Mercury's POV

"Merc wake your ass up shit we gotta get to school its the first day and I ain't tryna be late" I heard Masana yelled through my door.

"Girl if you don't stop damn yelling I know something" my step mom Alicia said from what I'm assuming downstairs. I get up and go to my en suite bathroom and take a shower washing my ass and all that. After getting out I brush my teeth and washed my face then got dressed. I walk out my room and locked the door then go down the stairs to the kitchen to grab something to eat.

"Nah bitch you don't get to eat since you don't wanna wake up on time." Mesi hoe ass said grabbing my bagel out my hand and biting it.

"Bitch I know damn well you ain't just ta-"

"Come on niggas we gotta go damn y'all aggravating as hell" Aiden ass said walking to the garage and unlocking her car.

"Imma drive my car today cuz I got something to do after school" I said walking to my matte black 2019 Ford Mustang GT.

"What could you have to do on the first day of school" Aiden asked.

"Don't worry bout dat youngin."

"Nigga I'm only like a month and a half younger than you."

"But I'm still older am I not?"

"Man ain't nobody finna argue with yo king kong looking ass." Mesi said getting in the car with Aiden and Masana. Then they pulled out with me right behind them. Stopping at a red light I turn my music on turning it up. Overtime by Bryson Tiller came on and I just started blurting out the lyrics.

"I'VE BEEN WORKING ON IT, PUTTING IN OVERTIME
PUTTING OVERTIME, PUTTING IN OVER
I'VE BEEN PUTTING IN WO-"

"Honk" Damn when the light turn green. Driving five song later I pull up to The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. Young my ass some of these people are hundreds of years old still in high school. Like bitch you can't be that damn stupid can you?

"Merc bring you ass on." Again Masana rushes me.

"Ana why you always rushing me."

"Cuz you slow and like to space out."

"We all space out I just do it the most"

"Yo what's y'all first class again?" Aiden asked walking ahead of us. Something you should know about Aiden is that she's the quiet mysterious one outta us. She don't really talk to people like that but she the friendliest one outta us other than Ana.

"I got that pervert Prince first block with Mesi." Something to know about the twins. They damn near always together. Unless it's sleeping, hanging with friends or in the bathroom. I slick blame dad for that cuz he wouldn't do nothing with them separately and it was always you can't do this or that without your sister. But I'm glad that they so close. It makes me worry less when they go out without me or Aiden because they got each other.

"Damn Mes don't let him near Ana this year that nigga almost got killed last year I can't believe he still work here like damn how many people gotta report his ass?" Aiden said she seem a lil mad but I understand why Prince always tryna touch on the feminine females and shit. And last year he tried that shit with Ana I swear if some of our firends ain't hold us back that nigga would be dead. He got the message though our family and friends off fucking limits and if we catch him doing it to others period his ass dead.

"I got gym" I said walking with them to Prince class.

"Man I got some new teacher foreign language teacher." Aiden said shrugging.

"Oh what's the name I think I got that teacher forth"

"Ion know how to pronounce this shit. It's a language we ain't learn yet." When Aiden got done talking we were at Prince door. He was standing at the door greeting students and looking at some of the girls. Mes, Den, and I glared at him when he looked at Ana. As Mesi walked by him we heard her whisper something along the lines of 'You look at her the wrong way ain't nobody saving you from us'

"That's a fact bitch nigga" I said turning around. Den just stared at him as we walked away. Nodding at Aiden I walk in the opposite directions as her to get to gym. Walking over I take a seat on the bleachers. Taking out my phone I see a text from my best friend Tom.

Anime Nerd 🤓: Yeah I'm in gym right now wbu?

Spidergeek 🕷🕸: So am I. Wya?

Anime Nerd 🤓: I just came in a few minutes ago so I'm at the bottom. Where's Jesus Freak at btw?

Spidergeek 🕷🕸: I'm at the top come up here and she's sitting next to me.

Anime Nerd 🤓🍱: Ik she feel her pocket vibrating.

Sending that last text I got up and started walking up there. I'm not walking up the bleachers not paying attention so I can fall and buss my ass no ma'am.

"Hey Ro how was your last week of summer without your best friends?" Tom asked

"I actually got sleep without y'all bothering me ever 12 seconds."

"You know you missed us especially Allysin" Tom said winking. The thing about Ally and I's relationship is until just recently we were more than best friends. You could say after our break up we became friends with benefits and the only person that knew was Tom. But we stopped just a couple of weeks before school started back. It was fun while it lasted but it's better to have our friendship back. Some people still think we're dating but everyone we're close to know better probably cause Ally found her mates.

"Have either of you talked to the other gays?" I asked.

"Yeah Perrie, Jesy and Ruby have first with this new English teacher and Leigh and Jade have first with Mr. Snow" Ally said looking around the gym. Mr. Snow is a cool ass teacher like he don't give a damn as long as you do your work and don't fuck with his daughters or you will fail.

"I think I got Snow for last block. And what's this new teachers name?"

"I think it's something with a J or whatever. Something like Johnson or something." Tom said looking at Ally strangely.

"Ally? You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah I just feel this strong demonic energy some angel and fae energy."

"Does it feel hostile?" I asked.

"It's a demon dumb ass of course it does but it seems the angel and fae in them calms down the demon"

"Not all demon or sub demons are bad Als you're proof"

"Yeah well tell that to my mother and father. I know that they weren't but at the time those matching weren't welcomed"

"Als you can't hate all demons forever. One day your gonna have to realize just like there are bad Angels there are good demons. I know you remember what your mom used to tell you" Tom said holding her hand.

"Yeah" Ally has been through a lot and Tom and I were the only ones who stayed with her through it. We helped her out of it an back to being the light she is.
