Lydia's P.O.V.

"Alright, shopping is done. Satisfied?" I ask cheekily, causing Cassie to shoot me a playful glare. "Kidding, now where to next?"

Cassie was about to answer but then her phone rang, "Hello?" Her smile fell instantly, "Woah, calm down Allie, I can't- understand what you are saying." I took the phone out of her hand in panic 

"Allie, what is going on? Are the kids alright?"

"Flynn." She gasped out, "Flynn and Stefan, all the boys are hurt. We need your help Dia, come home fast." 

"Cassie we need to leave now." She nodded running towards the car we sped back home. Dropping our bags we ran down to the medical room, where Flora and Dr. Jazz were, 

"The bullet is lodged in her ribs Flora, you can't assist me I need a proper-"

"I can help." I cut in, quickly scrubbing in I put on the mandatory clothes, "Who are we working on?" I ask shoving Dr. Jazz to the side as Flora looks at me helplessly, Flynn is laying there beaten up and unconscious.  "What the hell..."

"Please Dia," Flora begged, "Please,"

"Don't." I say, "Don't beg Flora. I took an oath, it doesnt matter who it is in front of me, I will take care of them and serve them. No matter how much he hurt me, I-" Clenching my jaw I look over at Dr. Jazz, "Shall we?"

Dr. Jazz nodded, "Let's get to work, Flora handle Stefan and the two nurses I asked for will handle the other three." I shakily set up the IV flooding his blood with some glucose and medicine, as Dr. Jazz began to clean up his head, I inhaled sharply asking for the scaple to begin cutting out the first bullet that was lodged in his shoulder. 

"Flynn, I get scared when you go out like that." I say quietly cleaning the wound on his shoulder, "You never come back in one peace, think about when Hunter grows up."

"Baby," He whispered gently trying to draw my attention toward his eyes but I shook my head brushing his hand off of my face. 

"Stop." Grabbing the gauze I begin to wrap it around the wound, "I don't want to look at you."

"Why not Luna?" 

"Flynn."

"Lydia," Flynn said firmly, 

"If I look into your eyes Flynn, I'll lose myself again."  He chuckled lightly gently nudging my chin as I looked up at him. 

"I love you Lydia and I promise you I will  try my best that I don't come home like this again, I promise you Hunter won't see me like this." 

"Flynn, I-"

"But I can't deal with this silence Luna, I need to hear your voice." My breath shattered as he pulled me closer into his lap and off the floor. "I need to see your beautiful smile, I need to feel your lips against mine, " Genly pecking my lips he started to overwhelm my senses, "I need you."

Shakily placing my hands against his chest I lean into him, "I need you too, I love you."

"Lydia, he's waking up." Dr. Jazz said, "Lydia we need to give him another injection, Lydia stop!" He grabbed my hand roughly,  I gasped looking at him wide-eyed, my hands began to shake, and Flynn was groaning in pain, 

"S-Sorry," I whispered scared gulping I took the injection from Dr. Jazz injecting it into his IV again, upping  the dose of the anesthesia I watched him go back to sleep, "How's the bullet looking in the Ribs?"

"Almost got it." Dr. Jazz grunted pulling the bullet out he held it up, "That is gnarly." Scrunching up my nose I shake my head, "Alright, I'll stitch him up, go clean up Dia."

"No." I say, "I-I want to stay, I mean, I just-" I felt anxious, I needed to stay around him.

"I understand." He cut me off, "But you need rest Dia, it's been almost two hours."

Flora walked over to us gently rubbing my back, "Love doesn't fade Dia," She said quietly, "Time and Space are thought to cause two people to separate from one another, but you two...time and space brought you two closer, and you might not want to believe that now but with old age you tend to see it."

 Clenching my jaw I gently grab her hand, "I wasn't the one who stopped loving him Flora, he was the one." Turning to face her I exhale deeply, "How are the kids?"

She offered me a gentle smile, "They are worried for them, Hunter has been pacing around the front door...he's stubborn like Flynn. Cassie tried to make him go to bed, but he didn't listen."

