Deaged Dean

*Third Person POV*

Sam and Dean are after a witch. Dean being Dean, manages to get the witch alone long enough for Sam to destroy the witch's alter. But Sammy wasn't fast enough. The witch said something and Dean instantly began to regress to a toddler.

Sam looks over to where his brother was after destroying the alter, and laughs. "Dean, you look ridiculous." He says.

"Stop it Sammy! Not funny!" Dean yelled and tears flooded his eyes.

"I sorry Dean." Then Sam picks up his now younger brother. "I guess I'm the oldest now." Sam teases

Dean buries his head in Sam's shoulder. "Pala. Pala. Go ride." Dean bounces up and down.

"I know. Come on kid." Sam carried Dean to the Impala and places him in the back seat.

Dean pointed at the driver's seat. "Me drive. Pease." Dean begged.

"Dean," Sam tried to explain. "You're like three. You couldn't even reach the pedal. I'm driving until you are back to normal."

Dean pouted and stuck his bottom lip out.

Sam frowned. "No, but you can pick the music."

"Talica! Talica!" Dean bounced in place.

"You want Metallica?" Sam asks, sitting in the drivers seat.

"Yes pease." Dean replied politely. Sam was baffled. Since when did Dean Winchester use manners with him?

"Alright." Sam says. He puts in one of Dean's Metallica tapes and the sound of "Shoot Me Again" fills the car.

Dean started singing along at the top of his little lungs.

Sam groans and wonders why even as a kid Dean has to do this.

"I wove dis song Sammy." Dan said.

"I know you do." Sam says driving back to the bunker.

The song changes to "Enter the Sandman" and Dean's face lit up.

Sam smiles at seeing his older brother so happy and carefree. You don't really get to see that nowadays.

Dean sang the song fully and looked out the window. They just pulled up to the Bunker. "Go pay. I go pay." Dean said.

"Sure Dean." Sam says unbuckling him and carting him inside. He sets him down. "Go play." Then Sam went to find Cas.

Dean ran off to the table room and found a knife and a small toy necklace.

Sam went to the kitchen where Cas was sitting with an apple pie, waiting for Dean.

Sam looked at Cas and said, "Cas, we have a problem."

Cas looked up from the pie and gave Sam the famous head tilt. "What's wrong, Sam? And where's Dean?"

"Go into the next room and you'll see." Sam told him.

Cas stood and walked to the other room where Dean was playing.

Dean looked up at Cas and stuck the knife handle in his mouth. Cas's eyes widened and he took the knife away from Dean. "How'd he get like this?" Cas asked Sam, who followed him.

Sam simply said, "Witch, couldn't burn the alter in time."

Dean pouted and looked at Cas. "As. Pay wif me pease?" Dean asked.

"Sure, Dean." Cas sat down to play with Dean. Sam went to the library to research ways to turn Dean normal again.

Dean threw the necklace at Cas. It hit Cas in the face. Dean busted out in giggles. Cas rubbed his head where the necklace struck him. "Ouch."

Dean laughed at Cas. "More toys pease." Dean asked.

Cas went to find some children's toys. While he was gone a female demon appeared next to the boy. The demon looked at the boy. "What the hell happened to you, Dean Winchester?"

Dean sneezed and yelled cristo.

The demon flinched. "Ouch kid. I'm not going to hurt you. I wanted to speak with you and your brother."

Dean pointed to the library The demon picked up the boy. Dean wanted the toy he was playing with. he reached out for it hoping the demon would give it to him. The female demon noticed. Weirdly enough, she seemed to have some nurturing instincts and she gave the toy to the child. Then she took him to the library.

Dean smiled happily and stayed quiet and let the demon do what she was going to do.

"Sam Winchester." The demon said upon entering the library.

'That doesn't sound like Cas,' Sam thought. He looked up and saw a demon holding his older brother turned baby. Dean looked up and pulled the demon's hair. Dean giggled.

"Ouch, you adorable damned brat!" the demon glares at the kid.

Dean smiled to his brother and continued to play with the necklace.

Sam growled at the demon. "Let go of my brother!" He drew a vial of holy water.

"No!" Dean yelled.

