Guess who's back! Kiwi! The leader of the fruit pack! Assemble my tiny fruits! Also, today is April Fools for me and as I write this, it is currently 6:37 p.m. If you're curious, I am in Mountain Standard time. Don't worry, I won't prank you guys, maybe-

I didn't post a chapter yesterday becuase homework and a church activity, but how it's the weekend! Whoo! I totally am not going to start going to Pinterest for gif's to celebrate the fruit pack-

My eyes went wide. "Huh!?" I looked under the bed to see that nothing was there. "Excuse me? Creepy thing, get over here and look me in the eye!" I pouted, my cheeks rosy and puffed out. He pulled me back to his chest and covered my eyes with his gentle hands. "H-hey!" I stuttered.

"Your eyes are mine Y/N! Don't let the evil monster see them!" He whinned. I laughed happily before prying his hands off of my eyes. My gaze was suddenly turned to the ceiling. My eyes suddenly widened. "There's a hand on the ceiling!" I suddenly shouted.

"Huh?" Tsukasa looked up. It just seemed to be peering down at me. It suddenly scurried across the ceiling and suddenly was on top of the dresser. "That thing is like a spider! What the heck is that! Is it an apparition?! Tsukasa! It's a hand spider! And it can climb across walls! What's scarier than that!?" I stood up quickly to only feel an almost immediate pull on my wrist.

"There' nothing there, kitten," Tsukasa muttered softly as he stood up. "Although, a hand spider? You couldn't have come up with a better hand?" He chuckled. I shook my head and pointed up at the dresser. "Can you not see that thing!?" I sighed sarcastically.

"Tsukasa!" I whined. "Ahhh! It's moving! Ahgh! It about to leave the boundry! Time for an adventure, Tsuki!" I grabbed his wrist and pulled him through the hallways, following the creature I had dubbed the hand spider.

Even if I appeared to be crazy currently; I knew that what I was seeing wasn't an illusion. But could Tsukasa really not see it? The hallways were dark. They could be mistaken for an infinite abyss if I didn't know that I was in a school building.

The hand spider suddenly opened a door. "I don't think that door was always there. I don't think that I've ever even been this way-" I pulled Tsukasa into the room with me.

I stopped abruptly. As a result, Tsukasa bumped into my back before we both took in the features of the room. There didn't appear to be much in the room. There was a small pool in the back. The rest of the room had many tables and chairs. There was even a small chalkboard.

"Why did we come in here?" The apparition asked, inspecting the area. "The hand spider opened the door and came in here," I explained.

"And here they are!" A bright suddenly shown upon the both of us. "Our honored guests! He informed me that you would be coming! Curiosity surely does kill the cat!" A female's voice echoed.

All of a sudden, all of the lights had cut out, the room completely back. The sound of splashing water was all that could be heard. For some odd reason, I felt strong. I didn't feel intimidated. Slowly, the room dimly lit up. A girl stood in front of the pool, drenched in water. Her blonde hair falling to her back. She wore a short blue dress with short sleeves that hung off her shoulders.

"Wow! You two are actually pretty cute! He just said that one of you was an absolute demon and the other an angel. I see that they were only joking how, how sad~" She sighed, slowly walking over. "Don't worry. I come in peace! I'm an apparition, much like you! However, you could say that I'm also more!" She winked.

"He said something similar as well," Tsukasa mumbled. Kyler's words ringing in his head.

"You see! I am not a mere human!"

I blinked twice in confusion. "Eh? Who?" I tilted my head to the side. "Say, where did the hand spider hand scurry off to?" I spoke softly, looking around. Suddenly, I felt something at my feet. I looked down to see the hand attatch itself to my ankle.

"My kitten!" Tsukasa crouched down and pried the hand off, staring it down. "Sorry Tsukasa, but the spider hand doesn't have eyes or ears," I chuckled softly. The apparition clapped her hands. All of a sudden, the hand crawled its way to her.

She let it crawl onto her hand and stood back up with a smile. "Sorry about that. However, I did ask him to bring you here after father informed me of your coming arrival," She smiled before gasping softly. Even so, she lightly laughed.

"Father?" Tsukasa mumbled back. She nodded before moving some hair from the side of her neck. On her neck was a black mark inscribed on her neck. It read the number 16.

"I never introduced myself, how rude of me. I am Undine or rather, Project 16," Undine explained. "Father is the one that has helped us all. All 35 of us!" She smiled brightly. "We were all broken, but Father fixed us all!" She smiled.

