Lydia's P.O.V.

"Hey, Cassie!" I say while stepping out of the house trying to manage things in one arm as I hold the phone in the other, "What's up?"

She chuckled over the phone, "Nothing, I was just missing you so I thought I would call," She said sounding exhausted

My smile slightly fell, and I missed her a lot, "I miss you too Cassie but you know I can't come back." 

"I know," She whispered, "But you could visit from time to time, I mean it's been four years..."

I shook my head as if she could see me, "No, I could send you some tickets again, bring Ocean along. Hunter has been missing her...I was going to Facetime you last night but I had to pick up an extra shift."

"Yeah, I know. Maybe I could come down for Hunter's birthday? It's coming up soon right?"

"Yeah, it's in a month." I respond shoving my bag into my car as I quickly get into my car, I  got off of work so late today, I had a night shift and decided to stay for the morning as well, I was exhausted, "Is everything alright Cassie? I mean you sound so tired..."

"Ocean kept me up all night," She took a deep breath, "She had a high fever and kept puking."

"Oh no, is she okay now?" I ask concerned starting my car, 

"Blue is a little better but her fever is still there," Cassie sighed, "Have any remedies, Nurse Jackson?"

Giggling I try to think, "Um...keep her well clothed, don't give her any ice cream, and just keep checking on her fever every two hours. That's all, if I was there I could properly give you tips on how to take care of her."

Cassie cleared her throat, "Yeah...anyway," She changed the topic, "How's the apartment hunting going?"

Parking the car in the garage I shrug as if she could see me, "Eh, I have seen some that catch my eyes but not a lot. It's expensive here in Chandler, but I don't want to stay here with Aunt May and Uncle Noah forever. I am 26 years old, with a five-year-old son and a four-year-old daughter, I need to learn how to manage." I sighed, "I have one in my sights, I talked to the realtor today so I am taking Hunter, Vallie, and Harvey along with me to check it out after I take a shower."

She yawned, "Yeah...I would ask Stefan to move out but you know how Flynn is."

My smile fell completely at the mention of his name, "Stop Cassie, I don't want to talk about him."

"Dia, this stubbornness needs to-"

"I gotta go, Cassie, I'll talk to you later," I say quickly before hanging up. I don't need to do anything, I didn't leave on my own will and now I definitely won't be the one to go back to that house ever again. 

How is it my fault that his mother died during a shoot-out? How is it my fault that my parent's plan had gone wrong? I didn't even know what the hell they were doing or where they went half of the time. But no, Flynn's impulsive behavior has always been justified, and my feeling? They have been disregarded. 

Huffing I pull out my overnight back and walk into the house, "I'm home," I call out. 

"Mommy!" Hunter runs to me excitedly clinging onto my legs smiling I lift him up giving him a tight hug.

"Hey baby," I whisper before walking into the kitchen where the rest of the family was, "Hey,"

Harvey smiled at me, "Hey Dia,"

"Where is Vallie?"

"Sleeping," He said.

Aunt May and Uncle Noah look up from their laptops, "Fianlly you are home," Uncle Noah said, "I thought you were supposed to come earlier?"

Putting Hunter down I stretch out my back, "I was but I picked up an extra shift, I need to save as much money as possible if I want to put in a good offer for that apartment we are going to check out today."

Aunt May passed me a cup of coffee, "We could always help Dia," I shook my head but she cut me off, "Like a loan," She continued, "We could lend you the money and slowly when you have cash in hand you could pay us back."

I looked at her shocked, "Really?" 

Uncle Noah chuckled, "Of course Dia,"

I squealed in excitement pulling both of them in a tight hug, "Thank you, thank you!" I said excitedly before pulling out of the hug, "I swear I will pay you every cent back, I just need to put a down on the apartment and after that, I swear I will pay you back."

Aunt May smiled grabbing my hand, "We are you, family, too Dia, your mom and dad would have helped you out too, so we are just trying to step in their shoes."

"You have done more than enough," I said, "I will be forever grateful for the love and support all of you have showered on Hunter, Vallie, and I. So thank you...and don't worry even after we move out Hunter and Vallie will come here almost every day while I go to work. How does that sound?"

Aunt May giggled, "That sounds great, now go on and shower, the showing of the apartment is in an hour and you smell like the hospital, no one likes that smell."

"Haha," Hunter said, "Mommy smells," 

Harvey lifted Hunter up in his arms, "You smell to Dimples, don't you think I will forget about your bath either,"

"Here I will take him," I offered but Harvey pulled him back shaking his head

"Go shower Dia, I got him."

Retracting my arms I smiled walking away from them, quickly getting undressed I stepped into the water relaxing my body, groaning I closed my eyes letting the water loosen my tense muscles, 

Enjoying the feeling of the water against my body I leaned over grabbing my body wash as I began to lather it all over I jumped as a hand stopped me, "Let me do your back Luna," Flynn whispered in my ear shivers went down my spine. Releasing my grip on the loafa I let him lather my back on soap really getting all the nick and curves, turning me around so I was facing him the water washing the soap away... "Need help anywhere else?"

Lost in his arms I shook my head, "No," I said breathlessly I leaned up to kiss him but he pulled away a reluctant whimper left my lips from the rejection. Flynn chuckled running his hands all over my body in the blink of an eye he pushed me against the shower wall letting the water run against his back, lifting me so that my legs were wrapped around his waist he began kissing my neck, "Flynn..." I moaned arching my back so I could get closer to him but he was denying me any other contact with his body other than my legs around his waist. 

"Someone is needy today," He whispered raspily in my ear as he bit down on the skin above my collarbone. My breath hitched trying to reach for his body but he held me tightly against the wall, "Tell me what you want" I fluttered my eyes open looking into his deep brown eyes, "Go on..."

"You," I whispered back, "I want you," With a blink of an eye his lips attacked mine mercilessly as I matched his want...his hunger, moaning as his body finally flushed against mine I rocked my hips into him not wanting to break our kiss I locked his head against mine by tangling my fingers in his air. My lungs were screaming for air but I didn't want to come up, I was drowning in him. 

Flynn reluctantly let my lips go with a pop both of us were breathing very heavily," This hunger...this want... will always be there, as long as I am with you..." He said barely above a whisper as he lifted me higher, "I love you, Luna,"

Preparing myself for what was coming next I slowly closed my eyes, "I love you too Alpha,"

"Dia! Come on, how much longer are you going to take?" Harvey yelled slamming my bathroom door with his fist. 

I gasped opening my eyes, the water had gone cold as I frantically looked around the bathroom for Flynn...I couldn't have been imagining everything..."Dia! You have five minutes to come out of there before I break the door down." He called out again concerned. 

"Y-Yeah!" I stuttered, "I'm coming," I called out, "Sorry I was just- I lost track of time. Five minutes, I'll be out."

Turning the water off I quickly dry myself off shivering, getting dressed I dry my hair before throwing on a beanie saving myself from the cold. Taking a deep breath I rush out of my room avoiding everyone's gaze, "Let's go, Harvey," I say firmly grabbing Hunter's hand. 

Harvey gave me a concerned look but thankfully dropped the topic and headed out the door with me.
