☆ Domestic Fantasy - The Best Ending Follow Up ☆

Hi! Uh... Sorry for not uploading in like over two months. I have no excuses lmao.

But, as promised, here is your follow up to the best ending! Yay! Some nice fluff and romance to apologise for straight up disappearing. The next chapter will be the canon/true ending which will probably take a while to write, especially as I'm also writing the final chapter of The Other Side (my My Hero Academia fan-fic which you should totally check out after this) and that will also be taking a lot of time. But I'll try not to leave for quite as long haha *nervous sweating*

"You live in a shithole."

"Gee, thanks Roxanne. Feel free to sleep in the car." Ollie huffed as she unlocked the door.

"I'm just saying!" The wolf defended herself. "You couldn't have found an apartment block that isn't..." She gestured to the cracked walls in the hallway that were covered in yellowed and chipped paint.

"Yeah, yeah. I know it's not the Ritz, but it's all I could afford until I got the mechanic promotion. I was saving for a new place and, well, I don't know what I can or can't afford anymore..."

"Surely the company will not just allow you to be jobless." Freddy questioned as he politely took his shoes off in the hallway.

"You have too much faith in people, Fazbear." She responded dryly.

"Well this apartment is cute!" Chica declared, looking around. Gregory stepped in and took it all in. The walls were beige and boring - some sort of policy, Gregory guessed - but they were covered in pictures, artwork, and a couple of arts and crafts projects, like a woven tapestry thing, a plant hanging in a rope, and a handmade shoe holder. Moon was currently trying to figure out how to get their shoes to fit in without falling out immediately, and they were getting increasingly frustrated. Gregory watched on with amusement. Ollie took the shoes and slipped them into the holder as she scolded Monty for immediately playing with the frayed ends of the rainbow tapestry.

"You like making things, huh?" He snorted as he swiped at it one last time.

"Actually, I made it! Ollie brought in a box with the rope and it told me what to do." Sunny announced proudly. "And I did this," They pointed to a drawing. "And this one. I drew this picture too! And Moonie did this one!"

"You kept it?" Moon ran their slender fingers over the paper.

"Of course I did!" Ollie replied over her shoulder, a little out of breath from carrying a large pile of pillows in her arms. "I keep all of the things you and Sunny make. There's some more in the kitchen."

"YOU PUT IT ON THE FRIDGE?" Sunny squealed, running towards the room that Ollie had nodded towards.

"Shut up, Sun! It's four in the morning! People are asleep!" Moon ran after their brother.

Roxy laughed as she flopped onto the sofa next to Freddy, who had perched on the edge of the seat. Chica shook her head fondly.

"Those two... You want a hand with that?"

"Thanks." Ollie sighed, handing her some of the load. "You and Roxy can share that room. Sorry it's a bit messy, it's an office room."

"Oh, no problem at all!" She smiled, making her way to the office.

"What about me?" Monty drawled. "Do I get to bunk with you?"

"You'll be with Freddy in here." Ollie didn't even acknowledge the comment as she flapped her hands at Roxy and Freddy. When they stood up, she threw the pillows off of the sofa with one hand and dug the other down the back of the seat.

"What are you- oh!" Roxy grinned as she watched the sofa unfurl and reveal a bed. "That's cool!"

"Thanks." She responded flatly, putting the pillows back in place and throwing the covers over the mattress. "Gregory and twins, are you three alright with sharing with me? It'll be a little cramped but it's all I have." Gregory scanned her expression for a moment. Her eyes were glassy and she was pale. The shock of the night must have finally set in and she was clearly struggling to keep it together while trying to make sure everyone was comfortable in her home. Gregory was stressed too. He would have been a blubbering mess if he wasn't so used to the fear and adrenaline by now.

"It'll be fine. Nice and cosy." He smiled warmly.

"Sleepover! Sleepover!" Sunny started chanting, having not long returned.

"Sun!" Moon scolded once more.

"Sleepover with best friends!" They finished, voice dropped to a whisper.

"Okay, great. Now..." She scanned everyone. "Sleeping in all that leather and spikes isn't going to be comfortable. Let's see if I have spare clothes you can use." And she swept out as quick as she'd swept in.

