Preference #24 Birth

Author's Note: I'm sorry. Writer's block. I'm not a doctor, nor have I been pregnant, so sorry for any inaccuracies.

Dean
You enjoyed some alone time in your bed. Dean was so protective over you that you had little time for yourself since Dean was always caring for you. Finally, with two days until the due date, you convinced him to take some time for himself and take a case two states over with Sam.

You didn't anticipate to be struck with a pain that made period cramps seem like a walk in the park. You groaned and got yourself up. You grabbed your bag and phone and called a taxi.

During the taxi ride to the hospital, you called Dean. "Hey, honey, how are you?" You asked through the phone.

"Can't talk right now. Kinda surrounded by werewolves," he whispered.

"Oh, uh huh, okay. Call me when your done, okay? Love you," you said. "Gun it, I need to get to the hospital asap," you told the taxi driver who looked so scared for your well being that you were sure he broke a couple of laws to get you to the hospital in record time.

The nurse at the desk was surprised when you calmly said, "I'm in labor. Can I get a wheelchair and maybe a bed?" You were rushed to a room where they asked who could they contact. "Oh, the baby's father. He should call me any minute. I'll just tell him when he calls. Can you give me anything for the pain?"

Right on cue, your phone rang and you answered as they put an iv into your other arm. "Hey, Y/N, I'm sorry for earlier. How are you?" Dean asked from the other line. "I'm fine," you said, "could be better. I'm in labor. At the hospital. How fast can you get here?"

After four hours of excruciating pain, Dean rushed into your room with Sam in tow. "You can't be in here!" The doctor shouted to which you replied, "It's fine. He's the father and the tall one is the uncle. Let's get this over with, please!"

Dean had to put on some protection and Sam waited in the waiting room. "How are you?" Dean asked as he stood by your side. "Swell," you replied. He kissed your sweat filled forehead and you clutched his hand as a contraction rolled in. "We'll get through this," Dean promised.

Two hours later, you had given birth to a baby boy with apple green eyes and (hair color) hair. Dean was the first one to hold him. He smiled down at David Winchester and slowly handed him to you. "Hi, Davey. You're so big and chubby. Oh, I just wanna eat you up," you said, resisting the urge to cuddle him. "What do you think?" You asked, turing to Dean. He had a warm smile and said, "I think he's the best thing we've done." Dean kissed your head and whispered a, "good job," before look back down at your sleeping child.

Sam
There was a no hunting rule during the pregnancy for your protection. But the supernatural always found its way into the Winchesters life.

Outside of the doctor's office was a demon, waiting for you. You walked out of the hospital with a 39 week ultrsound in hand. The demon stalked you to your car. You were entertained with your keys when he stabbed your abdomen.

You had experienced pain before but this was a pain way worse than normal. You limbed to the hospital and practically collapsed on the floor of the E.R. Nurses helped you on a gurney and pushed you to the the operation table. You were mostly unconscious, but you remembered uttering, "Save my baby. My baby. Call my husband. Sam. Sam. Sam."

Sam dropped the beer he had in his hand when the hospital called. Dean drove him to the hospital since he was in no shape to drive himself. Dean walked in and asked one of the nurses about you. Sam quietly followed, too shocked to do much.

You awoke after the surgery in pain. Stab wound and birth? Two things that should never go together cause they'd cause the birth giver so much pain.

You looked to your side and found Sam sleeping in a chair. He was too big for it and made the chair look toddler sized. You smiled and called, "Sam. Sammy. Wake up." He woke up and rushed to your side. "How are you?" He asked. You shrugged and said, "I'm okay. How's our kid?" He smiled and said, "She's okay. It missed her by two inches. I'll go ask when you can see her."

You were holding your baby girl in no time. With your eyes and the signature Winchester bitchface, she was beautiful. You only learned that she had the bitchface because Dean held her all wrong and she became very uncomfortable.

"I was thinking we'd call her Samantha," you said.

Sam smiled and said, "No."

"C'mon, I was just stabbed. Let me name the first baby."

"There'll be more?"

"Hopefully."

A pause of consideration from Sam was all you needed to charm him with your smile.

"Fine. But I get to name the second."

"Yay. Samantha it is."

