"Come on big man. Don't go all weak in the knees for me." Louis laughed as he easily fought this big man.
"You're gonna get it." The man growled
"Will I now?"
Louis sighed bored and knocked the man on the head which rendered him unconscious.
"Come on! Let's go." Louis called.
Y/n scrambled to her feet and followed Louis.
She reached for his hand and he took it.
"Come on, love!" Louis shouted
Y/ns heart fluttered at the name. She always found Louis attractive.
Everyone had made it back on board and there was a headcount done.
"Good everyone's here." The captain nodded.
"So what happened back there? We were ambushed."
"Those aren't bandits of items. They are bandits of people. Women to be exact."
"They steal and sell women?" The captain said straightening out her corset
"Yes. It's a very common thing now a days. It's a way to make good money. Some people also sell and buy kids. They make good workers."

"I'm alright." Y/b reassured.
"Yes, thank god for that one."
"Thank Louis."
"Thank you sir."
"Yes thank you. You saved our captain."
"You guys are welcome."
"Louis" y/n called
"Yes?"
"Can I speak to you?"
"Of course."

Y/n and Louis walked to her office and closed the door.
"What is it?"
"I wanted to give you a proper thank you. For saving me back there. You are owed a great debt that I don't think I can repay. If there is anything you wish for; money, food, anything. Let me know."
"There is one thing, but it's not money or food."
"What is it?"
"I want you to kiss me."
This came as a shock to y/n. No one had ever asked to kiss her before. At least, not in the way Louis meant it. Every man who ever hit on her wanted to kiss her in a sexual way. But Louis? He wasn't a sexualizing man. He seemed to genuinely care about her and she genuinely cared about him too.
"Done."
Louis was sitting down in her chair so she walked around the desk and placed her hands on either of the rests next to him.
"Kiss me then." She mumbled leaving closer to him. He learned up and connected his lips to hers.
Louis rested his hand on her cheek and smiled as he released from the kiss.
"Does this mean I'm the captain now?"
Y/n laughed and stood up from the chair.
"You're funny." She pointed to him and then flipped her hat on. She opened the door after pushing her sword into the sheath. She walked out with pride
"It was worth a shot!" He shouted and heard her sass back before she was out of view
