Lydia's P.O.V.

I felt his tears fall in the crook of my neck, as my own rolled down my cheeks...the man that broke me was broken himself...but I was too afraid to let him back in... too afraid to give him my heart again...it took way too long to piece it back together before...

"Flynn," I whispered gently running my finger through his hair I tried to gain his attention but he didn't give, his body racked with sobs, "Flynn,"

He pulled me against himself tighter, "I was a fucking idiot, I am a fucking idiot...please I want my family back..."

Closing my eyes I let my tears fall as well, gently coaxing his face off of my shoulder I give him a gentle smile, before leaning up and brushing my lips against his in a light kiss, I almost moaned...it had been so long since I had felt his warmth..."You have us," I said quietly, "Hunter, Vallie, and I are right here Flynn." 

His eyes searched mine hopefully, "I'm not promising anything, but...win my trust over again, take care of our kids...but one mess up Flynn, one mess up the three of us are out of here."

Flynn's eyes light up squeezing the life out of me, he chuckled emotionally, "Thank you."

I know...if felt as if I had given in too easily, but..."You are allowed back in the kid's life..not mine."

His happiness was short-lived, "What?"

"This second chance is for the kids, not for me...Flynn I-"

"We'll see," He said quickly, flipping us over so we were laying on our side he kept me trapped against him, "I'm so happy right now."

"Flynn, let me finish." I begin, 

But he hushed me, "Nope."

"Flynn,"

"Sh," He hushed, "Go to sleep,"

"But the kids-"

"Cassie's got them." Knowing I wasn't going to win I breathed out heavily, relaxing in his arms my eyes fluttering shut. 

"I know you still love me," I heard him whisper, "And this time, I am not going to let you go."

I woke up by getting showered with kisses, "Momma, momma!" Dimples said giggling, "Muah," He made the kissing sound, "You do it to Vallie." She giggled as well, actually laying a slobbering kiss on my cheek,  "Your turn Flynn,"

I heard him huskily chuckle, gently laying a kiss on my cheek, "Momma," Vallie whined, smiling I opened my eyes, "Morning Mama,"

Flynn stretched over pulling her in the middle as Dimples stayed beside me, "Aah," Vallie screamed playfully as he gently tickled her stomach, Dimples was grinning, "Did you like your morning surprise?"

"Loved it," I said gently caressing his cheek, "Thank you, baby,"

Dimples jumped over my body helping Vallie as they attacked Flynn, he looked over to me, and at the time I knew we were thinking the same thing...this was the perfect morning, this is what we had dreamed of together...waking up like this with our kids. 

Flynn chuckled, "Okay okay I lose."

Dimples and Vallie high-fived each other before jumping off the bed, "I smell pancake." He said Vallie's eyes light up, "Race ya."

"Careful!" I said sitting up in bed, Flynn grabbed my arm pulling me towards him so I fell on his chest, he leaned up to kiss me but I backed off shaking my head, "I haven't brushed," 

"Don't care," He mumbled grabbing the back of my head he pulled me down kissing me gently, "You have no idea how long I have been waiting for a morning like this...every morning my mind would screw with me, it would feel as if I had you in my arms, but I would open my eyes I would be alone..."

"I guess we never actually left each other," I said quietly relaxing in his arms again I played with his fingers, 

"What do you mean?"

"Because I felt the same," I admitted, "I felt as if I was in your arms every morning but I would wake up in a cold bed alone."

Flynn gently caressed my cheek, "I know I have to do a lot of work before everything goes back to normal, but could you sleep here at night? I haven't slept that good in a long time."

Smiling, "Sleeping is good,"

Showing off his adorable dimples that our kids got from him he gently kissed my lips, my eyes fluttered shut as he maneuvered us so he was on top, resting his weight on his elbows he tilted his head to the side getting a better angle, my hands found his hair tangling my fingers in it, Flynn licked my bottom lip asking for access but I denied keeping my mouth close...he didn't like that. 

Flynn's hands began to wander gently squeezing my sides, he sneakily snuck his tongue in as I gasped, Flynn moaned in my mouth, the kiss was getting heated fast, and our bodies were starving for one another, "Fuck," He groaned pulling away to assault my neck definitely leaving hickeys, "I missed you so much."

My body arched against him... "Oh my god!" Allie screamed I quickly pushed Flynn off of me, sitting up embarrassed as Flynn fell to the ground, "I'm sorry, I didn't see anything! I swear I didn't see anything." 

My face began to burn up in embarrassment, she had her back turned to me, "Knock next time," Flynn said firmly, 

"Sorry, I didn't know that you two had patched up again! Wait are you two back together?"

"No."

"Yes."  Flynn and I said together, Flynn raised his eyebrow at me as I shook my head, "It's complicated."

"Well, you two don't have to worry about me...Um, I just came up to say that breakfast is ready, mom and Dad are calling everyone down to the table, they want to talk about Cass and Stefan's wedding."

"Alright, we'll be down soon." 

Allie rushed out shutting the door behind her I groaned hiding my face behind the blanket, "That was so embarrassing Flynn."

 He chuckled tugging at the blanket successfully moving it away from me, "Come on, we've been caught in more embarrassing situations before...remember the training room?"

"Brazen caught us," I responded, 

"Right, and the second time."

"Allie and Cassie caught us," I giggled, "We really needed to lock the door behind us."

"We still do." Gently brushing away some hair from my face he gazed at me lovingly, "Use this bathroom, I'll use the guest room one."

I nodded as he stood up from the bed, stretching I also got off the bed and walked into the bathroom, I decided to shower to relieve some stress and wake up a little more...everything about this morning was so perfect...it was almost scary...but it felt good...this is what I had always wanted our kids and Flynn and me... 

Then why did I have this fear? I know he's trying his best...but...when will this doubt go away?

Flynn's P.O.V. 

Drying off my hair with the towel I had a huge smile on my face as I walked out of the guest room accidentally bumping into Brazen who helped me regain balance. "Slow Down,"

"Sorry man," I respond smiling at him, Brazen looked at me surprised, "What?"

"You're smiling?"

"Yeah and?"

He shook his head, "Nothing, it's good. I just haven't seen you smile in a long time, it felt weird."

"Lydia is the reason." I admit, "She has finally agreed to give me another chance and I am not going to screw it up at all...at least I hope not. I love her, you were always right Zenny, and Im sorry for always being such a dick to you." Pulling him in a tight hug, "I was miserable for four years without my family, and you were always there for me...thank you."

Brazen hugged me back tightly, "Any time little bro,"

Chuckling I pull back, "Hey, I'm the Alpha."

He rolled his eyes throwing his arm around my shoulder, "Whatever, you'll always be my little brother."

And I was glad, he was the only person who wasn't afraid to show me the mirror, he was the only person who always stood by me... even when I didn't deserve it.