"Wow, she's really like a hurricane." Monty grunted, pressing on the mattress with one hand experimentally before throwing himself on it. "Mmm, that's nice. Not had a soft bed in years."

"It must be difficult to suddenly have so many people in the house, especially after the night we've just had..." Chica frowned.

"Don't get too upset, chick. Ollie will be fine."

"Will she?" When Freddy finally spoke, his voice was hoarse, barely above a breath. He looked up at everyone, inhaling deeply as he did. "Will she? Olive has been so good to us. She took up the job of fixing us. She connected us with the twins. She kept the secret of our human forms. And then even just tonight... She helped get you all back while looking after Gregory. She got badly injured. She shot someone for us. She helped kill Vanessa and William Afton. The Pizzaplex burnt down and, technically, it's her fault as one of the security guards. And now we're all here. We're fugitives, right? We belong to the company. If anything happens to us or if we're found out, Olive gets the rap for that too." Everyone went silent, nobody looking at each other. He was technically right.

"It's too late to be thinking about this." Moon muttered. "I have a headache."

"We've never been out this long. And this is confusing. And I hurt..." Sunny raised a hand to their new scar and their bottom lip wavered dangerously.

"We're all tired and stressed." Roxy admitted quietly, watching as Moon silently comforted their brother. Sunny was right; the twins had never been in human form for so long. It was even taking a toll on the adults to be without the odd comfort of their metal and plastic. She sighed heavily. "Ollie knew what she was getting into tonight. She could have taken Gregory and called the police or something, but she stayed to help us. We can pay her back by not making a fuss and interfering. We'll... We'll think of a better plan tomorrow."

"I'm back!" Ollie chirped as she entered the room holding a bunch of clothes. Her eyes were slightly red, but nobody mentioned it. "I tried to find things you'd be comfortable in. You two were easy enough." She threw a pink cotton dress at Chica, and some black shorts and a loose red top made their way into Roxy's hands. They thanked her and left to get changed. "You two were more difficult. I hope these fit but you're so..." Ollie gestured to Monty's broad shoulders as she handed him black sweats with a brand name going up the leg.

"Thanks, babe. You're the best." He grunted as he threw off his jacket and fishnet top in two swift movements. Gregory's eyes widened at the man's impeccable body and wondered if it was humanly possible to be that muscular. He lifted his arm and gave his bicep a squeeze. Maybe he should work out so he could look as cool and manly as Monty. Would he ever look as manly as Monty, or even Freddy? When Gregory looked back up, his dark abs were covered with a white top and his fingers were tucked in the waistband of his leather trousers, the chain on them jingling as he started to pull. Monty looked up at the room, to see everyone staring back.

"Oh. Sorry." He turned his back to them and continued. Ollie slapped the back of his head and started pushing him out of the room.

"We don't want to see your butt, idiot! Go in the other room!"

"You don't even want a peek?" He wiggled his hips teasingly. Moon gagged and Sunny laughed.

"I don't know why we put up with him." Freddy shook his head fondly and held out his hands. Ollie handed over some grey sweats and a black top before turning to the children. Freddy knocked on the door and entered Ollie's bedroom. The people left in the living room could hear Freddy scolding Monty.

"I don't even want to know what he's doing." Ollie muttered. "Here you go boys. It'll all be a bit big, but it works. Go get changed in the bathroom." She pointed to a door next to the kitchen entrance.

Gregory slipped the soft material over his head, grateful to be out of his threadbare and dirty clothes. He had a large top that looked like a nightdress on him, but he didn't really care. It was warm and smelt like fresh washing. That's all that bothered him. The twins had similar outfits, but with some shorts that were adjustable with a drawstring. Sunny obediently tied them up but Moon decided not to bother.

"Just don't accidentally flash anyone." Gregory smirked.

"I have- I have pants on!" Moon went red and the other boys laughed. Sunny suddenly stopped.

"Gregory, are you a boy?" They abruptly asked.

"Yes?" They cocked their head to the side for a moment, thinking over the answer with knitted brows.

"And you're going home tomorrow?"

"I think I have to." He sighed.

"Will your parents be looking for you?"

"Maybe. Depends on how many chores need doing. I did a lot yesterday so it should still be clean enough that she hasn't realised yet."

"Your mother wouldn't know you'd gone if the house was clean?" Sunny's bottom lip quivered, and even Moon's expression tightened.

