Chapter Three, Bitchy Bella Returns
Chapter Three, Bitchy Bella Returns
Previously on Supernatural Love:
The moment the car stopped Seth and Leah flew out of the car to join their mother standing on either side of her wrapping their arms around her which she'd readily returned. When everyone was with them and had quietened down, Billy said a few words as not only was he the Tribe Elder and Chief, but he had also known Harry the longest with Charlie and Miles as Seth pushed the canoe out to sea with Leah. As the canoe with Harry's body was taken away by the waves they all bowed their heads sending up silent prayers to the ancestors. When the body and the canoe was no longer visible they walked in a long procession towards the church where a headstone was added to the graveyard with all the other Clearwaters.
Once everyone had dispersed, after offering condolences to the family, leaving only those who were close with the Swans and Clearwaters (the pack and Tribe Elders), it was time to bury the empty casket for Miles. Moving to a plot within the graveyard they had been allowed to use with permission from Billy and the rest of the Elders as they all cared for Miles, Charlie and Callie. But they didn't care much for Bella as she has proved to be spoilt, selfish and uses people. All you had to do was look at how much Jacob has changed since he spent time together with her. The minute Charlie and Callie spotted Sam, Paul, Jared, Embry, Quil and Jason Young carrying the red oak coffin they had picked out for Miles Swan but would forever remain empty they lost their composure and started sobbing heartbrokenly.
It was the not knowing what happened to him that was getting to them and that he would never be laid to rest. Charlie knelt beside Callie's wheelchair, uncaring that he was ruining his suit, he gathered his niece into his arms letting her cry into his chest as the coffin was lowered into the ground. Billy looked at his friend and pseudo daughter sadly as 'Old' Quil Ateara as the medicine man of the tribe said a few words as white roses and a handful of soil was thrown on to the coffin by each person in attendance. Once all of the pack (surprisingly no complaints coming from Jacob), including Lizzie who wanted to help not liking seeing her friend so upset, covered the coffin with a mound of soil filling in the grave it was time for a bonfire, that was built outside the graveyard, and prayers to be sent to the ancestors to send both Harry and Miles off into peace with the ancestors.
They then shared stories of their loved ones. That was the other part of the Quileute funeral rite: they'd send off with everyone present with prayers to the ancestors, followed by intimate prayers to the ancestors to receive them into peace by those closest to the deceased with a bonfire, followed by sharing stories of the happier times to ease the crippling grief that was felt like a ripple in a pond, as two rare, happy and incredibly kind souls have been lost; and it was felt deeply by all who had been touched by those souls. Unbeknownst to all around the fire a storm was about to hit Forks and La Push with Bella's return the following day, arm-in-arm with Edward not caring all that he had put her through hell the last few months after he had left her for dead in the woods, and neither caring what Charlie had been put through with Bella like that.
They will especially not like that Edward not be able to enter the Swan residence whenever he liked or that the Pack had updated the Treaty the two species had. Billy and Sam will soon be informing them that Callie (Charlie's niece and Paul's Imprint) is now living with Charlie, keeping that she is a Banshee a secret, and that all of the Cullens but especially Edward are not allowed within a hundred yards of the Swan residence in any direction. But most especially they, but mainly Bella, will not like that Callie will be living at the Swan residence permanently and will make the Banshee's life a living hell with the help of her demon aunt, Renee Dyer.

Chapter Three Bitchy Bella Returns
As Edward pulled into the Swan driveway Bella couldn't help but be a little nervous how Charlie would react; that is until she saw the Impala in the driveway in front of Charlie's and her own Ford trucks, the Police car sat on the street by the curb, and wrongly assumed it was for her.
"He finally got me a decent car!" Bella exclaimed excitedly, throwing the seatbelt off while Edward smiled endearingly at her. "Maybe he isn't mad after all! What's wrong?" She asked, noticing the scowl appear on Edward's face.
"I don't think it is for you Bella." Edward cautioned, but Bella interrupted him with a scoff.
"Of course it is." She rolled her eyes at him. "Who else would it be for?"
"A ramp has been installed and there is an extensive security system surrounding the property with cameras and sensor lights, by the looks of it if someone were to enter the house then it's reported to the station. There are also others inside with Charlie...and one is a....complication."
"What the hell is all this for!?" Bella exclaimed, jumping out of the car.
"I'm gonna have words with him." She stormed up to the house, ignoring Edward's words of caution as she threw the front door open with such a force it bounced off the wall causing Callie – who had been napping on the sofa, her head in Paul's lap and her feet in Charlie's as she had fallen asleep during The Rings of Power – to jump out of her skin. Elizabeth, who was staying in the room that had intended to be Miles,' until she finds her own place, that is, scoffed at the brunette.
"Finally returned, have you?" Charlie asked mildly, rubbing a hand against Callie's good leg as he sipped at his black coffee. He was trying to keep a tight rein on his anger, but he could admit he was struggling; but at the words that next came out of Bella's mouth Charlie lost control of his anger.
