Your Wings •Sabriel•

*Requested on Instagram*

Ever since Sam had watched Gabriel die at Lucifer's hands, he had felt a strange sense of grief, and guilt. For all these years he had harboured these feelings, never letting his brother know just how much the Archangel's death had affected him.

So it wasn't surprising to him when he felt the overwhelming sense of relief when they found Gabriel bloodied and beaten, but still alive, behind the dinner they had been called to by Cas.

Dean had been sceptical at Gabriel's tale of being trapped in hell, Cas looked worried and Sam felt bad for all the pain Gabriel had gone through.

Still, despite Dean's hesitance, they ended up bringing the almost powerless Archangel back to the bunker with them. Cas, at least, was happy to have his big brother back. Sam just spent most of his time hiding his happiness and relief over Gabe's return from Dean.

Getting Cas back had been a win for the both, more so Dean than Sam, but having Gabe back felt like a win to Sam. Even if his older brother didn't feel the same.

It had now been one month since they had brought Gabriel back to the bunker and the Archangel was curled up on the couch watching mindless TV while Sam sat in the armchair nearby reading a book. Although he found himself looking at Gabe more than his book, but he couldn't help himself, he felt worry for the uncharacteristically quiet trickster.

He couldn't imagine what Gabe had gone through down in hell, but the Archangel definitely looked uncomfortable, even as he sat on the couch. He kept shuffling about and rolling his shoulders.

Dean was out with Cas on a case, so Sam decided there was nothing stopping him from having a nice conversation with Gabe.

"Uh," Sam clears his throat and places his barely read book on the table. "So, Gabe, is there anything you need?"

Gabriel looks up from the TV with a faint look of surprise on his face.

"I mean, you just looked uncomfortable and I uh..." Sam trails off with a cough, he was well aware of the blush spreading across his cheeks. Damn his attraction to the stupid Archangel.

Gabriel, strangely enough, was also blushing as he shuffled again. "Its nothing, really."

Sam tilts his head, it was so strange to hear such a dejected tone replacing Gabe's usually sarcastic, cheerful voice.

"Gabriel, its obvious somethings wrong, is it your grace?"

Gabriel shrugs, avoiding Sam's eyes. "Its... my wings," he murmurs quietly.

Sam did a double take, "right, wings, you have those, what's wrong with them?"

Gabe shifts so he's facing Sam better. "My grace, it normally keeps them clean and in order but with it being drained...."

Sam's brow crinkles, "do you, do you need help with that?"

Gabe flushed a darker shade of red, "well, yeah, but Sam-"

"Cause I don't mind helping, I mean, if you don't mind." Sam would be lying if he said he hadn't been wondering what Gabe's wings looked like.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt..." Gabriel shrugged, moving from the couch to kneel on the floor. He slides his jacket off, pulling his shirt off over his head.

Sam tried not to let himself check Gabe out. Keyword try, but despite this he still found himself staring at the Archangel's bare chest. Then Gabe slowly unfurled his six wings and Sam was blown away.

Gabriel had obviously fully materialised them for Sam, and they were, for lack of any other word, beautiful. Golden in colour and ever slightly glowing, they rested on either side of Gabe easily.

Sam shivered, sure he'd often fantasize about what Gabe's wings would look like, and feel like, but he had never thought that the sight of them would send shivers down his spine and cause him to want to kiss Gabe even more.

Shaking this off, Sam hesitantly knelt on the ground beside Gabe, eyes still fixed on his wings.

"It's alright, you can touch them," Gabe whispers, shifting a wing closer to Sam.

Now he was closer and looking at them clearly, he could see the out of place feathers and messy sections that needed tending to, in some patches there was even what looked to be blood.

"Should I- Should I use a wet cloth on that?" He points the blood.

Gabe nodded, and Sam hurried off to fetch a cloth and warm water. He couldn't wait to find out how those wings felt under his skin.

Returning to Gabe, Sam took a deep breath before slowly reaching out and gently placing a hand on the feathers. They were unbelievably soft under Sam's hand, and as he buried his hand into the soft feathers, he notices Gabriel relax and close his eyes in content.