The demon chuckled. "Really? You would hit me with that while I'm holding your innocent brother?"

Sam lowered the vial. The demon smirked. "Good. I'm Penelope and I've got a problem you boys can solve. And in return I'll help you with yours."

Dean clapped his hands. "Me go." Dean demanded.

"What a helpful little boy." Penelope said tickling the child. Sam said nothing and continued to glare at her.

Cas walked in. Cas's eyes widen. "What she doing here?" Cas asked. Dean hugged her showing she was ok.

Penelope smiled. "Is the child the only one who likes me? Hello, Cas. Good to see you have some powerful friends on your side."

Dean kissed the side of Penelope's face. Cas glared at Dean and the demon.

Penelope smirked. "Jealous much?" then she turned back to Sam. "So what do you say, Winchester? A problem solved for a problem solved."

Sam sighed. "Fine. Go find Dean some toys first then we will talk." Sam told Penelope.

"Done." Penelope snaps her fingers and a stuffed car that looked vaguely like the Impala appeared. Penelope handed the toy to Dean, who grabbed it and snuggled up to it.

Penelope smiled, which looked weird for a demon. Then she drew a chair across from Sam. She sat down and kicked her feet up on the table. Dean sits in Penelope's lap and played with the car not paying attention to the rest. Cas sat down next to Sam.

Penelope says, "I managed to piss off Daddy Dearest." She looks up at Sam sincerely. "I need protection. Just help me hide from Lucifer for a while. I'll help you bring your brother back to normal. No tricks, I swear. Just help me."

Cas looked at Sam then to Dean. "Your choice, Sam. She can watch Dean and help us find a cure." Cas told him.

Sam didn't want to. His brother had made it clear; no deals with demons. But Penelope sounded like she really needed help. No doubt in his mind she could lie. He needs a way to prove she's telling the truth.

Penelope laughed. "Dean has taught you well, Sam! Never trust a demon, right? Well, he never met me before."

"I wove Pen." Dean said, laying his head on her shoulder. Penelope pumped her fist in the air.

"Yes!" she shouted, then realizing what she did, she blushed.

If Sam needed any proof at all, Penelope just gave it to him. In all his time hunting he'd yet to see a demon do that.

Penelope cradles Dean. Sam asked, "What exactly did you do to get on Lucifer's bad side?"

Cas looked at them. Penelope sighed, "I refused an order straight from Daddy Dearest. I was supposed to collect this woman's soul for him. Great enemy of Dad, hunter, and she stupidly made a deal with one of my sisters. But I couldn't do it. She was 8 months pregnant with a baby girl. I couldn't bring myself to do it. So I refused. But if there's anything to learn from Hell, it's don't piss off Dad if you want to live."

"So your different from other demons. You shall stay." Cas said.

"Thank you, Cas. You are too generous to me." Penelope bowed her head respectfully.

Sam agreed to Cas. Penelope was way different from other demons. She was nurturing and kind and actually thought about things instead of mindlessly following orders. No wonder Lucifer hated her.

Dean kissed her again on the cheek. "Pay with me, Pen?" Dean asked.

"Sure, Dean. In just a moment okay?" Penelope turned to Sam. "So we have a deal? Protection in exchange for knowledge, assistance, and babysitting?"

Dean got off her lap and ran to his room. He sat down on his bed and played with the toy Penelope gave him. Sam nodded. Penelope smirked, "Then you know what happens next, hot shot. Oh, and I won't require your soul if you were wondering."

She really is way different. Sam almost could think she was human. That is until her eyes flashed black. "I can hear you, Winchester." She teases. They kiss to seal the deal, then Penelope goes to play with Dean.

Cas left to go get stuff for Dean to wear and get more toys.

Penelope was humming "Mama" when she found Dean.

"Hey, Dean." she says cheerfully.

"Pen. Sit on bed wif me. i got dis to pay with." Penelope sat next to Dean.

Penelope sat next to Dean. She liked the young boy. This was why she hadn't killed that woman and why she'd risked her death. So that woman would get to have her daughter. So that little girl would get sweet moments like this with her mom. Get a chance to live.

"You otay Pen?" Dean asked.

