Third pov

"So are you sure you're ready to do this?" Mitch asked as he whispered to Louis.
Louis, his friends Clem, Mitch and Ruby, and his girlfriend y/n had all decided to take a trip to universal for their summer. They had been long overdue for a meeting since they had started their own lives. They were used to seeing each other day to day so the long separation put them all at eagerness for this trip. They had met each other at their airport destination and taken a Uber to their hotel.
"Yes, we've known each other for so long now. I mean it just feels right... right?"
"I think it does! I mean it's perfect timing!" Clem nodded excitedly
"I hope so."

Y/n had decided to take the first shower, knowing she'd be the quickest and the least needing of hot water. So she turned the shower on to a medium heat and started to wash herself off.

"I mean really when you think about it this is optimal time!" Mitch said with a sprinkle of giddiness in his still quiet voice.
"I do too. That's why I want it to happen on this trip. There's just so much going on I want to make sure it's perfect. Like so so perfect."
"It will be perfect no matter what. She loves you and she'll be so happy no matter where it's at."
"I'm nervous. I'm so nervous."

Y/n had been enjoying herself that she forgot others needed their showers as well. She hopped out of the shower quickly and shoved her shorts on. She threw on a t shirt and fought with the neck hole as she shoved her head through it. Her body was still damp and didn't help her hair was still dripping.

"Well sleep well tonight because it's gonna be a big day tomorrow. You have the ring right?"
"Yes I double and triple and quadruple checked."
"Good." Everyone nodded in sync and they broke from their circle.
Louis walked out of the second bedroom and to his bed where he had his suitcase still open on the bed. He saw the dark green velvet box sticking out and cursed to himself. He quickly tucked the box back in and heard the bathroom door open. He closed his bag, zipping it with fervour, and set it on the floor.
"What's up with you jumpy?" Y/n laughed as he teased her boyfriend.
"Sorry. Just tired and kinda on edge." Louis sighed. She walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him.
"Okay baby. Why don't you get into bed. It's been a long day. Want me to get you a water?"
He nodded and decided to skip his shower. He thought since he showered this morning that it wouldn't be a terrible idea. He changed into his pajamas which was just a big shirt and basketball shorts. He got into the bed which crinkled with every movement. Y/n brought over his water and set it on the bedside table. She leaned down and pressed her lips to his forehead. She made it seem like a kiss but she was really checking his temperature to make sure he wasn't getting sick or overworked.
Y/n pivoted to walk away but she was stopped.
"Come cuddle with me." Louis begged.
She was swayed too easily by this man. She took one look at his soft smile and she had to listen. She got in on the other side and scooted in next to him. He pulled her in by the waist and inhaled her scent. He felt completely and totally at home even though they were thousands of miles away.
It was still new to him to be sharing a bed with her. They had only been living in the same house for around six months but they've been dating for years.
Their early twenties had given them an interesting relationship, mostly from friends to virtual lovers to now in person lovers. This didn't stop him from knowing how much he wanted to be with her forever though.
He felt her move and bury herself deeper into his hold. She was feeling really safe and happy in the moment and Louis was feeling the same. He always loved seeing her close her eyes to rest on him. As creepy as it sounds he loved watching her sleep. He liked knowing she was safe and happy. Y/n on the other hand loved sleeping on him because it made her at peace that Louis was with her. Y/n found a lot of peace in having a lover. She was always obsessed with being in a stable happy relationship so when she finally found Louis she was determined to make it work.

It took y/n and Louis no time to fall asleep that night. Although Louis had fallen asleep with a knot in his stomach metaphorically and a girl on his chest physically.