"Now!" She clapped her hands together. "This gathering was not for naught. We desire your help or rather-" she stopped before continuing. "-cooperation," Undine smiled.

"Tell us then, Undine. Why are we here?" I asked calmly. Tsukasa didn't mumble a word before engulfing ny hand in his tightly, a pout on his face.

"Excellent question! You see!" She smiled, holding out the hand spider in her palm. "All 35 of us are those that follow Father in his work. We all seek for one thing. That is the gift to become human again. So many of us were hurt and broken, but with Father...we can all be human again!" She smiled mischievously.

"All of us apparitions are here because we have unfinished business or guilt. We're doomed to live as an apparition where the ones we love that are alive can not see us. We all only want to become human again. We can get hurt, but we can not die. We're not capable as being the same as everyone else. Making friends, sleepovers, late nights, studying, we were all ripped from our fates!" Undine shouted.

"We were all killed at young ages by others when we did nothing wrong! We only wish to regain what we lost! Some of us are even human. We do all we can do help Father! You both are just like us! You understand, don't you?!"

My eyes widened. "So you're all tools for this 'Father' of yours to use. You're all test subjects!" I couldn't explain it, but the very thought made my blood boil. They could all be coping with the way fate choose things to be. Who knows what lengths they could go.

"That hand belonged to Kyler. Was he one of you as well?" His voice got dark. Undine thought before nodding. "Yeah! Project 5 also goes by Kyler. I forgot! Silly me!" Project 16 only chuckled.

"All of us are failed expiraments. He uses us failed tools to learn of his mistakes from. Kyle was given eternal life. You can cut off any limb and it would still have life and a mind of it's own! Isn't that beautiful! Fathers work is a miracle in itself!"

I shook my head. "No it's not! You are all being used! Why can't you see that. You want our cooperation? Well guess what-" I glared at her. The insane look in her eyes. These were only two of the test subjects. What horrible things could have happened to the very first?

"You little-" she grumbled darky before giving a psychotic smile. "But! You two are all that Father needs! Your determination! Your healthy body! Your intellectual minds full of knowledge! Your the perfect subjects! Father is so close to completion! All he needs is you!" She screamed.

These people were truly insane. There was no saving them. I was sure of that. At least...that's what I thought...

Tsukasa shook his head and hugged me tightly from behind. His chin resting on my shoulder before he simply licked it. "Y/N is mine and mine only. This 'Father' of yours will never get your hands on her," his grip tightened. His arms crossed against my chest as each hand gripped a shoulder.

I smiled meekly. "I'm sorry to say this, but this 'Father' of yours surely seems insane. You can't become human again! As much as I hate to say it, your dream is impossible," I explained solemnly.

Undine shouted and brought her hands up, the water obeying the same motion. "You'll learn soon enough! Father will have you both!" She winked before she stood on the wave, drenced in water before she sent the wave of water our way. "You've already been marked!"

The water soon engulfed us. Tsukasa and I were separated. I quickly swam to the surface and tried to keep my head above water. However, with each movement I grew more sluggish. The waves and ripples of the water were truly a force to be reckoned with.

Suddenly, I saw Tsukasa in the distance. I quickly tried to swim over to him. "Grab by hand! I'll get us out of here!" I threw out my hand for him to take as soon as I was close enough. Tsukasa struggled furiously to grab my hand, but as soon as he gripped it, he quickly pulled me into his figure. "Sorry kitten, but I'll protect you. After all, what kind of cat would I be if I couldn't protect my kitten~" he winked.

There was something about the sight of him when he winked that made my heart pound. His hair was drenched in water, his clothes clinging tightly to his body. His hag had washed away in the storm. His amber eyes seemed to glow brightly. Even in such a storm, Tsukasa radiated a light that was impossible to miss.

Suddenly, I found my vision fading. I could feel that I was on a hard floor. I coughed softly before looking around. "It's just your boundry. Tsukasa!" I turned around to see Tsukasa crouched down. "See! I will protect you! It's dangerous out there, kitten," he pouted.

I sighed softly before standing up and walking to the bed before sitting on the plush mattrass. When I looked up, Tsukasa stood in front of me. His eyes seemed locked on mine. His hand slowly moved to my wet hair and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.

"I'm sorry that your hat washed away," I apologized. He shook his head. "I'll get a new one. You're all I'm focused on right now," He licked his lips. "You look so sexy, drenched like that~" Tsukasa smirked.

Another chapter done! And now it is 11:13 p.m. I got distracted a lot during this, but I did it! And now I must brush my teeth and get to bed. I have a long day tommorow. Even so! I'll still write whenever I can!^^
