A/N: There was this new girl at my school that all the boys were crushing over, and I thought of this scenerio. So thank you new girl, despite the fact that I've never seen you, for inspiring. Sorry that it's short.

Charlie heard about the new girl the moment she walked into her job. The guys of the office were buzzing. "Did you see her?" "She's a 10/10." "So hot." "She'll go out with me." "No, she'll go out with me." Charlie rolled her eyes at their school boy crush comment.

When her lunch break was over, Charlie was looking for her friend Josh. He wasn't as his usual spot in the desk behind her. Fifteen minutes later, Josh came in with a nervous smile.

"Hey, Josh. Where you been? I was looking for you," Charlie said.

"I was having lunch with the the new girl," Josh said.

Charlie was a bit annoyed. This new girl was even taking her closest friend from her. She was going to meet her and see what the fuss was about.

There was a meeting going on at 3 and Charlie was expecting to meet the new girl there. She walked into the meeting room and sat. She scanned the room and found only familiar faces. The room slowly filled up with co-workers Charlie knew were not the new girl.

Charlie was studying some notes that were being handed out when she heard a voice say, "I don't know. I'm more of a Hermione fan." Charlie looked up to see a beautiful girl she'd never seen before. (Eye color) eyes and (hair length) (hair color) hair adorned this girl's face. She had a polite smile plastered on her face, but she seemed rather annoyed. She was surrounded by a group of three guys.

Charlie couldn't stop staring at her. She felt butterflies in her stomach as she watched her scan the room. (Eye color) orbs meet hers. The girl looked at her and she smiled, not in the polite forced one, but a curious happy one. She took a step foward as if to approach Charlie, but was stopped when the manager entered. She quickly sat down at the nearest available chair.

"Did you see her?" Josh said, taking a seat next to Charlie. Charlie blinked and said, "What?" Josh rolled his eyes and said, "The new girl. Did you see her? (Eye color) eyes, (hair color) hair, about this tall? Her name is Y/N."

"Y-yeah. Has anyone asked her out yet?" Charlie asked.

"Yeah. Steve from sales, Donald, and even the security, Lisa. She said no to all of them."

"Oh."

Charlie really liked Y/N. She kept sneaking glances at her through out the whole meeting. Y/N had been sneaking glances at Charlie as well. When the meeting was over, Charlie sucked in a breath of air and turned to Josh. "Wish me luck."

Charlie stood up and walked to Y/N. The group of guys that surrounded her parted to let her speak with Y/N. "Hey," Charlie said. "Hi," Y/N said, smiling shyly.

"Listen, I was wondering if you'd like to go out on a date tonight."

The group of guys were shocked that the nerdy red head had asked Y/N out. They were even more surprised when Y/N happily said, "I'd love that."

"Great, I'll pick you up at 8. Sound good?"

"Sounds perfect. Oh, I'm sorry. I don't even know your name. I'm Y/N."

"Charlie. Nice to meet you, Y/N."