Castiel
"Y/N, I read that eating spicy food helps the baby come out faster," Castiel said as he saw your discomfort. You were four days past your due day. You groaned and laid down on the couch. "I am a hunter, I have faced demons, angels, witches, vampires. But I think this baby is going to be the one I can't beat." Castiel frowned.

He leaned down to your stomach. "Please stop causing your mother discomfort . . . Little child." You giggled and caressed the side of his face. "You're so cute," you said to Cas and then you felt a kick from the baby and sighed, "You, too."

You took a nap on the couch and awoke to pain. "Castiel! Cas! Oh my gosh! Crap, this hurts!" Cas appeared to your side. "Relax, Y/N, this is natural," and with that you were in a hospital.

"My wife needs assistance. She's in labor," Cas said to a nurse. The nurse looked to the pregnant lady slightly bending down and holding onto the angel wearing a trench coat for dear life. She lead you into a room and the contraction were hitting fast.

As you changed and had all sorts of stuff done to you, Cas overlooked everything and tried to stay out if the way for the most part. Until you actually had to start pushing and then you needed him for moral support.

"You can do this, Y/N. Push. Okay. Once more. You're doing good," of course this was delivered in a very awkward manner. It was still nice to have him there as you delivered a baby girl.

"She's beautiful," you gasped when she was handed to you by a nurse. It was unknown to you for her eyes were closed, but she had her father's eyes and your face.

"She resembles your beauty," Cas said, softly touching her hand.

"Let's call her Audrey."

"Audrey," he said, letting the foreign name become familiar in his mouth. He smiled in satisfaction when he saw how happy you looked holding Audrey.

Gabriel
Gabriel was pretty good at parenting. He had already baby proofed the house and had you on this diet that helped the baby grow. Then you found out you were having twins and the diet doubled in portions. You could tell he was really going to care for your children.

Anyways, Gabriel was cracking jokes one morning and you were laughing so hard that you thought you had peed yourself. Until you realized your water broke. You gasped and looked to Gabriel. "My water broke," you said.

At the hospital, you were practically growling as you were waiting for the boys to come out. "Gabriel," you cried out when a particularly painful contraction hit. "It's okay, sweetie, everything will be okay," he said, holding your hand. "We're never having sex again if this is the outcome," you said. Gabriel looked horrified and started to beg your children to hurry up the process.

Finally, the moment for the actual birth came along and your first son was born. There was a moment of rejoice in the room before your second child wanted to join the party. Your first son arrived in 5 minutes, but your second took nearly an hour. When he wouldn't come out, the doctors performed a c-section.

Gabriel and your family adored your first son, whom recieved the name of Joseph. Once the c-section was done, you were awake and were able to hold your sons. Joseph, Josh for short, was bigger than Bryan, your second son. They both took to their father in appearance. Though they had your eyes and hair. Gabriel was holding Bryan, whispering to him how much he loved him and his brother, when you realized that he really would be a great dad.

Lucifer
You and Lucifer were pretty laid back about the pregnancy. You were in your 8th month, and you had no diapers or clothes or anything. You decided to go buy some blanket and clothes but you never arrived to the store. You were in a car accident.

Lucifer recieved a call from the hospital and his heart (Lucifer has a heart! Who knew!?) stopped when he was told about the accident. He rushed to the hospital and burst in yelling, "Where is she!? Where's Y/N!? She was just in a car accident and she's pregnant!" A nurse said, "Sir, I need you to calm down before I can tell you anything." Lucifer took a deep breath and repeated his questions slowly. "Okay, Y/N is currently in surgery. The doctors are performing an emergency c-section and are trying to save her and the baby. You can see her once they're done."

Lucifer waited in an uncomfortable chair for nearly two hours. He worried for you and thought of every outcome. Slowly, family members started to pour into the waiting room. Your parents tried to comfort Lucifer and Lucifer tried to do the same but everything felt like a lie to him.

Lucifer smiled when the nurse said he could see you. He practically ran to your room. You looked so weak, laying there on the bed with bruises and cuts all around your body. You were still asleep so all he did was sit by your side and carefully touch your face.

"We think she'll be okay. The baby is premature, but fine as well. He's in an incubator. Would you like to see him?" A nurse asked. Lucifer nodded and he was taken to a room.
Your small baby boy laid in an incubator. He was 32 weeks old. Lucifer sat next to the baby and touched him gently through the holes already provided. "Hey, son. You were born a bit early. You're small. But you're gonna be okay cause you're a fighter. You'll survive. And then you can see your mama. She'll be so happy to see you."

