Where theres one... (MS-IV)
"You seriously can't sit there and tell me that I can't go with you!"
"Y/n! You're crippled! You can't even run! What if we get attacked by walkers? What if you get bit?!"
"I'll be fine! I can handle myself! I know my limits and I know I'll be okay! Please Louis! Let me go with you! I want to see more than just the eyes view from the school! I haven't been out in months! Please Louis. I'm begging you."
"No absolutely not. I'm not going to say it again. You're staying in and that's final."
"Fine. Whatever."
Y/n threw her sweatshirt onto her bed aggressively before storming out of the room. Y/n was never one for hearing 'no'. She was a person who did what she wanted to despite the wishes of others, but this time, I think she knew to listen to my objection.
I decided it was time to pack up and leave for my hunting trip that day. I packed everything that I needed and threw on my coat. Can't leave without my best friend chairles either! I threw him over my shoulder and walked out of the room. I headed down to the courtyard and waved as I walked out with the rest of the hunting team.
Today was fishing for me so I headed down to the shed. I walked into the musty warm shed and picked out the spear that felt just right. Today was actually quite peaceful down by the river which was nice. I always kept my guard up though and made sure to check for walkers.
I sat by the river and tried to stab a fish whenever they came by in their little groups. A part of me loved playing this game of who's faster. The fish or the giant predator with the long stabby stick. I laughed to myself a lot when I thought about what I was doing and how I entertained myself with the boring idea of spear fishing but what else do you expect? Life isn't as grand anymore.
I ended the catch with about five fish. Not great bit it could be worse. I hope the boys with the traps had better luck than I did.
I ran to catch up with them and they were decked out with small animals.
"Well you guys look like you could be in game of thrones or something!" I laughed as I saw Mitch sling another rabbit over his shoulders. They laughed along too and counted their kill.
"Twelve all together?" Mitch asked aasim as he counted his.
"Yep. Seems like it!"
"Nice."
They shared a high five and we started to walk back to camp when we heard a low gurgle from behind us. We all tensed at the situation and knew that we were dead. Where there's one walker, there's a hundred more.
