Lydia's P.O.V

"Theresa Stalls, she needs another glucose injection Dia," Bray said putting the client file down, nodding I move around him but he stops me, "Dia."

"Yeah?" I say quietly grabbing the equipment that I need, 

"What's wrong?" He sighed gently taking the needle away from me, "Ever since you came on shift today, you have been quiet and lost."

Taking a big breath I say, "Flynn is here. He has some business to handle with Aunt May and Uncle Noah...and I accidentally said something I should have Bray."

He looked at me confused, "What?"

Looking up at him, "He was annoying me and he pissed me off so I told him that I had a boyfriend, so when he asked for the name I..." Hesitantly I lick my lips, "I said your name."

Brayden took a step back, "Why?"

"I know it was wrong." I say quickly, "I am not trying to make fun of your feelings towards me Bray trust me but he just knows how to get on my nerves he always has...Flynn was flaunting his life with Amora and I couldn't help it so I...I said your name. I am sorry,"

He looked at me exhausted, "How long is he here for?"

"Two weeks," I sigh grabbing the injection in my hand again, "Don't worry, I'll talk around the topic if he brings you up again."

Bray gave me a blank look, "Aren't you going to ask me?"

"Ask you what Bray?"

"As me to be your fake boyfriend? If Flynn is taunting you with his new love life, taunt him with yours.'

I look over at him surprised, "Huh?"

"Jeez Dia, yes I'll be your fake boyfriend for two weeks.' He said casually grabbing the injection from me, "And Theresa is my patient stop trying to steal her away from me." 

"Brayden!" I call behind him, "I don't want you to do this, I can handle his questions."

"Dia," He said firmly, "Are you already breaking up with me?"

"Bra-"

"Lydia, it's only two weeks. Chill." He gave me a quick smile before walking out of the supply room. 

Wow, I thought he would be mad at me but instead...he agreed to be my temporary boyfriend so I can get Flynn off of my back. Clenching my jaw I quickly finish up some paperwork for the rest of the clients and their family members before packing up my things. I had dropped Hunter and Vallie off at Aunt May's house this morning knowing that Flynn was there but I had no one else here...I wonder what is going on over there.

Flynn's P.O.V.

"Uncle Harvey, let's go to the park!" Hunter said tugging on his fingers as Harvey lazily lay on the couch, "Let's go to the park!" Vallie pipped up hearing the word Park.

"Dimples, Dia is going to be home soon. It's too late." Harvey said pulling him onto him...I gently smiled at the scene in front of me, as a hint of jealousy kicked in. Hunter was a shy kid...he got that from Dia...his personality was just like hers but his looks were like mine. 

When he came in this morning he was really shy around me but May told him that I was a friend now...that wasn't the truth but I didn't object. As bad as it sounds I'm glad that Hunter is away from me...away from the gang because Dad would have started to pressure me to train him by next year. He is getting to live his childhood something I didn't get to do until Flora came into my life. Brazen was always Dad's favorite while I reminded him too much of Mom. 

"Um, Excuse me?" Vallie said quietly walking over to me as Hunter whined annoying Harvey. 

Smiling at him I say, "Mhm,"

"Can you take us to the park please?"

Smirking I look down at his puppy eyes, "Sorry ...you heard what Uncle Harvey said. Your mom is probably on her way back, you don't want her to get mad right?"

Tears began to fill up in her beautiful eyes, "Don't cry," I said hesitantly

Hunter began pouting, "I want to go to Bray's house!" He cried, "Bray takes me everywhere!" Bray? Brayden King...my smirk dropped as anger took over my body, clenching my fist I tried to calm myself down.

Harvey sighed, "Dimples,"

"Park! Park! Park!" He stomped standing between us.

"Hunter!" May said firmly crossing her arms walking into the room, "What have I said about yelling in the house?"

"I want to go to the park!" Hunter whined throwing a full tantrum, 

Raising an eyebrow she watched him scream and cry on the ground, "I can wait all day Hunter, this behavior is unacceptable. I have told Brayden not to take you to the park so late and he never listens."

Harvey got up from the couch grabbing onto Hunter's arms, "Dimples, behave."

Hunter was not calming down  Vallie had joined in with him too until we heard the door open, "What is going on!" Lydia said rushing into the house. She stopped as soon as she saw Hunter crying hysterically in Harvey's arms. "Hunter! Valencia!"

"They want to go to the park Dia," May sighed, "Both of them have  been throwing a tantrum for the past couple of minutes."

Taking Hunter out of his arms she put him down on the couch, "Dimples I have told you to stay on your best behavior. You know I said that it isn't safe at the park alone-"

"I wasn't going alone!" He cried

"Hunter!" Lydia snapped,

"Don't be so harsh," I cut in, "All of this started because of your boyfriend."

She turned to look at me, "Excuse me?"

"May has told him not to take him out so late but he does so now he wants to go...it isn't his fault."

Lydia glared at me, "Stay out of it Flynn, this is between me and my children.

"You are being harsh,"

"It is called discipline," She snapped at me but took a deep breath looking away from me, "Hunter, Valencia go in your room." Hunter looked over at me teary-eyed before running upstairs, "Next time don't interrupt when I am talking to them"

I crossed my arms, "Maybe you shouldn't have brought Brayden into his life so early, maybe then you would have realized that he is the problem."

"Brayden has been amazing with him and always will be Flynn. Unlike you, he didn't kick us out when we needed him the most."

"Brayden?" Harvey said confused but Lydia shot him a look, "Right Brayden," He said confidently, "He's amazing with Dimples, Flynn. I just think he isn't having the best of days."

May handed Lydia a glass of water, "Sit down Honey." But she pushed the glass away

"You just have a problem that I have moved on in my life,"

Clenching my jaw I glared at her, "This is about our kids."

"My kids!" She snapped, "Mine, not yours."

"Lydia, you wouldn't have either of them to call yours if it weren't for me." I snapped back, "It takes two to make a kid."

"And it takes one to raise a kid." She said quickly, 

"I kicked you out!" I threw my hand up in the air, "And you want to know the reason why? I am pretty sure you already know but since you love to remind me that I kicked you two out let me remind me why I hate you."

Lydia took a step back, "I hate you because your parents took away my mother from me!"

"So you decided to break my heart," She whispered, "Decided to blame me and hurt me for something I had no idea about."

"Whatever," I said looking away from her,

"Why is it bothering you so much that Hunter, Vallie, and I have another man in our life? I never said anything when you told me that Amora and you are happy. Why is it so hard to believe that Hunter and I survived the pain that you gave us? I was so excited to tell you that I was pregnant that night, I had everything planned but that bitch had something else planned for us." Each word was hitting my heart like a thorn... "Are you even happy with Amora Flynn?" She asked quietly, and there was the final stroke, "Or were you just happy thinking that I was in pain?"

Gathering my confidence again I look into her eyes with a blank expression on my face, "I don't care about you...about your newfound boyfriend or..." I couldn't say it...I couldn't say that I didn't care about Hunter and Vallie "I am happy with Amora, these past four years have been a dream."

Lydia scoffed, "That's good, that means that both of us have found our happiness."

"Good." I said firmly grabbing my things and storming up to my room, slamming my door shut, "Fuck!" I scream grabbing onto my hair tightly, "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"

I should have never come here...I should have never met Lydia again...I should have never...I need to leave before I go fucking crazy here.
