Were you ever going to tell me? (MS-IV)

Your POV
I sighed as I sat on a small chair that was in the shed we locked ourselves in. Louis took a seat on the table that was by the window and we set up for the night. There was a mattress on the floor so we knew someone must have been living in here.
"Not for a while now though. The mattress looks like it's been collecting dust for at least a month now." He kicked it and a plume of grey floated up from it.
"That's great." I laughed.
"Well, would you like mr. dusty mattress or Mrs. Uncomfortable floor?"
"I'll take the Mrs., please."
"Okay, you're choice!"
My stomach grumbled and I grabbed it with my good arm.
"Do we have any food?"
"I have the fish I caught today, but we'd have to go outside and cook it."
I considered the pros and cons and threw them away when my stomach rumbled again.
"Let's go quick."
We removed everything in front of the door and made our way to an area where we could make a fire. It started quickly, thank the lord, and we cooked up the fish quick as we were still on edge of walkers.
"Ya know, I don't think the walkers will make it out this far but it still doesn't stop me from worrying."
"I get that." I agreed as I pulled the meat off of the fishes ribs. I saw Louis look at the fish and I knew he was hungry too.
"Here. Have this. I don't want it." Louis looked at the fish and rejected my offer. "Louis, You have to eat. I know you're hungry."
"I don't want it."
"Louis! Take the damn fish and eat it." I held it out to him and his face softened, but soon crumpled as he noticed something on my arm.
"That's not a tree scratch." He grabbed my arm and I winced in pain. He pulled my sleeve up quickly and sprang up and away from me just as fast.
"Holy shit you got bit."
"L-Louis! Louis please! Calm down."
He was starting to panic as he thought about the future.
"You're-you're dying. You're turning."
"Louis! Louis! Calm down!"
"Calm down?! Calm down?! Look at your arm and then tell me to calm down again."
"It's okay! It's happened before! I'm not going to die!" His panic seemed to stop abruptly at my words.
"What do you mean it's happened before? You've been bit before?" He tried to catch his breath.
I nodded and rolled up my shirt to show him my hip.
"It happened when I was twelve. I got bit but neither of my parents could kill me before I turned so they just waited but I never turned. Come to find out, I'm immune. I never even got sick from it."
"How did you find out you were immune?"
"I ended up living in a village for a while. Met another girl who was immune too. She told me I was like her."
"Have you gotten bit since?"
"No." I shook my head. "I still had to keep it a secret from everyone else."
"So were you ever going to tell me?"
The question shocked me and I didn't know how to respond so I averted my eyes from his gaze and shook my head.
"You weren't planning on telling me?"
I shook my head again.
He scoffed and shook his own head.
Louis started to pick at the fish and nibble off little bits but he gave up after about a minute or two.
"I'll be in the shed." He snipped angrily and walked off.
I nodded and decided to stick outside for a little so he could cool off. I helped bring down the fire and put it out before I went back into the shed.
