Their Room ^^

Flynn's P.O.V.

Finishing up in the gym I walk over to the kitchen lost in my own thoughts I take out some milk, ready to make my protein shake, "Um... excuse me, Flynn?" My body froze, Hunter..."Excuse me? Can I have some milk too?" Clearing my throat I turn around to see Vallie also sitting on the island enjoying her sandwich, Hunter tugged at my pants, "Flynn?"

Clenching my jaw I grab a glass for him pouring him a glass of milk for him, "Here you go." He smiled at me handing it to Vallie, "Here Vallie," He said cutely wiping her face gently, "Stop being shy." Oh, she wanted milk...smiling I lean against the counter watching them interact with one another. It was so cute, Hunter was so small, but he still was behaving like an older brother...helping and taking care of her. 

Hunter looked back at me, "This is your home right, Flynn?" I never thought that hearing my name would bother me so much, the mouth that was supposed to call me Dad was addressing me as a stranger.

"Mmh," I respond, "This is my home," And yours, 

Vallie looked over at me, "Are you are uncle too?" 

Furrowing my eyebrows I stand up straight walking towards them, "Not exactly," I say, "How about we become friends instead?" I suggest, "How does that sound?"

Hunter and Vallie looked at each other, Hunter showed off his dimples before saying, "We have never had a friend, I mean at home Brayden is our friend but he's busy all the time...he works with mommy, but our own friend...you can be our friend." Their faces light up, 

I chuckle, "That's great." Vallie kept her gaze on me, carefully watching me, "What happened?"

She shook her head shyly, "Nothing," I walked closer to her, 

"Tell me,"

"You are very pretty." She said shyly my heart filled with warmth as a smile took over my face.

Hunter giggled, "Vallie, it's handsome, not pretty."

Gently brushing some of her hair  off her shoulder I say, "You are beautiful," 

Our conversation was cut short by someone clearing their throat, I turn around to see Brazen standing there holding Ocean in his arms, "We didn't know there was a party going on here."

Ocean struggled out of his arms running towards me she hugged my legs, "Up, Uncle Flynn." It felt as if my smile had been permanently printed across my face for the past couple of minutes, I had forgotten how to smile since she left and now she's back even for a limited amount of time I felt so good. Lifting Blue I placed her on the counter as she turned to pick at Vallie's half-eaten sandwich, "Share?"

Vallie nodded, Hunter, jumped off his chair handing me his plate, "Here Flynn," Taking the plate from him I took it towards the sink, 

"Who wants dessert?" I asked all three of their faces lit up

"Ice cream!" They all said, 

"Someone else wants to join," Allie said walking in with Draven who looked at us cautiously, even though Amora tried to falsely blame me for her pregnancy, we always treated Draven equally, it wasn't his fault his mother was a bitch, or his father is an asshole. Hunter stood taller as if there was competition, Cloud blood shined through him, the pride, the honor, everything was there even at such a young age. Vallie smiled at him, "Everyone is welcome."

"Weren't you helping Cassie with her wedding planning?" I asked pulling out the ice cream from the fridge, 

She nodded, "I was, but the two long-lost sisters have come together, so Arya and I decided it was best to leave them alone for a while. We have most things planned anyways."

Small guilt began to build up in my chest, gulping harshly I stood up straighter grabbing my water bottle, "Brazen, after they are done with their ice cream, show them the room you arranged for them." I said bluntly, "And Draven, are you staying, or is your mother coming to pick you up?"

Draven looked up at me innocently, "I think Mommy is coming back, but I don't know." Rolling my eyes I lean against the counter texting Arlo, Yeah you heard that right, since Amora, came back our relations have been rocky but we still talk to one another. Arlo and I have begun to do business together but that doesn't mean that I have started to like him.  Is Draven staying here?

A few seconds later he responded, Could he? Amora is high as a fucking kite and I don't want to see him like that again. The last time he saw her like this he got really scared.

Arlo may be a horrible person but he's a good father, while Amora is a horrible mother, poor Draven craves a mother's love, and Allie wants to take him in but Dad doesn't agree with it.  

Yeah, see you tommorow at the party. It was a party for the peace we had between the gangs for the past four years, Arlo's "Vengence" dried out after Lydia saved his life. This peace has been stable, but the truth was this peace was only here because of her...

"Draven," I say, "You'll be sleeping in the new room with the rest of the kids alright?" A smile took over his face. 

"Thank you, Uncle Flynn." He said, nodding I walked out of the kitchen towards the room. Cassie and Stefan's room was a room away from mine, biting my lip I gently push open the door to see Lydia and Cassie sitting on the bed. 

"Thank you, Dia," Cassie said quietly grabbing her hand, "For coming back."

Dia inhaled sharply, "I'm only here for the wedding Cassie," She sighed, "Don't get your hopes up too much."

"Can't you stay Dia? Get an apartment, take the kids. I miss you."

"Cassie-"

"How long are you going to keep them away Dia? One day or another they are going to ask where their family is...I am not being harsh here, but babe, if Aunt Liza was here today she would be saying the same thing. I told her that I would always take care of you, and you told my parents not like they gave a fuck. Come back home Dia, please."

Why was she so quiet? "I lost my parents because of him..."She whispered, "I didn't say anything, sure I was hurt, sure I was lost for a while but my trust didn't break, my love didn't fade away...I stayed for us, for Hunter. It took him one second."

Cassie looked at her comfortingly, "It took him one second to blame everything on me when I didn't even know what had happened...he blamed my parents when I know that they would never do that. It didn't take him two seconds to throw Hunter and me...forget about me, his own son Cassie. He threw out his own blood without even thinking about it."

Tears began to blur my vision, "He hurt me Cassie, but he took away the one thing that I could never give my kids, that was a father's presence...now every day I live in fear of Hunter and Vallie's questions. They see their friends with their dads, a perfect family but our family..." She inhaled sharply, "It was incomplete for a long time, but I gathered myself, I filled both of the roles, and I will forever will. Moving back here...it just irritates wounds that are there."

Cassie wiped her tears breathing out heavily, "His memories aren't the only ones here Dia, we grew up here...we played, we fought, we became sisters here...please, here's a deal. If by the end of my wedding, you don't want to stay, I won't say anything, but...if you do...then I'll help you apartment hunt myself."

My heart broke before they could see me I quickly moved away from the door gently shutting my bedroom door sliding down against it I let my tears flow down my cheeks freely, it's true what they say...one decision can make your life or tear it apart. 

My one decision destroyed our lives, our kids' lives...all because of my one decision.