"She's not nice to you, is she?" Moon asked softly.

"She's just strict, is all. I have a lot to do around the house. But it's because my father isn't around anymore so she has to work hard to keep our house and to feed us. I'm in bed when she leaves for work and again when she comes back. That's why she wouldn't know." Gregory suppressed a shiver at the thought of potentially going home to a mess. The twins looked at each other for a moment. A single word went through both of their minds.

Rehearsed.

"Okay." Moon replied in that same soft tone that said 'I don't believe you, but you'll just insist' as they guided Gregory and Sunny out of the bathroom and back to the living room. Everyone but Ollie was there, sitting on the bed in various positions.

"Oh, looking cute, boys!" Chica clasped her hands together when she spotted them. "Don't the twins look adorable out of their costumes?"

"I dunno. They're still a bit spooky." Monty said humorously, pulling a 'frightened' face and shuddering.

"Now now, behave yourself, Montgomery Gator." Freddy smiled, patting the space beside him. Moon sat down, and Sunny immediately jumped, landing sprawled over Moon and Freddy. Gregory clambered over them, sitting curled up in a space between Sunny's limbs so that he could sit with the twins and lean against Freddy.

"Hey! I'm not even an alligator anymore!" Monty realised. "I can't be Monty Human. That's a bit lame..."

"Makes you realise that your name was a bit lame anyway."

"Okay, Roxanne Wolf."

"Wolfe is a real last name. I used to know a Selma Wolfe." Ollie said as she entered the room, now wearing her own pyjamas.

"Ha! Bitch." Roxy stuck out her tongue. Monty pressed his lips together and crossed his arms. Chica giggled and patted his arm.

"Well we don't even have last names." Moon pointed out.

"I want one!" Sunny whined.

"Oh God, look what you guys have started." Ollie groaned. "Who wants to help me make hot chocolates?"

"I will!" Freddy responded, moving so quickly that Gregory fell backwards. Everyone laughed as they left the room.

"They're too cute." Chica giggled.

"Must be nice to have someone so smitten with you. Must be nice to be smitten." Monty said gruffly.

"You'll get your turn." Gregory hummed, sounding much older than a ten year old should, flicking through the TV. "You flirt with so many people. You've never actually liked any of them?"

"Nah." He replied with a huff, fiddling with the sunglasses that were perched on his head, almost hiding in his puffy curls.

"What about Alex?" Chica hummed. Monty's cheeks darkened.

"What about 'im?"

"You liked him a lot, right?"

"I dunno. It's complicated. I didn't think I could ever, like, be with him. And now I definitely can't."

"Why not?" Roxy scoffed.

"Well, I can't just go over and say 'hi, it's me, Montgomery Gator, but I'm a human now, anyway do you wanna go on a date' now can I?" Moon laughed and Sunny covered their mouth with a hand.

"When you say it like that..." Sunny giggled.

"Listen, if our resident doofus can get a girlfriend, you'll figure it out." Moon snorted.

"Talking of," Gregory frowned. "What's taking them so long?"

In the kitchen, Ollie leant over the counter with a sigh, watching the water bubble in the kettle. Freddy finished scooping the cocoa powder into some mismatched mugs and hummed.

"I'm sorry, Ollie." She looked up.

"What?"

"I can't help but feel as though I dragged you into all of this. We should have just stayed hidden in my green room until the morning."

"Don't apologise, Freddy." She gave a breathy laugh. "I chose to do all of this. Plus, you followed your instincts by trusting Gregory and not handing him over to Vannessa. Who knows what would happen if you did. Maybe we'd have a new animatronic in our midst..." The pair shivered.

"Yes, I know. I'm glad that we did what we did. I wouldn't change it. But I still feel bad that you've lost your job, and you'll get in trouble, and-" Ollie threw her arms around Freddy's middle, squeezing him tight. He paused his rambling, encasing her in his arms without even thinking about the action. Arms around her torso and hands resting on her back. It just felt... right.

"It's okay. It's okay, Freddy. I mean, it's not. It's shit. But it will be. It will be okay."