There is his blood running through his veins, "When Flynn wakes up I'll bring him in." 

Flora looked at me surprised, quickly walked out of the medical room, and washed up my hand that was covered in his blood. Splashing water over my face I try to calm my anxiety down. I had told him to be careful, I had told him that I- No, Lydia stop. No, you don't need him...whimpering I lean against the counter pushing my tears back. 

He was hurt, and it felt as if I was...my hands began to shake, 

"Afraid to lose me huh?" His voice rang in my ears, No, No this is the last thing I need right now. "Lydia," I felt his hand grab my arm, whimpering I turned around keeping my eyes shut. "Baby, I am not going anywhere, you want to know why?"

I shook my head no, "Because you are back. Because I got my kids back..."

"Flynn," I say barely above a whisper, 

"Don't," He cut me off, "You love me, and I love you."

"Lydia." Cassie knocked on the door, "Lydia, Hunter is looking for you." Panic took over my body rushing out of the bathroom I ran past Cassie towards Hunter. 

"Dimples!" I call out, "Dimples," Running towards him as he was sitting beside Flora he jumped out of his chair running into my arms, "What's wrong baby? What hurts?"

He shook his head "Nothing hurts Mommy,"

"Then?"

"Is Flynn okay Mommy? What about Uncle Stefan, Harlow, Brazen, and Arlo?"

Wiping his tears away I forced a smile, "They all are hurt a little okay? They are getting retreated,"

"Did you help momma?"

Lifting him up in my arms I nodd, "Momma helped, where is Vallie baby?"

"Vallie is napping, so is Ocean but Venny,"

"Is here." His cute voice popped in the middle of our conversation, "Is daddy okay Auntie?"

Pulling him to sit down beside me I snuggle him into my side, "Daddy will be just fine."

Allie, Cassie, and Arya came to sit beside us, "Everyone will be fine," Allie sighed, "Everything will be fine." She looked exhausted, I wanted to ask what happened but in front of the kids, it wasn't right. 

Licking my lips I calm my breathing down, "Dimples, Venny, go to bed. I'll wake both of you up when Flynn and Arlo wake up alright?"

Dimples looked at me reluctantly but I nodded towards Zayn, who took the two away from the area, Allie looked at me, "I'm guessing you want to know what happened right?"

I nodded, "Luke Shelby, that's what happened." She said boredly, "Majesty and Noah, had sent out a warning but Flynn and Arlo didn't pay attention. They went for an FBI agent who wanted to be a part of our business but...Luke had sent him. Majesty and Noah have him now, and the FBI Agent who was a part of his stupid plan. Harvey is being sent down with him, both of them will arrive in two days."

Luke Shelby? No, he was loyal to May and Noah for so long, I mean I had always thought something was off about him, but he was stuck to Noah's side for the longest time. Why would he try to hurt Flynn?

Cassie let out a shattered breath, "I hope Stefan is okay...Dr. Jazz had mentioned that Flynn and he took most of the blow, of the bullets and the bomb."

"They'll be fine." I said shortly, "Um...I will be right back." Walking off quickly I go into the kid's room, the safest place I could find, and call Harvey. 

"Dia," He said breathlessly, "I was just about to call you, how is everyone there? Flynn?"

"I just finished up surgery with him, but tell me about Luke Harvey....what the hell happened?" I ask pacing around the room, "Why the hell did he order this shootout?"

"Because of you Dia," Harvey said, "You told Maria about him, what he does, who he sleeps around with...you took Maria away, he wants to take Flynn away." My heart skipped a beat. 

"Is he with you?"

"He is in the cellar downstairs with the other Fake FBI Agent under our name." He sighed, "Dia, tell Zayn before everything comes out in front of him through Luke. You know he's a big asshole."

Sighing I run my fingers through my hair, "Right, be careful Harvey."

"You too," He whispered, "Bye."

Sighing I walk out of the room towards Zayn's office. I knock on the door, "Zayn?"

"Come in." He said, pushing the door open hesitantly I walked through the door. "Dia?"

"I have information."
