Megstiel: My Unicorn Got Hurt...

Megstiel request by katgurl46. I am so sorry for the delay, I wanted this story to be unique, and not too similar to my other chapters. SPOILERS: As long as you have seen the pizza man episode and know what an angel blade is, you are golden! Slight hints towards Season 7 & 8. Slightly AU, as well!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meg walked into the motel room she had been hiding out in, not wanting to be seen by any demons that could report her whereabouts to Crowley... or worse, the Winchesters. Not that she minded the Winchesters, after all the times they had worked together, but if they knew where she was then so would Castiel, and that would mean that all angels could tap in and learn her whereabouts. Stupid angel radio!

She looked around her mess of a motel room, before sighing and deciding to clean up a bit. No sooner had she finished cleaning up, then a knock sounded on her door. A heavy handed and insistent knocking being, that really wanted her attention.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming." she called, knowing the door and walls were thin enough to be heard.

She walked to the door, flinging it open with as much attitude as she could muster. Her eyes narrowed, wondering how she had been found this time around.

"We need your help." Sam grunted, pulling an unconscious and bloodied Castiel. He was supporting one side of the angel, while Dean was supporting the other.

"As per usual." Meg said with a half sneer. "What's wrong with my unicorn?" she demanded firmly, moving out of the way so that they could bring Cas into her room.

"Got in a tussle with some demons, and angels, we think. Some of the slash marks look like they were caused by an angel blade." Sam muttered, as he and Dean laid Cas down on the bed.

Meg sighed softly, as she moved to inspect the unconscious angel. She gently removed his tie, followed by his trench coat, and slowly unbuttoned his shirt. As the shirt fell open, she hissed softly.

Across the angel's chest was an assortment of bleeding carvings, sigils, and stab wounds. She traced each cut lightly, knowing she was a demon, which meant she couldn't heal him. He would have to heal himself, once he woke up that is.

"Can you do anything?" Dean asked gruffly, watching her curiously and suspiciously.

Meg snorted under her breath, continuing to trace and check each wound for depth and danger levels. "No, I'm a demon. Demons kill and destroy, not heal and save. But I can treat the wounds like a doctor would, and watch over him until he wakes up." She offered, knowing that the Winchesters had to be really worried, if they were coming to her for help.

"Couldn't you possess him, and heal him that way?" Sam asked softly, earning an angry glare from Dean.

"We talked about this Sam, possession is not the answer." Dean growled, annoyed that Sam wasn't listening to him about that particular topic.

"He would have to agree to it, but judging by the warding done on his vessel, he has it warded against demon possession." Meg said in frustration, relieved that none of the cuts were deep enough to kill her unicorn.

"How is he warded?!" Dean demanded, never having seen any signs of warding on the vessel.

"Could it be like the warding he did on our ribs to hide us?" Sam asked curiously.

"No boys, Clarence has an anti-possession tattoo... just like you both are sporting." Meg mumbled firmly, as she pulled an old first aid kit out of her suitcase. She had been slumming long enough to know what to grab when pretending to be a normal human.

"Oh," Dean said in shock, watching her intently, as he realized she was being very gentle with the angel. "You care about him, don't you?" he asked bluntly, not caring if she knocked him against the wall for that question.

Meg glared at Dean, tempted to fling him into the next century, when she heard a pained groan. She turned to look at Castiel, who was starting to wake up. "Easy, Clarence, you've taken quite a beating." she warned firmly, but gently.

Castiel looked around frantically, as his angel blade slid out of his sleeve and landed on the floor with a loud clang, before he could catch it.

"Relax, Cas. You're safe, for now. Sam and I were close enough to get you out of there, once you lost consciousness." Dean said, putting a hand on the angel's shoulder, preventing the man from sitting up.

Castiel nodded painfully, looking at Meg curiously, as he realized she was in the room with them. "Meg?" he asked weakly, hissing as she started cleaning the worst of the wounds.

"Hey Clarence," Meg said with a soft smile, further confirming Dean's suspicions. "This is going to hurt, unless you heal them yourself." she suggested, worried that one of the sigils carved into his flesh may prevent him from doing that.

"I would, but I can't. I used up too much of my grace, fighting our brothers and sisters, I will have to wait on being healed until later." Castiel admitted with a pained grunt as she poured a a full bottle of hydrogen peroxide over his chest.

Instantaneously, all his wounds, carvings, and sigils started to burn and bubble, making the angel feel lightheaded and nauseous. He tried to breathe through the feeling, but realized after a moment that he wasn't going to be able to. He rolled towards the edge of the bed, getting his head off the side, just in time, to start gagging over the edge.

Sam and Dean scrambled to keep the angel from rolling off the bed, grabbing his sides as the angel vomited onto the motel room floor.

Meg snapped her fingers, making a towel appear on the floor to sop up the vomit, while grabbing a bucket. She placed it under Castiel's head, as he started vomiting violently.

"My poor Clarence," she said softly, running her fingers through his sweaty hair and rubbing his neck lightly. "I'm sorry that made you sick." she whispered softly, ignoring Sam and Dean, as her entire attention was on her unicorn.

Once his stomach was empty, Cas leaned back slowly, allowing Sam and Dean a chance to help him move. "Sorry about that." he slurred, looking close to passing out again.

"Shh... Sleep, you can talk later." Meg said firmly, as she set to work bandaging the newly cleaned wounds before they could be contaminated.

Castiel nodded slowly, falling asleep before he could say anything. His body went limp, as he fell into a deep sleep, a content look on his face.

"Either of you mention this, or how I am treating him, and I will personally make you wish you were being torn apart by hellhounds." Meg snapped, shooting Sam and Dean a glare.

"No problem here." Sam said, slightly raising his hands in a surrendering motion, while nudging Dean to do the same.

"Sure thing," Dean said, catching Sam's hint and raising his hands as well.

Meg nodded firmly, relieved that they would most likely keep their word. She finished treating all of Cas' wounds, before standing up and double checking her work. "You two can take turns keeping watch over him, I have an errand to run... It may take me a while." she said, before walking out the door.

Neither Sam or Dean questioned her, or tried to stop her, even if they had suspected that she wouldn't return to that location for years to come.

Castiel woke hours later, to both hunters asleep in chairs, and no Meg. He did find a piece of paper in his hand, that read:

Clarence,

I took care of all your wounds, and told those knuckleheads to keep watch.

Until our paths cross again...

He slipped the note into his pants pocket, before allowing himself to fall asleep again.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sam and Dean moved Cas to another motel a few towns away, making sure to ward against all demons and angels, while waiting for their friend to mend enough to be able to use his grace. None of them mentioned Meg, even though all three wondered where she was and if she was safe.

I hope you enjoyed this little fic. I have never written Megstiel, so if its crappy, my bad. :/ I am attempting to get back on my once a week updating, so my goal will be to update every Saturday or Sunday!

As always: vote, comment, and request away! Love you all! <3