"Yeah, Dean, I'm fine. What do you want to play?" Meanwhile Sam was on his laptop looking for legends about the witch and how to reverse her spells.

Cas came back with toys and clothes. Cas set some food down on the table and took the clothes and toys to Dean's room to find Penelope and Dean playing together on the bed.

Penelope was saying. "Your going to have to drive faster to catch me! Vroom Vroom!" She pushed the toy car faster.

Dean squealed with excitement. Cas came in and set the toys on the floor beside Penelope while Dean was distracted.

Penelope grabbed a piece of kid candy on the plate. She unwrapped it and popped it in her mouth. "Sweet, sugary, heaven." she sighs.

Dean extended his hand. "Me get one? Pease." Dean begged

Penelope held it over his head. "You're too short. They're all mine." She teased.

Dean was about to start crying. He was still young, so he had no control over his emotions yet.

"Sorry, Dean," Penelope apologized. "I'm only teasing." She gives him a few pieces then pops another in her mouth.

Dean wiped his eyes. "It otay. I good now." Dean told her.

Penelope sat there eating candy with Dean. Penelope had to unwrap Dean's for him. "Hey Cas! Don't hide in the corner. Come join us!" Penelope waves him over.

Cas walked over to them. "I need to help Sam in a few minutes. I got you some new toys, Dean." Cas told Dean. Dean smiled his toothy smile.

"Thanks, I was getting tired of race cars." Penelope grins.

Cas pulled out a dinosaur, an alligator, a frog, a dog, and a teddy bear. Dean grabbed the teddy bear. Dean hugged it tight and smiled. "Tanks Cas. I wove you." Dean told Cas.

"Aww." Penelope sighs. Then flinches like she expected pain.

"You otay pen?" Dean asked seeing her flinch.

"Yeah, sorry. It's a force of habit." she brushes it off. Hell is bad even for the demons who call it home. Especially if you don't follow the rules or fit in that well.

"No pain. You safe hewe wif us." Dean told Penelope.

"Thanks Dean. What do you want to play now?"

Sam was getting frustrated. He'd found nothing during all this time.

"I sleepy," Dean yawned.

"Ok, I'll get you some pj's and I'll tuck you in, is that ok?"

"Can you please put him to sleep? I'm going to help Sam." Cas told Penelope. Dean nodded and lifted his arms up for Penelope to pick him up.

"Sure, I'll be down in a bit." Penelope picks Dean up.

Dean giggled and curled up to Penelope.

Penelope changed him into some pj's and tucked him into his bed. She gave him a peck on the head. "Night, Dean!" Then she went to meet with Cas and Sam.

"He asleep?" Cas asked.

"He will be in a few minutes. He's got your teddy bear in his arms by the way. Hadn't put it down. What cursed him?" Penelope said getting to business. Sooner the fixed Dean the sooner she accomplished her deal.

"A witch." Cas replied.

"Was it a borrower, natural, or a student?" She asked.

"A borrower." Cas said.

Penelope grinned. "Do you know their name?" Her grin was demonic and sort of freaked Sam out. He didn't like whatever she's planning.

Cas shook his head. He turned to Sam.

Sam said, "I think it was Tiffany De Vil."

Penelope's demonic grin got bigger. "Perfect. Just tell me, did you kill her?"

Cas nodded.

"Then she must have a buddy keeping her spells alive." Penelope mutters. "Have to be pretty damn powerful to do that. Was she part of a coven?"

Cas nodded, questioning why she was asking this.

"Good, that'll make it easy. Let me see something real quick." Penelope goes to a very old and dusty book hidden in the corner. Cas followed her with his eyes.

After a few minutes, Penelope cheered, "Found her!" She brought the old book back over to the boys. "Whoever ran this place before you boys, kept a detailed record of all borrower witches, or witches that got their power from a demon. I know it's accurate, because about half of these people on this list I gave them their power."

Cas glared at her, as Dean came into the library. He sat down in a chair.

"Tiffany sold her soul in exchange for power." Penelope continues. "That's how I knew her. She was part of a coven and I'd gamble all the souls in hell that one of them misses their leader now that she's burning in eternal torment. And if they're powerful enough they could keep all her spells going. We just need to figure out who."