The next morning was an early one, everyone up at the crack of dawn. Everyone pattered around the hotel room until they decided they were all ready to leave for the park. One by one then filed out of the room, down to the lobby, out the door and onto the bus. Deciding to stay on universal property really treated them well. They all came to a non verbal agreement that this was a better choice.
All five of them decided to take a seat, although Louis opted to stand and hold on for dear life. The bus took a screeching start and Louis braced himself. Y/n grabbed his waist to steady him which he breathily thanked her afterward for. She giggled a little bit and watched him intently for the rest of the ride. Louis wasn't skinny but he definitely wasn't overweight either. Leaning more toward the lean side but with a lot of muscle as well. Y/n watched as his arm flexed and relaxed, controlling himself as the bus moved. She felt her face go hot as her mind wandered.
"You okay darlin?" Louis asked with a smirk
"Huh? Oh...u-uh huh. Yeah I'm-I'm good."
"Okay." He looked off out the window "but you know it's not polite to stare."
She knew he knew which made her face turn even more red.
"I wasn't.. staring per say." She tried to cover but she knew her attempt was futile.
"It's okay love. It's nice to know you look at me."
She was still totally embarrassed, although she shouldn't really have been. They've been dating for a while and known each other for even longer but y/n still found herself getting flustered from incidents like these. All of their friends said they'd never leave the honeymoon phase of their relationship, they were so in love with each other.

They made their way to the park and deliberated over Cinnabon what they'd do all day. Ruby Clem and Louis wanted to do all of Harry Potter while Mitch and y/n voted for Jurassic park and Simpsons
"Well I think majority rule should be taken into consideration." Ruby dealt.
"Of course you would!" Y/n laughed as she stuck the straw of her drink in her mouth "but I'm fine with whatever."
"Okay. Harry Potter it is." Louis nodded

First POV
They made their way into hogsmeade, passing the Jurassic park area in the process
"Awww, come on man it's like it's mocking me!" Mitch whined as he was passed it and into Harry Potter
"It's okay Mitch! We will be there later!" I patted his back and directed him.
"This is so cool!" Louis's eyes gleamed as he looked at all the buildings
Louis ran into a store with a gasp and came back out in a minute with a stuffed animal.
"What.. is it?" I asked as I poked the round fluffy purple toy
"It's a Pygmy Puff!" He cheered
"But why?" I rasied an eyebrow
"Because he's cute! Look at his face! They are so fat and fluffy!" Louis cooed and squeezed the thing. My heart tightened and I couldn't help but aww.
"God I hate how cute you are sometimes." I grumbled.
"Why?" He looked up from his head tilting on his puff on his shoulder
"Because sometimes I just want to not understand why you like such weird things but then you do shit like this and it makes me understand."
"And that's a bad thing?" He tilted his head slightly and furrowed his brows.
I leaned over quickly and locked my lips on his.
"Not at all." I backed away
"Ayo! Wait! I want another one!" He pulled me back to him and kissed me softly again "there"
"Okay, can we move on from this store please?"
"Yep. Let's find the rest of the group."

We had decided to get some butterbeer when it turned around two pm. It was getting really hot and we were all starting to get tired.
We had done the whole Harry Potter section including diagon alley and we're moving onto Jurassic park. Mitch and I hitched arms and skipped to the ride lines.
"You guys are dorks." Clem laughed as she shook her head. Ruby was laughing as she watched her boyfriend talk about dinosaurs and do obscure movements to match.
Ruby and Mitch didn't act much like a couple, more like really good friends. They weren't very affectionate nor did they have pet names for each other. Something y/n and Louis didn't understand. Now it's not like y/n and Louis were a disgusting couple, they honestly weren't much for PDA at all, but sometimes they had their moments where they wished for some affection in the public eye. They always held hands but mostly that was it. Everyone just knew they were suckers for each other though. Their friends would like to tease them and make jokes about how mushy they were but it didn't bother them.

