I walked over to the right side of the building crouching down. "Dammit... I don't think we'll be able to jump across the buildings.." I said as I rubbed my temple in irritation. "Maybe you can't, but I can." Sebastian said confusing me. "What do you mean? The jumps are too far to take for a human." I said looking at him weirdly. "But I'm not human." Sebastian said with a smile. I got up and made sure no Lurker saw me as I walked back over to Sebastian. "I have inhuman strength. I can carry you across in whichever direction you need me to." Sebastian said with a fake smile.

"Errr... Won't I be too heavy?" I said nervously. I haven't been picked up in a decade and a half. "Nonsense." Sebastian said as he crouched down. "Hop on." I nervously looked at him and got on his back with hesistence. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. He stood up and held the back of my knees pushing me up a little as he got into a running position. "I swear, if you drop me I won't hesitate to shoot your shitty brains out." I said as I wrapped my arms tighter around his neck.

"What foul language." Sebastian said with an amused smirk. "Shut it you tall ass freak." I said in irritation. "I won't let harm come your way, after all, Ciel did order me to bring you back safely." Sebastian said with a (fake. You know the drill) smile. I sighed and looked around the area. "There is a small grocery store a few miles from here. How fast can you go?" I asked in a soft whisper as to not attract the attention of any Lurkers. "Faster than a horse." Sebastian said in a whisper as well.

"Alright... I'll tell you the directions ok?" I said as I got prepared for takeoff. "Alright (F/n)." He said as he began to run. I held on tight as he jumped from building to building. "Sebastian, turn right on that blue building." I whispered into his ear. "And make sure not to make too much noise when you land." I said again in a whisper. "Alright." He said as he took a right on a rather tall blue building. "Now which way do I turn?" Sebastian asked as he slowed down a little as to not miss any directions.

"Take a left on that dark blue marble building and then take another right on that building with the sign that says 'Bank of America'." I whispered again into his ear watching the Lurkers roam around the streets. I got washed over with anxiety again thinking about the others and slowly lost my grip on Sebastian's neck causing him to stop on a building whispering a little loudly. "I suggest you don't lose your grip on me if you don't want to fall and break something." Sebastian said with a sarcastic smile. "Or I can always carry you bridal style if you'd like." He said as his smile turned into a smirk.

"In your dreams bastard." I said bitterly as he chuckled. "Alright. Just hold on tight." Sebastian said as he got back on track. We reached the roof of the small grocery store in only about five minutes. I got off his back and lightly shivered grabbing the gun from my arm and handing it to him. Winter will be here soon.. "Only use it in a worse case scenario." I said as I looked around the roof top. "How do you suppose we get in?" Sebastian asked as he hid the gun in his tailcoat. "I'm not sure. Maybe we can sneak in through the back door." I suggested as I walked over to the back of the rooftop.

"The coast looks clear." I said peaking over the edge of the building seeing no Lurkers in sight. I then got lifted and tossed over Sebastian's shoulder before he jumped down from the building making me squeak in surprise. I covered my mouth as Sebastian set me back on my feet. "Oh my, you sounded just like a little kitten." Sebastian said as he smiled at my blushing form. "Sh-shut the hell up." I said walking past him to the back door. I grabbed onto the door knob and realized it's locked. "Shit.." I cursed to myself.

"It's locked.." I said in defeat. Locked objects are my weakness. "Oh really?" Sebastian questioned as he grabbed the door knob and LITERALLY tore it off as if it was a sticky note. My mouth opened in shock at his inhuman strength. He looked at me with a smile and closed my mouth with his gloved fingers. He then opened the door with a smug look on his face that really ticked me off. "Ladies first." He said with a wink. "Tch, bastard." I whispered under my breath as I walked past him irritably. "I heard that." He said again with a smile making me flip him off.

"Why so cruel?" He asked as he held his heart in fake hurt as he rejoined me at my side. "Oh put a sock in it and pay attention." I said as I hid behind an empty shelf of food. All of the lights in the store are out so I pulled out two flashlights. "Here." I said as I handed him a flashlight and the knife from my arm as I held the flashlight in my (N/d/h) hand and my machete in my (D/h) hand. I took soft steps between the isles making sure not to make any noise. I heard grumbling coming from the other side of the isle to my left.

I walked softly over to the front of the left shelf and peaked over at the Lurker limping in my direction. As the Lurker got close to me, Sebastian pulled me back by my arm and stuck his knife right into the Lurkers eye socket and into its brain killing it completely. "What the fuck? I had that." I whisper shouted at Sebastian. "My apologies but I can't risk you getting hurt on my watch. I was ordered to make sure you're safe and unharmed." Sebastian said with an innocent look on his face.

"Well you don't need to listen to the brat's orders because I can clearly take care of myself." I said louder than I wanted to catching the attention of all the other Lurkers in the store. "Not so loud (F/n). You don't want to catch the attention of any of the undead in here do you?" Sebastian said a little seriously. "Tch, whatever." I tched as I walked out the isle only to fall forward because something grabbed onto my ankle. I shrieked as I looked back and saw a Lurker about to chow down onto my ankle. I realized I dropped my machete as I heard Sebastian shout out my name as I felt teeth against my ankle.
"(F/n)!"