She noticed Cas's glare. "What angel boy? Don't approve of me having a little fun?"

Cas nodded and grabbed Dean from the other seat. Dean sat down on Cas's lap not responding to Penelope.

"Relax, she was going to hell anyway." Penelope rolls her eyes. "Point is, we know why Dean is still a toddler. Give me a few minutes alone-"

"No!" Sam said. "They're human! You're not going to torture them!"

Penelope glares at Sam. "You don't know these people like I do. Besides, I'm only trying to help. Borrowers are the lowest scum of the Earth. If anyone deserves Hell, it's them. Magic is like cocaine. One taste of it and they're hooked."

Cas sat there watching them argue. Sam raised his voice. "So! You don't know that for sure! What if their innocent of crimes?"

Dean covered his ears and jumped off Cas's lap and ran to another room. Penelope snapped the dusty book shut. "Sam, I swear, I really think this is the right thing. I'm not evil. I don't want to kill anyone. If we stop the one keeping the spells alive, we brake the spell on Dean. Don't you want him back?"

Sam shouted, "Of course I do, but this isn't how we should do it!"

"Guys. Dean ran off because of your shouting. Stop arguing and help me find Dean." Cas yelled at them.

Penelope's eyes turned black. For a moment Sam thought she was going to slice him to pieces. Until she hear what Cas said. "Later!" she shouts to Sam and runs off to search for Dean.

Dean ran and hid in his room trying to get away from the yelling.

"Dean! Dean!" Penelope shouts running after him. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." She found him hiding in the closet.

Dean slapped her hands away and started to shake. Penelope was hurt but understood why. She knelt next to him. "Dean, did I scare you?"

Dean didn't say anything. He pushed her away.

Penelope was really hurt now. She really fucked up this time. And there was nothing she could do. "Do you want me to get Cas or Sam?"

Dean shook his head. He wanted to be left alone. He hated fighting and yelling.

"Alright, I'll tell them you're okay." Penelope stands. Fighting back tears, she left the room. She was unlike other demons in that way. She felt remorse for her actions and could even cry. She goes back to Sam and Cas.

"He's alright. He's in his room. I think he wants to be alone." She chokes. "Deals off, Sam. I don't want protection. I told you what I knew. If you don't want to do things my way I'm sure you'll find something else. I'm gone."

Dean had curled up into a ball in the closet and faced away from everyone.

Sam grabbed Penelope's shoulder. "Hey, you don't have to go! I'm sorry. We'll keep you safe and you did try and help Dean. I'm not mad at you. Please, stay with us!"

Penelope shook him off. "I don't want to. I'll take my chances with Daddy." Then she left the bunker.

Cas looked at the space she was just at. "Go make sure Dean is ok." Cas told Sam. "Get some sleep too. I'll figure some stuff out. Sam nodded and went to his brother.

"Hey, Dean, are you okay?" He asked tentatively.

Dean shook his head no.

"What's wrong? Were you scared by Penelope?"

Dean shook his head, again.

"Then what's wrong? I can't help unless you tell me."

Dean faced him. "Don't wike fight." Dean explained then turned away.

"It was our fight that made you upset." Sam realized. "Oh, I'm sorry, Dean. I'm sure Penelope would be sorry too, but she left." Sam tried to comfort his big brother.

Dean turned over fast, and grabbed a hold of Sam's shirt and clung to it for dear life.

"What's the matter, Dean?" Sam asked slightly worried about his brother.

Dean didn't say anything. Dean cried himself to sleep.

Sam went to Cas and told him what just happened.

"Is he okay?" Cas asked.

"I dunno, he wouldn't say anything and he cried when I say Penelope left. He's sleeping now, but I'm worried about him."

"I am too. Isn't like him to cry so much. We need to find a cure fast because I think he is mentally regressing too." Cas told Sam.

"Great. Now Penelope's idea is starting to sound good." Sam said. "Speaking of, I think we need to find her. Dean obviously missed her and she's a better parent than the two of us combined. Use your angel mojo and poof places. See if you can find her. Besides, I promised I'd keep her safe." Sam didn't want to admit what he was actually thinking.

"You wove her." Dean said yawning, appearing out of thin air.

"When did you get here?" Sam asked, avoiding the question.