They got on the big water ride, only y/n and Mitch knew about the big drop that was going to happen.
"Do you want me to tell you what happens?!"
"Yes very much so!!" Louis nodded vigorously
"There's a huge drop at the end of it! I will let you know it's very steep."
"What?! Holy crap I'm gonna cry." Louis leaned his head back against the seat and sighed
"You'll be okay." I laughed I rubbed his shoulder
The ride went on and we started the tall climb.
"I'm going to cry. I'm gonna vomit. Im shaking so bad." Louis shook his head
"Just close your eyes hon. Just close your eyes." I cooed to him "this isn't the big drop It's got a little dip but that's it."
It dropped a little and Louis let out a shriek which made me laugh hard.
"Its not funny!" He yelled.
I looked over to the other side me and saw Clem and Ruby holding on for dead life. Mitch was cheering getting ready for the end.
"I hate this!" Clem screamed, pounding on the lap bar
"Get ready!!" I screamed as we took another small climb
We all looked forward to see a giant T. rex in green smoke.
"Here we go!" Mitch screamed.
In an instant, I felt the gravity under me slip and we started to fall. I screamed and so did the other four around me. I heard Louis on my right scream louder than anyone. We started to over curve and we were out. We made it quickly through the line and got out.
I saw Louis's knees shaking after he got out.
"Baby you're shaking so hard."
"We are. Never. Doing that again."
"Okay we don't have to."
Clem looked at me with fear in her eyes.
I walked up and wrapped my arms around her.
"You're alright."
"That was so scary." She mumbled into my shoulder
"You're alright." I laughed. Mitch raised his hand for a high five and I received it.
Louis looked at me with a pout and I pouted back.
"Was that too scary for the big bad boyfriend?"
"That was terrifying. I hated that."
"I thought it was pretty fun!" Ruby smiled.
"See?! Some people do like it!" I cheered
"Yeah... psychopaths." Clem snapped
"Okay, why don't we go for dinner now? We don't have to do any more rides." Mitch suggested. I nodded in agreement as I went to grab our bags from the lockers.
Louis ran up as I opened the door and reached over me.
"It's fine! I got my bag!" He snatched the bag from my hand and I raised a brow.
"Okay damn."

We dried off by the time we got to dinner. We all voted on Hard Rock Cafe for dinner and then the cool emporium looking thing for dessert. Mitch says their desserts were really good.
We lined up at hard rock and Mitch asked Louis to go to the bathroom with him. The girls and I stood in line till we waited to be seated.
We were sat down quickly but Ruby stayed behind to bring the boys to the table.
They joined up a couple minutes later and we all sat down to eat.
The food was pretty good and service was really quick. It was pretty busy so we were all shocked how fast it came out.

"Dessert?" Ruby asked excitedly after we payed for dinner.
"Absolutely yes!" I agreed. We got up and Louis offered his hand to me as I stood from the booth. We walked to the fake factory, the lights and topiaries were very beautiful since the sun had set.
We got a table after a little wait and sat down. We got an outside table and ordered our desserts which came quickly. We are our desserts, Louis and I shared a dessert. We got a brownie sundae which looked like a mountain of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I ate slower than Louis did, he ate half and then gave the other half to me. Throughout the dessert i found myself turning back to the girls and talking to them. I felt a small tug on my sleeve and I looked over.
"Hey can I ask you something?" Louis asked. I nodded and he turned to grab something. I looked back at him as he got off the bench and onto one knee. He pulled forward a little green box and my heart dropped.
"Holy fuck." I cursed as he started to speak
"Y/n, you and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember, it's hard to remember when we even started considering each other more than friends because I've always loved you. I love you so much and I know our physical time together has been short but darling, I know you're right for me. I usually don't know anything but baby I know you are so perfect for me. I have never been more confident of anything. I love you so much. So baby, will you marry me?"
I sat there for a minute before jumping in my seat
"Yes yes absolutely yes! One hundred thousand times yes of course!" I started to cry as he stood up and pulled me to my feet. He pulled me in for a hug which lifted me off the ground for a second. He set me down, grabbed my waist and pulled me in for a long kiss.
"She said yes!" Mitch cheered and everyone around us erupted in applause.
"Congratulations!" And "congrats!" Was thrown throughout the crowd.
I looked down as Louis put the ring on my shaky finger.
"Stop shaking darling I can't get the ring on!" He laughed as he steadied my hand.
He slid the ring on which looked and felt perfect.
"Holy shut this is so unreal." I laughed as I took some deep breaths "how did you even plan this?!"
"I had some help from friends." Louis looked at the group who gave us a smile and some thumbs up "Mitch suggested to propose here instead of hard rock when we went to the bathroom."
"You sneaky sneaky man!" I scolded and Mitch waved me off with a smirk.
"I hope you liked the surprise and it's everything you could have hoped for."
"It's perfect Louis." I shook my head still I'm disbelief.
"Im glad."
"Come on, let's get back my feet hurt." Clem whined.
"Okay okay, back to the hotel room." I directed us all the way back to the hotel room where Louis and I went to bed very happy that night as a newly engaged couple