So he got to work, gently smoothing out the ruffled, out of place feathers, wiping away the blood and keeping an eye out for any wounds.

It was when he was on the last wing that he noticed Gabriel watching him.

"Are you okay?" Sam asks, worried he had done something wrong.

"More than, you have no idea how good that feels," Gabriel sighs, shifting his other wings as he leans against Sam's side, resting the wing Sam was working on in Sam's lap.

Sam blushes furiously, trying to keep his focus on the wing in front of him. Eventually he was done grooming the wing and sat there for a long moment, noticing how relaxed and happy Gabe looked.

He was reluctant to remove his hand from the warm wings, and apparently Gabe was too for he moved the wing until it was pressed into Sam's hand, his head resting on Sam's shoulder.

Sam moves his hand through the soft feathers, noticing just how intimate the atmosphere suddenly felt. He couldn't find it in himself to move however and continued to stroke Gabe's wing.

"Sammy," Gabe murmured.

"Y-Yeah?"

"So, didn't say it earlier 'cause I thought we could keep this platonic, but the grooming of an angel's wings can be extremely.... Intimate depending on how much chemistry the pair has."

"Huh, really? Chemistry?"

Gabriel smirked, looking like his old self as he moves slowly onto Sam's lap. Sam shivers, unable to hide his blush as one hand moves to Gabe's hip and the other stays in Gabriel's wing.

"Wanna tell me anything?" Gabe wriggles against Sam's crotch with a small grin.

(I literally cannot write smut but I'll see how I can do with at least a little)

"Uh.... Dammit Gabe," Sam breathes as his eyes drift shut in an attempt to resist his urges.

"Mmm?" Gabriel was inches from his face now.

Sam runs his hand through the golden feathers, cracking a small grin at the way Gabriel squeaked and blushed.

He continued to mess with the Archangel, running his hand through the feathers and occasionally grabbing a handful and tugging.

"Dammit Sam," Gabriel groans before grabbing Sam's face between his hands and presses his lips passionately against Sam's.

Sam supresses a moan as his eyes drift shut and he kisses Gabe back, his hand still holding onto the wing.

Gabe presses against Sam, moving onto his knees to reach his lips better. Sam pulls him up from the ground, kissing in sloppily as they start moving backwards, Gabe's wings circled around them.

"Gabe," Sam groans, moving back until they fell onto the couch. Sam ran his fingers down Gabriel's back, before moving them back to his wings and smirking as Gabriel moaned. Deciding it was more fun to keep messing with Gabe's obviously sensitive wings, Sam stroked his fingers over Gabriel's trembling wings.

Gabe messily kissed down Sam's neck, tugging at his shirt until Sam helped him remove it. Now Sa was topless, Gabe smirked and moved his hands over Sam's chest and abs. Sam pulls Gabe's lips back to his, moaning as Gabe shifts against him, his feathers trailing over Sam's skin and leaving a trail of sparks behind them.

"Your wings," Sam breaths as warmth spreads throughout his body.

Gabriel smirks against his lips, trailing one wing across Sam's side, causing Sam to groan.

Sam responds by moving his hand through Gabe's golden feathers again and tugging at them slightly.

Gabriel's shudders, moving his hands down to tug Sam's pants off. Sam helps him and before long the two of them were naked and kissing passionately again.

Gabriel grinds against Sam and...... *oh chuck I literally can't write anymore you'll have to make up the rest XD*

After, Sam lay contently on the couch with Gabe half asleep on top on him, his wings limp on either side of them. Sam had an arm slung casually around Gabe, casually playing with a stray feather.

"Sammy?" Gabe yawned, resting his head on Sam's chest.

"Mm?"

"We should... be something more..." Gabe trailed off as he fell asleep but Sam lay there smiling at the Archangel.

"I'd like that," he whispers, running a hand over Gabe's wing.

He decided he really loved wings, at least Gabe's that is.