Dean shrugged. "You wike Pen." Dean teased. Cas cracked a smile at Sam's blush.

Sam was thinking, oh shit. "Do not! Cas, please go find her."

Dean smiled at Cas before Cas poofed off. Dean sat in the chair. "I hungry. Pease get food?" Dean asked.

"Sure, Dean." Sam went to go get some toddler food.

(A.N I'm going to narrate what happened to Penelope after she flashed out of the bunker. Please don't get confused.)

Penelope flashed out of the bunker and let her tears fall. Every time she tried to be nice, tried to be normal, she fucks it up. The Winchesters were just the latest screw-up. Penelope walked into a place called Candy's Bar. It was packed with drunk people.

Great. Just what I need, Penelope thinks. She goes up to a bartender and orders a beer. She sits there sipping down the alcohol when a man drops into the seat next to her.

"Hello, Penelope," the man says. His eyes turned black.

"Whose body are you possessing, Dylan?" Penelope asks not bothering with formalities. Besides she hates him.

"Is that how you treat your family, sis? I'm hurt." Dylan laughs.

"Not like you can be hurt. If you were family you wouldn't treat me the way you did." She hisses. Her own eyes turning black. "You would have stood up for me all those times the bigger demons beat me. You'd given a damn when I ran off. You would've helped. The only reason why you're here is because Daddy Dearest wants me home, so he can torture me. Tell him to rot in the cage for me!" Penelope returns to her beer.

Dylan grabs her. "You could've come willingly. Father would have spared you if you just admitted your mistake. We know you've allied with the Winchesters. Even broke into their base. Father wants that information, and you will tell him, whether you like it or not."

"Go back to hell, Dylan!" Penelope struggles to break free from his grip. People were staring, but the two demons paid no mind.

"Not without you, kid!" Dylan slaps her. Soon the pair were brawling. They triggered a bar fight with the drunk men and women around them.

Cas popped up and burned Dylan's eyes out. "Penelope, Dean and Sam want you back. Dean won't o anything until you get back. Please come back." Cas begged.

"I'm coming." Penelope spat out blood on the floor. She glares at her dead brother's body. "Son of a bitch. Should have made it more painful." Clutching her side she and Cas flashed back to the bunker.

Dean and Sam heard the sound of wings flutter and they stopped what they were doing. "Hey, Dean!" Penelope hisses in pain. Her side was killing her. "I'm back. Had a run in with my damn brother, Dylan, but I'm back."

Dean hugged her tight. He accidentally hit her side. Penelope hisses in pain and her eyes turn black as a response. Dean pulled back. "You otay?"

"Fucking Dylan no doubt. We kind of started a bar fight." She told Sam and Cas everything that happened before Cas showed up and destroyed her brother.

Dean laughed. "You say bad word."

"So do you kid and so does your brother." Penelope says testily. "And that fucker deserved it."

Sam looked worriedly at her "Let me look at your side. It might need stitches or something."

"No, I'm fine." Penelope said, almost reflexively. "I'm alright."

Sam stared at her. "No, you're not. Let me help you."

Dean bitch faced Sam. He was pretty good at it.

Penelope sighed. "All right, but only because my demon blood is spilling on the floor."

Cas walked over and placed a hand over her and she was healed.

"Huh," Penelope mused. "Didn't think that would work. I figured you'd burn my eye sockets out with your angel mojo if you tried."

Dean grabbed Penelope's leg. "Up. Up." Dean extended his arms.

Penelope bent down and picked him up. "Is it just me or is he acting more and more like a three year old?"

"We noticed that too." Cas said.

Sam nodded. "Cas thinks his mind is regressing along with his physical age. Give it long enough and we'll have a baby Dean on our hands. Possibly permanently."

"Shit." Penelope mumbled. "We can't let that happen. Are you up for my idea? We don't have to kill them. Maybe Sam and I could just force them to stop."

Dean started playing peek a boo with anyone who was looking.

Sam sighed. "That'll work. We don't have time to try and find another way. We could be too late."

Penelope nodded. "Let's get Dean in bed asleep. Cas you can stay with him. He likes you. Sam and I will go check out De Vil's old coven."