"Why is the freak here?" Bella demanded; looming over her father, cousin and the tanned boy with her hands clasped on her hips.
"DON'T CALL HER THAT!!!" Lizzie shouted, always quick to defend her best friend, while Paul growled at her causing Edward to push her back a little. Bella ignored her and raised an eyebrow at her father which pissed him, Callie, Paul and Lizzie off.
"Do not talk to me like that young lady." Charlie reprimanded, placing his coffee on the coffee table, and carefully standing from his seat on the sofa. After he'd placed Callie's legs on a cushion he turned back to his wayward daughter. "Just because your mother let you get away with murder and let you speak to her anyway you please I will not tolerate such behaviour from you, and do NOT speak to your cousin like that. I will not warn you again. Edward you can leave, this is a family matter and doesn't concern you." But Edward didn't move, not until Paul opened his mouth.
"I suggest you leave." Paul demanded, glaring darkly at the vampire, his wolf howling in the back of his mind at the threat to their mate while he tried to block everything of importance from his mind to stop the mind reading leach from finding any out about either Callie and Lizzie as Imprints, the tribe or the pack. "This house is now included in the treaty, and you are not allowed to come within a hundred yards of this house in ANY direction and if you try it will be a violation of the treaty. I'm sure you're....I'm sure Carlisle will fill in the rest."
"What are you talking about? You can't just make him leave, he's my boyfriend! And who the hell are you anyway?" Bella demanded. "Edward what is he talking about?"
"I've got to go. I'll call you later." Edward said, kissing her forehead before he ran towards his car. He needed to talk to Carlisle and get this fixed, asap. He was not about to leave Bella in a house where wolves now lived and whatever the hell her cousin was as she certainly wasn't human. He didn't even know she had a cousin. He sighed as that meant he also had to talk to Alice to find out what the hell was going on.
"Who the hell are you two?" Bella demanded once more after she heard Edward's car peel away. She was getting beyond angry at the lack of answers.
"Who do you think you are to make him leave? And is that my car out front?" Bella asked Charlie.
"No the Impala's mine." Callie replied, speaking for the first time since Bella had arrived, seeing Edward had made her blood turn like ice in her veins and her breath to freeze in her lungs. It felt like she could finally breathe now that he was gone. "It was my father's. This is Lizzie, my best friend from Seattle, she's moving here. And this is Paul, my boyfriend so you best stop looking at him like he's a piece of meat, especially as you have your own boyfriend." Callie warned darkly, glaring at cousin.
She had always been like that growing up. Whatever Callie had Bella wanted and her Aunt Renee would always make her give it to Bella unless she wanted to be hit, but that was quickly put a stop to by her parents and Uncle Charlie.
"Why is he here? And why are you here?" Bella demanded rudely. "I don't want her here Charlie! She should be in an institution and Mum agrees with me!" Bella shouted, stomping her foot. Acting rather impressively like Dudley Dursley when he complained about getting one less present then the year before in Philosopher's Stone.
"ENOUGH!!!" Charlie shouted. "ENOUGH BELLA!! You do not get to make demands here; in fact, you're grounded for going halfway across the world for a guy who left you for dead in the woods.
Enough of treating your cousin like this! She does not belong in an institution and to insinuate as such is extremely rude, and I won't have it. Lizzie is staying here until she finds her own place but to also help Paul and I care for your cousin who is staying here full time. Something you would know if you hadn't swanned off halfway across the bloody world. You are a selfish ungrateful brat who only cares for herself and a guy who left her instead of her family who needed her. Did you know my best friend Harry Clearwater had a heart attack? No of course you didn't. What about the fact that Callie was attacked, or that my little brother, Miles, Callie's Dad, was attacked and murdered?
Or that we had the funeral for both of them yesterday, but we had to bury an empty casket for Miles because the bloody hospital lost his fucking body? No, of course not." Charlie raged, pausing to take a deep breath to calm himself down. "I don't know what has got into you Isabella but enough is enough. You are not to see either Edward or Jacob. You are not to call, text, facetime, or email them. You'll only have your laptop for homework, and your phone when you leave the house for school. You are also to get a job to help with the bills as apparently you have too much time on your hands."
"THIS IS UNFAIR!!!" Bella shouted.
"Life is unfair!" Charlie responded dryly, holding his hand out for her phone. With a scream of rage Bella slapped her phone down in her father's hand.
"THIS IS ALL YOUR BLOODY FAULT!!!" Bella screamed, red faced, pointing a finger at Callie who simply raised an unbothered eyebrow at her with a scoff and a roll of her eyes. "YOU BLOODY FREAK!!! WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE DIED TOO!! NO, THAT IS TOO EASY!! YOU JUST WANT TO RUIN MY LIFE!!!"
"BELLA!!!" Charlie shouted appalled at his daughter. He didn't recognise her, not one bit.