"B-but-"

"Listen," She pulled away slightly, tugging Freddy down so that they were face to face. "I'm jobless, I've basically stolen you guys, Gregory's parents might think I kidnapped him. But hey, we're all alive. None of you are injured. And as long as we're all safe, I can carry on. I'll find another job, I have money saved so I won't lose my apartment or anything. We'll take Gregory home once we wake up later, I'll start looking for somewhere new to work, and we'll figure out what to do with you guys." Freddy took a deep breath in, his eyes searching Ollie's. He looked so lost and fragile, but Ollie was unwavering.

"You're amazing, you know." He finally replied with a smile.

"Only because you all make me so." Freddy looked away for a moment, gulping.

"Can I... Can I... Kiss you?" His face burnt. Ollie's eyes widened. "You don't- you don't have to o-or you ca-" He was cut off by lips against his own. He shifted with a hum, trying his best to follow Ollie's lead. She had one hand gripping his shirt and the other had run up his neck until her fingers were tangled in his hair. Freddy tried to stop thinking so hard, just letting his hands fall to her waist and enjoying the warmth blossoming in his chest. Her lips were soft. After a few seconds of bliss, the pair pulled apart, both equally flushed.

"You've always been so good to me, Freddy. And I love you for it."

"You... love me?"

"Yes." She said without hesitation.

"I love you. More than I can say. More than I ever thought I could love someone." Freddy leant forward to capture Ollie's lips once again. She moved so that the counter dug into her back. Freddy used one hand against the countertop to steady them and the other to hold Ollie's hip, his elbow squeezing her knee to his waist. His heart was racing and his mind was completely blank. Ollie had kept her hand in his hair, holding onto the roots, and the other was on his neck, pressing them impossibly close.

CLICK!

They paused, freezing and opening their eyes. Someone started laughing.

"R-Roxanne!" Freddy gasped.

"Oh my GOD you two!" She cackled, wiping a tear from her eye. "Oh come on, Freddy! Don't glare at me like that!" His face was likely bright red at the embarrassment of being caught. Ollie was blushing profusely but was wearing a cool smile.

"Were you guys waiting on us?"

"Yeah, we wondered what was taking so long. And now I know why." Roxy winked at Ollie.

"Well," Freddy coughed awkwardly. "The kettle has boiled so you can help carry them back in."

"Oh no no no!" She smirked. "I need to show Monty this picture of you two getting steamy so we can laugh at you some more."

"Roxy!" He cried as she lifted Ollie's phone and ran away. Ollie gave a breezy chuckle and turned to the cups.

"Leave it. They'll get bored after a little while." Freddy huffed, hugging her from behind and dropping his chin on her shoulder. "Oh, don't sulk now, Fazbear."

"Not sulking." He sulked. She smiled and put two mugs aside, which Freddy took wordlessly.

"Come on, now." She picked up another two. "Where's that signature smile?"

"Hmm, sorry. Your security level is not high enough to access this area." He teased. Ollie gave a coy smile before pushing herself onto her tip toes and pecking his cheek.

"What about now?"

"Plenty high!" He grinned. Ollie shook her head fondly. He was such a sap - just like a teddy bear.

Once everyone had settled down with a drink and some cookies, a movie was put on. The group sat on the bed in a pile, cuddled up with limbs across limbs. As the movie credits rolled, Freddy realised that he was the only one left awake. Monty was snoring slightly, one hand on Roxy's arm and the other tucked awkwardly underneath his body. Roxy and Chica were embracing, though Roxy had a leg over Monty's. Chica's mouth was opened and she was drooling slightly. The kids were pressed into each other in a big jumble of arms and legs, each holding onto each other and leant against Ollie. She was leaning on Freddy, but was cuddling the three boys; one arm wrapped around Sunny with her hand on Moon, the other hand on Gregory's head where she had been playing with his hair. Freddy couldn't help but smile at the sight of the three children looking so much like, well, children. The twins had accepted Gregory as their friend and they all looked so peaceful. So happy. So... Safe.

A feeling of content settled in Freddy's stomach. He was with his friends, he was with someone he loved, the twins were here. Maybe he'd finally have his domestic fantasy that he'd been wishing for all of this time.

After pressing a gentle kiss to Ollie's forehead, he settled into a comfortable position and held her tight. In no time at all, he fell into a sleep deeper and more peaceful than any night in the Pizzarias.