Lucifer went to visit you after and was surprised to see you awake. "Hey, Luci," you said, smiling warmly. Lucifer grabbed your hand and kissed it. "I'm so happy to see you awake. Now, who hit you? I'll have them dead within the hour." You chuckled and said, "My Lucifer. Where's our kid? Is it a boy or a girl?" Lucifer looked at your tired face and said, "It's a boy. He's in an incubator. I'll ask the nurses when you can go see him."

When you were allowed to see him, you nearly cried. He was small. But he was alive and that's all you cared about. You touched his small hand and smiled when he reacted and searched for your finger. "Can we call him Evan ?" You asked. "I like that. Yeah, Evan."

Crowley
"There's been a major shortage in souls this month," Crowley said at the table where you enjoyed breakfast. "Maybe you should put up advertisement. 'Sell soul for riches and dreams'. I'd exclude the part about eternal torture," you said. Crowley rolled his eyes and continued to scan through his newspaper.

You gasped when you felt a wet feeling in your pants. Crowley looked at you with a look that asked, "Is it time?" You nodded and he calmly stood up and helped you out of yours. "Are you okay? Do you feel any pain?" Crowley asked as he helped you onto the bed. You shook your head. "Okay, wait here, I'll bring in the doctor," Crowley said.

One of Crowley's demon had been a doctor in his day and you decided to have an at home birth. You didn't expect it to be so painful though. "Give me something to numb the pain, please!" You shouted as Crowley held your hand for support. The demon nurses scrambled to find something to give you when the doctor said, "Your majesty, I need you to see something." Crowley let go of your hand and walked to where the doctor was in sitting. He took one quick look in between your legs and fell down to the floor.

"Crowley!?"

"Your highness?"

He had fainted. A contraction hit and you closed your eyes. "Nurse, get him out of here," the doctor shouted and Crowley was dragged away.

You gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Crowley was awake to see your baby be washed by the nurses and recieved by you. He was handsome. He had Crowley's eyes and your hue. "You torture people for living, but you couldn't see birth!" You shouted at him when he approached you.

"That never happened," he said. A rosy color filled his cheeks when he thought of the embarrassing scene. You rolled your eyes and motioned for him to come closer.

"Isn't he charming?" You asked.

"A little prince, really," Crowley said fondly.

"Let's call him Fergus," you said teasingly.

"No," he replied. "Patrick is a much better name."

You rolled your eyes. "Fine, but Fergus would've been much cooler."

Balthazar
Your worries about parenthood decreased since you found out. Balthazar had been reading all the child books that exsisted and giving you a summary of them all. Your home had been baby proofed and you had recieved pink clothing from your family and even a baby rattle from Castiel with a note that said Congratulations:) .

You didn't expect to give birth in Australia. You were dripping in sweat and resting in your air conditioned when an unfamiliar liquid in between your legs cut the rest short. You gasped and turned on the car. You drove to the nearest hospital while listening to your favorite album, (Favorite Album). You kinda hoped that if by some miracle you gave birth in the car, your child would be born to the sounds of (Artist That Performs Your Favorite Album).

Sadly, that didn't happen. You arrived at the hospital and it was around that time that you remembered to pray to Balthazar. "Ma Cherie, are you okay?" Balthazar worried. You nodded as you tried to calm down your breathing.

Everything went by fast. There was screaming and pain and then you felt nothing. It was quite scary. You thought you died, but then you opened your eyes and doctors were huddled around you.

Balthazar was the next thing you saw. "Hey, Bal," you said. He looked so sad and kissed your forehead. "You scared me," he said, holding your hand. You gave him a confused look and then he explained, "You nearly died. The doctors thought you weren't going to make it." You couldn't believe your ears. You were afraid to, but you asked, "And our girl?"

Balthazar smiled and said, "She's fine. Want to see her?" You nodded and he left. Balthazar returned with a small girl. She slept peacefully in his arms and she awoke when she was transferred from his to your arms.

She looked at you with big eyes and then closed them again. "I think suits Mirabelle her," Balthazar said. "So do I," you replied.