Dean smiled and clapped his hands. He extended his arms to Cas. Cas grabbed him and went to Dean's room.

Sam looked at Penelope. "You sure you're all right?"

"Yeah, Sam. Sorry for running out on you. I really did need your protection." Penelope admits. "Now, let's save your brother. Take my hand." Sam takes her hand and Penelope zaps them to the coven's lair.

Dean just got a bath and was in bed snuggled up to Cas. Cas placed a protective arm around Dean and they fall asleep.

Sam and Penelope were still holding hands after they appeared. They blush and let go. Penelope whispers. "They know who I am. Watch them bow down. It'll be funny."

She walks into the main hall where many witches were gathered. As she passed the witches would kneel at her feet. "Gavin!" Penelope calls.

A lanky, blonde boy appears. He kneels. "Yes, My Lady. How may I serve your honorable presence."

"You've lost Tiffany recently, correct?" Penelope says, coldly. "Yet, her spells are still active. Why?"

Gavin trembles. "Sorry, My Lady. We just missed Mistress so much that we wanted her accomplishments to live on."

"Look into my eyes, Gavin." Penelope orders. Sam watched worriedly. What was she about to do to this boy? He was just barely fourteen.

Gavin, trembling looks into Penelope's suddenly black eyes. Penelope says in a sort of dead voice, "You will cancel all spells cast by Tiffany De Vil. Do you understand? If you don't comply I will be forced to use more drastic measures."

"Yes, My Lady. We understand. We'll get right on it." Gavin shakes.

Sam watched in amazement as Gavin ran off. Penelope was calm and asked for a bottle of wine.

A witch looked at Sam. "My Lady, I know you have reasons for things, but who is this young man? A new recruit? A sacrifice?" Sam's breath caught. They sacrificed people!

Another witch in the crowd called, "Our coven is sacred! Outsiders are not permitted!"

Meanwhile, Dean stirred a little and scooted closer to Cas.

Penelope glares. "He's my mate. That's why he may be here. Now, hold your tongue, bitch, or I'll rip it off!"

Sam blushed a little. Mate? Is she lying, or is that true? She's beautiful. The witch who'd screamed went pale. "I'm terribly sorry, My Lady! Forgive my impudence."

Penelope raised her fingers. "I don't know if I should. You insulted my mate. And that was terribly rude. You know how possessive demons are over their mates."

The witch started groveling. Sam shot Penelope a look. She was going a little far. "Love, it's understandable. What I had done to deserve you, I will never know."

Penelope sighs and leans back against Sam's chest, who wrapped his arms around her middle. "I'll excuse you just this once. There will not be a next time. Where's my wine?"

They never did get their alcohol. Gavin came back then. "My Lady, we broke off all her spells. Have we pleased you?"

As all this happened, Dean woke up to see Cas staring at him. "Pen?" The small boy asked. Cas shook his head.

"Not back with Sam yet. But she will be." Cas said. Dean nodded and got down from the bed, pulling Cas into the kitchen.

Dean suddenly fell to his knees. Cas grabbed him. Dean became taller. Ripping his clothes. Cas handed him a towel to wrap himself up with and went to his room to change into his style of clothing.

Penelope poofed her and Sam home. Sam turned to Penelope. "Did you mean that about the mate stuff?"

Penelope smirks. "Why don't you tell me?" Then she and Sam kiss.

"Hey guys. Dean is getting dressed and will be down in a few." Cas told the two.

The broke apart and both screamed, "Cas! Are you kidding me!"

Dean came down. "Finally. Took you two long enough." Dean said. Dean gave Cas a kiss on the lips.

"THE SHIP IS CANON!" Penelope and Sam scream at the top of their lungs, breaking Cas and Dean apart.

When they glared, Penelope said, "One ruined kiss for another."

Dean smiled at the demon. "Thanks Penelope. For the help with me and everything."

"I don't mind." Penelope smiled. "You're an adorable baby."

Dean smiled. "You should've seen Sammy when he was small. He was cuter than I was."

Penelope looks at her Sammy. "Any chance I-"

"No." Sam cuts her off and pecks her cheek.

Dean and Cas went to their room and fell asleep. Everyone was happy everything was back to normal.
