You were super bored being in the bunker alone whilst Dean and Sam were out getting supplies for your next hunt. So you decided to clean the place up a bit, you wore a comfortable  (favorite color) dress since no one was home to laugh or tease you. You loved wearing dresses when you cleaned that way you can move freely. Pulling out your phone you decided to play some music to dance to as you swept the floors, it was fun dancing with a broom like mrs. doubtfire once in a while. Swaying gently on your feet as you listened to your favorite lyrics from homegrown.

'Why would I ever leave? Cause I know..'

'I got some good friends that lives down the street'

'Got a good lookin woman with her arms around me'

'Live in a small town where it feel like home..'

'I got everything I need, homegrown and nothing that I don't'

You were singing some of the song as you swept the floors. It felt like you were in another world when you listened to love songs as well as non love songs. Picturing different scenarios as you heard the music was always fun to do when you had the time. As you were swaying softly to the song you didn't notice Castiel was still in the bunker.

"Y/n?" He mumbled. You didn't hear him cause of your music. He stood at the doorway confused as he watched you mouth the lyrics and dance slowly. The movement from your dress as well as your hair, even your hip movements entranced Castiel. He's always had a crush on you after he got to know you better.

So angelic.. he thought as he watched you dance.

He listens to the lyrics that played over and over, interested as to what you were listening to. One lyric really sparks his interest.

'I got everything I need and nothing that I don't, homegrown'

He really wanted to wrap his arms around you and tell you how much you meant to him. But he didn't want to invade your space, he respected your boundaries.

Before the song is over, you restart it again so you can slow dance to it again. Imagining yourself dancing the night away as if you were in prom or something of the sorts. Back then no one asked you to dances because of your rather curviness so you always imagined it withe music in mind. But Castiel didn't know of that, yet the song made him think of asking you to dance.

"Uh..y/n?" He coughs to let you know he's there. You turn around and blush finding out you've been caught.

"H-hi Castiel, h-how long have you been there?" You hold onto the broom straight in front of you as if it can hide your embarrassment. Castiel smiles.

"Long enough to listen to the song" he replies in his gruff voice.

"O-oh" you laugh nervously then turn around to continue cleaning but Castiel hears the song repeat once again.

the songs over already? You thought as you stared at your phone.

"Y/n?" Castiel says again. This time a bit louder making you turn around again with your face flushed.

"Yeah?"

"Can you wrap your arms around me?"

Confusion washed over your features as you stared at the angel.

"Huh?"

"I'd like to have your arms wrapped around me, if that's alright" he says in a serious voice. As if this was some important mission of his.

"Uh..may I ask what brought this on Castiel?" You wondered where the question came from.

"The song you're listening to, he says got a good lookin woman with her arms around me."

"It's just a lyric Castiel" you laugh but Castiel remains straight faced and serious.

"I know that, but I'd like to have your arms wrapped around me y/n" you blush harder.

"He says good looking woman Cas. Look at me" you point to your curves and extra meat. Castiel looks up and down at you and looks back into your (eye color) eyes.

"I find you good looking y/n"

He sure doesn't know when to quit it huh?

"Castiel.." you wanted to tell Castiel that you weren't some charity case, but then remembered that Castiel wouldn't lie to you. He's not like anyone else you ever met, he was honest with you..sometimes too honest. Especially when he's watching porn with You Sam and Dean in the room.

"Alright come here you goof" you open your arms as Castiel walks towards you. Wrapping his strong warm arms around your waist and your arms around his neck. You were barely chest to chest as you slowly swayed to the song, Castiel wanted you closer so he gently tugs you closer and closer. Both of you were red in the face now.

She's so adorable how can she not see how beautiful she is..

Her warmth is so comforting, it really does feel like home when I'm with her..

This is it..I'm going to tell her the truth..

"Y/n?" He gulps nervously as he stared into your eyes.

"Yeah Cas?" You unconsciously play with his hair on the back of his head.

"I like you" you smile at Castiel as he looks at you with adoration and care in his eyes.

"I like you too..very much" you had some doubts still but with Castiel you felt like he could make those doubts disappear at the snap of his fingers.

"May I ask you to let me court you then?" He heard someone say that from a movie you once watched, he wondered if that was the right thing to say when asking you to be his girlfriend.

"Yes, id like that very much" your smile made his day a thousand times better. He picked you up like a feather and twirled you around happily that you said yes. Then once he let you on your feet again, he couldn't look away from your eyes and then your lips.

"Y/n?" His heart raced a bit. It never happened like this before until he met you.

"Yeah?" You hoped he was gonna ask you what you were about to ask of him.

"May I kiss you?"

Yes!!

"Funny I was just going to ask you the same thing" you smirk then he smiles back. Slowly you both lean in to a soft and tender kiss, no rushing as you kissed for a while. It was just feelings being passed to another as you kissed, lips parting and then Castiel would move back only to kiss your forehead then your cheeks and back to your lips again. No one ever kissed you with such affection as he did, it gave you butterflies.

"About time Cas! Alright Sammy lets go to the other room and leave the two love birds alone." You hear Dean say then hear their loud footsteps as they walked into the other room. Leaving you and Castiel embracing, enjoying each other's company a while longer.

"So I take it they knew?" You ask as you remained holding him.

"Unfortunately I'm not very good at hiding my feelings around you, or how dean and Sam explained" you laugh as you hugged eachother tighter.

How cute.. you smile as Castiel replays the song in his head