"Yeah cause that's my life's goal is to ruin your life Isabella by surviving an unwarranted and malicious attack!" Callie responded dryly, Lizzie and Paul couldn't help but burst out laughing at her dry, sassy wit. They loved Sassy Callie.
"It's Bella!" Bella responded in between gritted teeth, everything just seemed to be going over her head and only hearing what she wanted to hear. Which Charlie noticed with a sigh.
"Bella just go to your room. We will talk more when you're calm and can speak to everyone with respect.
While you live under my roof you will respect everyone and follow the rules I set." Charlie sighed, completely done with this conversation. With one last scream of rage, Bella stomped upstairs muttering curses under her breath before she slammed her bedroom door shut.
"That went well." Paul said sarcastically, making them all laugh.
"I'm sorry sweetheart." Charlie apologised, running his hands down his face tiredly, returning to his seat on the sofa putting Callie's legs back into his lap.
"It's not your fault Uncle Charlie." Callie smiled softly, reassuringly towards her uncle. "I'm sorry she's acting like this. It's not fair to you Uncle Charlie."
"Thanks sweetheart. Don't worry I won't let her near your Dad's car." Charlie reassured, gently squeezing the shin of her good leg. "No one will drive it until you are ready to drive it, Runa." At that moment a piercing ringtone filled the air, it was Paul's phone.
"Oh here we go." Paul sighed, pulling his phone from his short pocket noticing the caller ID.
"Who is it?" Lizzie asked curiously. Although she had a feeling who it could be.
"It's Sam." Paul answered, confirming all of their suspicions. "Sam?" Paul asked, absently drawing calming and soothing patterns on Callie's waist as he knew from the bond, and because he knows her so well; perhaps better than she knew herself, that she was in a lot of pain but unfortunately it wasn't time yet for her medication. "What do you mean they've called for an emergency meeting? You can't be bloody serious? Alright. Alright." He sighed into the phone. "I'll meet you there." He told his Alpha before he hung up.
"I'm sorry I've got to go. The leeches have called a meeting regarding the treaty update." He kissed Callie's lips softly.
"Okay." Callie whispered against his lips. "Be safe. I love you too."
"Always and I love you too." Paul responded as he stood up running out the back door into the woods, phasing into his wolf as Lizzie took his place on the sofa.
"He and Leah are going to be just fine, girls." Charlie reassured the two worried blondes.
"They have each other to watch each other's backs. And unless the Cullens have brought more with them, the pack outnumber them. How about we rewatch The Rings of Power?" he asked trying to distract them, although he could admit to himself that he was slightly worried about all of this himself. But he would never confess as such to the girls.
***
"What's this about?" Sam demanded without pleasantries or preamble. He was the only one in his human form while the entire pack surrounded him in their wolf forms. He instantly noticed that their eyes widened drastically at the vast number the pack had grew to in their absence and the fact they were now outnumbered.
"You know what this is about!" Edward growled; his eyes black as he glared at the wolves.
"Edward!" Carlisle and Jasper warned. The latter's strategic mind could see where this could lead to and that they would lose if it dissolved into a fight, and he would not let that happen. He would protect Alice even from those of his coven, especially as this was all over a Blood Singer and not an actual MATE.
"Ah yes." Sam nodded, a smirk playing about his lips. "Well, you see as Calliope Swan, Bella's cousin, is now living with Charlie and is a member of the pack via a mate bond it means the Swan residence is now off limits to all of you. Add to that, Calliope's friend, Elizabeth Rainer, is also staying there to help her the reasons why are not your concern. But all you need to know that Elizabeth Rainer is also a member of the pack via another mate bond and Paul is now living there as well. Which means none of you are allowed to approach the Swan residence for a hundred yards in any direction." Sam told them.
"To do so would be a breach of the Treaty which, as you know, will mean war." He added.
"What does this mean for Bella?" Alice asked. "I never saw none of this." She muttered to herself but as everyone in attendance had supernatural hearing they all heard.
"You can still see her, as she's no longer our concern as she has made her intentions perfectly clear, but not at the Swan residence nor within the hundred-yard boundary. You are to treat the Swan residence as you do our land, you cross it then you die simple as that. Our Ancestors gifted you your land and we can just as easily take it away if we think you, especially Edward, are not going to respect these new terms." Sam said firmly, his tone hard stating this wasn't up for debate.
"We understand." Carlisle said diplomatically, giving Edward a warning look. It would seem he needed to put his foot down more with Edward. "We will respect these terms and abide by them." Carlisle promised the Alpha.
"See that you do." Sam warned. The pack stood there growling or simply staring the vampires down as they waited for them to leave. They waited a few more minutes to make sure they had truly left before they left themselves. Paul and Leah veered off towards the edge of Forks and La Push where the Swan residence resided to see their Imprints with Seth, Jared and Alyssa following behind them as they wanted to see their best friends.
While Quil and Embry had patrol with the Fuller brothers shadowing them (they were too young to have patrol by themselves, same with Seth), and the others returning to the Rez. They all had the feeling this was only the beginning.
