It was a warm day in georgia. My aunt and I was staying with some friends on a farm in the countryside. It was a few months after the walkers had risen. She was ill and pregnant. I wanted to keep her safe.
"Angel Im worried. I dont like shane." she said weakly.
"Niether do i." I admitted. Mel was ill. She was pale with a sunken face. Her muscles were atrophied. Everything save her belly was shriveled. I was worried.
"I'm cold." Mel said weakly.
"Lets go by a fire." I said. As we got to the fire Shaned eyed mel. He seemed to hate us. He thought we were weak. He was an idiots. I hated him.
"Ya'll cold?" Shane asked.
"Why do you care?" I asked. Rick came to the fire. Shane went way. I was more comfortable this way. He seemed to be sharprning knives with josh. I relaxed.
"You ok Aunt Mel?" I asked.
"Yes but im tired." Mel said rubbing her belly weakly. We went to bed. When I woke up she was gone. We went out to find her. We found her in a shack. She was bound and gagged.
"Aunt mel who did this?" I said.
"Shane, he left me for the walkers." she answered weakly.
