When the tears come rolling

Y/n huddled in bed with the sheets pulled over her glum figure like a storm cloud had just swallowed her whole. She let out a shaky breath as another tear, filled with some form of sadness, rolled down her cheek and onto the mattress. She waited for her lovely boyfriend to burst down the door and swoop her away from nightmare land but she had no energy to go find him.
So there she laid, all scrunched in her own misery and she cried longer as she felt more pain in her chest.
Not long after the mopey girl had continued to cry, a creek was heard from the door, but she didn't move. Y/n was so drained by now that she refused to move from her position. Here, she was comfortable. Here she'd stay until the next morning, where she would have more energy to live.
Louis, her ever happy boyfriend strode over, not knowing of his girlfriends tragic mood.
He peered below the sheets to be taken back by the mess she was.
Hair all stringy in her face, tear stained cheeks and red eyes. She practically looked half dead.
Louis immediately scooped her aside and laid next to her.
"What's wrong, my sunshine?" He asked delicately as he pulled her to his chest.
An overwhelming feeling of want grew inside Louis as he desperately tried to make her feel better.
"I don't know. I'm just sad. And I could tell you why that is all day but the short version is I'm upset."
Louis stroked her beautiful locks delicately as he didn't want to mess up her hair even more.
Louis kissed her forehead and it seemed like the sun had kissed the earths surface after a rainy day.
The spot, left a little warm and wet, sent a shiver down y/ns spine.
Y/n smiled slightly at the gesture of affection and she cuddled into Louis closer as another tear slipped out.
They talked for a while and Louis calmed her in all the ways he knew.
He'd stroke her ever so slightly like the wind on a field of wheat.
He'd kiss her all over delicately and lovingly.
Y/n never forgot how he seemed to hold her like porcelain.
She never forgot how he cooed her and cheered her up.

After their whole talk, Louis brought y/n to his music room. Where the piano stood lonely in the back of the room. Louis turned the record player on and offered a hand to his love.
She excepted without a doubt and she let Louis lead her in a dance.
Louis grabbed onto her waist and cupped her left hand in his.
He swayed them back and forth, side to side dancing as swans would on water.
It wasn't anything professionals would have been impressed by, but the coordination and synchronization was impeccable.
Y/n started to relax as they danced a little longer. She started to let her arms down and smile as she was spun by her partner.
Louis let out a big laugh as he caught her in a dip.
There was one thing that was clearer than glass and that was the love they had for each other.
They were perfect for each other.
And that night, when they went to bed, y/n had felt better then than she had in days.
She felt her heartbeat slow as Louis sang a small lullaby to his cuddle bug.
She felt Louis drag his fingers up and down her arm lightly, making the hair on her arms stand up. She smiled as she looked down at his rough but smooth hands.
She never understood how one person could be a living oxymoron, but she loved him all the same.
She grabbed his soft hand and held it in her own as she tried to drift off to sleep.
Louis continued to hum as she closed her heavy eyes and rested her head on his chest.
She sighed lightly and her worries seemed to flood out with it.
She never cried that hard again because of him. She only went to him and let him hold her as the sun went to sleep.
And then, when the sun woke up, she was alright.
