Mercury POV:

First and Second passed in a breeze and now it was lunch time. I was sitting with the other gays minus Tom he's like the only straight one in the group. My sisters were sitting with their friends but one day out of the week we sit with just the four of us to just talk and shit.

"Merc will you stop spacing out on us" Perrie one of my friends for the last 7 or so years asked.

"Sorry bout that I was just thinking."

"Your always thinking. You over think at times too" Jade, Perries' mate said leaning onto her. I was the one to introduce them and when they found out they were mates they freaked a little because they were dating other people and Perries ex was an abusive piece of shit. Jades dad was homophobic and shit went down. Although that's another story for another time.

"You spaced again." That would be Ruby the only other person out of our friend group who doesn't have their mate other than me even though Ruby is 17.

"Yeah, yeah I know. What classes do y'all have next?" I asked looking around my friend group. It's not many of us because I don't really like large crowds or trust many people.

"I have third with that new English teacher" Ally said.

"Yeah so do I" Tom and I said.

"I Have Mr. Snow with Ruby" Jesy said.

"And me, Leigh and Jade have gym." Peirre said biting into her apple. Jesy and Leigh are mates by the way.

"Mercury? Is that you?" Looking up I saw someone I ain't want to see for the rest on my damn life. I know that's a long time but shit I hate this bitch with a passion.

"Fuck you want man? I could of sworn I told you not to fucking talk to me with yo bitch ass."

"Come on baby don't be like that. This summer was fun I know you know that" Cinder said walking over to me putting her hand on my shoulder seductively.

"Don't touch me bruh. We ain't cool nor will we ever be again." Shrugging her hand off of me and getting up.

"Ight we ain't gotta be cool but when you coming to see yo kids?" that stopped me quick.

"What kids? We stopped what we were doing before school ended for summer and I ain't stupid I used protection." shaking my head a started walking again.

"Three weeks before school ended I came to your dorm room after what happened and one thing led to another ..."

"I recall using a condom"

"Yes for the first three ti-"

"Okay can y'all stop talking about y'all sex lives while I'm tryna eat? Thank you and Mer this weekend your going to see them kids to make sure their yours. You should be able to tell by their scent. They should smell like they parents." Ally said looking at me.

"But Al-" I shut up real quick when she glared at me. Ally is the sweetest person you will meet but DO NOT upset her or make her mad.

"Yes ma'am" I said sitting back down. "will you go with me tho?"

"Yes. And your in trouble with all the cussing you were doing just a second ago"

"But-"

"But nothing Mercury Roman Rydel Bast" she said sternly. She ain't even have to put my government out like that. That's just mean.

"You ain't have to say my government like that" walking down the hall to third block as we got closer to third block Ally seemed to get more and more tense as we got closer.

"Als, what's wrong?" Tom asked looking a little worried.

"That energy from first block?" she asked her hands trembling a little.

"The demonic one? Yeah what about it?" I asked.

"It's coming from the class we're about to enter."

"Well that's gonna make for an interesting school year" Tom said still looking worried. Walking into the room I saw a beautiful red head in a beige pencil skirt that fit her body perfectly making her ass look great. A grey blouse tucked into the pencil skirt that fit just as perfectly as the skirt with a button or two from the top unbuttoned showing a little cleavage. She wore black heels that made her legs look longer than they were. Looking up from her legs following her curves up to her face to see red lipstick and finally meeting her green eyes. Averting my eyes when we stared for too long.

"Is the great Mercury Bast blushing?!" Tom exclaimed.

"No. I don't blush you must be seeing things. Plus I'm to dark for it to show IF i ever were to blush." Looking around the room I see three seats in the middle more toward the back. Ally sees where I'm looking and walks over followed by me and Tom.

"Do you know who it is? The energy?" I asked Ally as we sat down her in the middle of me and Tom.

"Yes. It's coming from-"

"Okay class I know it's the first day and all of that so all we will be doing is a small getting to know you project. I'm going to give all of you this sheet with about 10 questions about yourself on it. Answer them with the correct spelling and punctuation and it's an easy 100 to start the year off but for every 5 misspelling or wrong punctuation is 5 points off. And I want full sentences." the teacher who still hasn't introduced herself to us.

"Um .. Miss" a student by the name of Craig said asking for her name in a way.

"Oh, yes my name is Ms. Johansson."

"Ms. as in no partner?" another student named Brad said from in the front of the class damn near drooling over her. That pissed me off. Why? I don't know. I'll just say because he was looking at her like a piece of meat. Something to know about Bread I mean Brad is that he's a fuckboy has been since middle school. He's hit on every girl and female staff of the school. And he's an asshole and a bully.

"Thanks none of your concerns young man. Now after I pass out the papers I'm going to call roll while you work." she went to her desk and picked up a stack of paper and gave some to each person in the front of each roll. As she passed Bread the papers he reached for her but she side stepped and kept walking passing out the papers.

"Alright while you all work on that don't make a lot of noise so you can hear me call roll." she said walking to her desk.
