Ok so in this story you are a Valkyrie. In Old Norse, a valkyrie (from valkyrja "chooser of the slain") is one of a host of female figures who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. Selecting among half of those who die in battle, the valkyries bring their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, , ruled over by the god . There, the deceased warriors become einherjar ( "single fighters"). When the einherjar are not preparing for the events of Ragnarok, the valkyries bear them . Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, sometimes accompanied by ravens, and sometimes connected to swans or horses. Most valkyrie have angelic wings, and are part human, meaning they still need to eat and sleep. Also in this story, Castiel is human.

You had been dating Sam for quite some time now, he had always tried to keep it a secret from Dean though. Seeing as your'e a valkyrie, and that makes you a threat to the boys. You have the ability to decide who lives and who dies in a battle, meaning that if the Winchesters pissed you off, you could kill them without any effort.

Now Dean was starting to get suspicious, he was watching you like a hawk. When you went into Sam's room at night with him, when you were up before them both in the morning. You couldn't get away from Dean for anything.

~~Early one morning in the bunker~~

"Good morning (y/n)." Sam says, hugging you as you flip a pancake. "Your'e so domestic baby." He says watching you.

"Only for you Sam." You respond finishing making food and hand Sam a stack, and walk towards the table.

"Mornin' guys." Dean says walking in, looking rather happy, and grabs a pile of pancakes for himself then turns and hands one to Cas as well.

"They totally slept together." You whisper to Sam while Dean's walking over to the table. Sam chuckles and shakes his head, going back to his food.

"What's the plan for today?" Dean asks through a mouth full of pancake. 

You and Sam had planned to go to the book store today, just the two of you. You hoped that he wasn't going to say no to your plans, like he did so often.

"Just wanted to go check out some new books at the store here in town Dean. Why did you have something planned?" Sam asks, keeping a straight face.

"No, not really." Dean says looking over at Cas then back to glare at you. "Just don't do anything stupid."

Later on as your getting ready to leave Dean pulls Sam aside, and talks to him. Your'e stroking your raven as you listen in on their conversation.

"Is there something going on between you and (y/n)?" Dean asks, looking up at Sam with his no nonsense glare.

"No, no no, no." Sam says, putting on his best 'I swear I'm not lying' face.

"Alright, but if I find out you are." Dean starts before Sam cuts him off.

"I know, I know Dean. Quit lecturing me, I'm a grown man." Sam says before walking over to you. 

"You ready to go?" You ask, following him out the door.

"Yeah, ready as I'll ever be." Sam says starting to walk down the street to the book shop.

"Why don't you just tell Dean we're a thing. He'll be mad at first but he'll warm up to the idea." You say taking Sam's hand in yours.

"Because (y/n), I don't think he will be very accepting of it. He wasn't with all of the others." Sam says looking across the road and into the bookstore.

"Well maybe I'll be different." You say looking up at him then across the road.

"Yeah I hope so." Sam says crossing the street and heading into the bookstore. 

You and Sam stay in the store for hours looking at books and other things the store had to offer before deciding on one. You start your trek back to the bunker in silence, staring off into the distance and thinking about being human. Entirely human.

When you arrive back Dean is waiting for you both outside the bunker, Sam takes your hand in his and walks up to him.

"Dean, I don't care what you say. I'm dating (y/n)." Sam says, glaring at Dean.

"Oh are you now. Is this going to be like Ruby? She turns you over to her side." Dean says crossing his arms, and leans back against his baby.

You start to get mad at Dean, you heard the Ruby story and you hated it. There's no way that you would try to turn Sam into what you were, as far as you knew that wasn't even possible. Looking up at Sam you see that he's pissed off too.

"I would never do that Dean." You say in a low angered tone.

"Yeah but how am I gonna to be sure of that." Dean says standing up straight again.

"Because Dean, she wouldn't do that to me." Sam says glancing at you.

"Plus there's also the thing that says that's impossible." You say rolling your eyes. "First off, he's a guy so he can't turn into something like me. Secondly, on the off chance that he does become a valkrie, that would cast me off the earth. I'm not really looking forward to that." You say glaring at Dean, Sam's what keeps you on this planet, well that and your raven.

Dean glares at you, realizing your argument, more importantly that he was wrong. He throws up his hands in defeat and walks inside, he'll come around eventually.
