//I'm scared.\\

Lights flashed brightly behind the squeezed lids of your eyes. A short, irritating buzz deafened your left ear and left your right ear muffled.
The voices above sounded miles away, almost like whoever was speaking was underwater. Something heavy and cold was interjecting through your chest and pinning you against the once safe leather seats.
Your ankle shot white hot pain up your calf, and your joints were weak and broken as if they needed oil. You felt numb and distant, your eyes closed, but you were still aware, just...barely there.
You finally managed to flicker open the smallest gap between your eyes. Your eyes were blurred, and through it you could see a fogged face staring at you.
Each time you blinked, it got harder to keep open your eyes; the surroundings started to clear up, but the more it cleared, the dizzier you got.
You finally came to your sights, being able to put together your big brother's worried face in front of you.
"(Y/n). Oh, thank god. Sammy! She's awake!''Dean yelled, his hands cupping your cut cheeks.
''D-you started, lips dry and throat scratchy as if you had been swallowing sandpaper. His thumbs brushed tenderly over your skin, eyes wide and blown full of panic.
''Don't talk, Sweetheart''Dean whispered, his breath fanning your face as he tried to assess the damage. Sam came bounding next to him, his eyes just as problematic.
Your head lulled to the side of the seat, blood dripping out your ear and nose as you blinked heavily.
''S'mmy''You squeaked, smacking your dry lips together and closing your eyes.
''I'm right here, baby. Open your eyes." Sam panics, tapping your cheek. Your eyes fluttered back open though it was hard. ''Stay awake now, (Y/n). You understand me''Sam whispered, his voice laced with fear.
''I-I keep my eyes...o-open''You jutted, trying to moisten your crackled lips.
''The poles going right through her chest, Sammy''Dean mumbled, his voice shaky as he traced his finger across the hole. ''We need to get it out then stop as much bleeding as possible," Dean instructed.
The next few minutes were a blur with pain. You cried and screamed, your foot twitching as a nerve struck. Sam cried as he tried to calm you but having a thick pole yanked out of your chest wasn't the most excellent feeling.
As soon as the burning sensation left your chest, you felt a weird dripping, something gushing out of your chest swiftly.
You were lifted much to your despair and placed on the ground. Sam's hands kept a pillow under your head, kneeling behind you as Dean tried his best to stop the bleeding.
''The ambulance will be here soon, buddy. Hold on''Sam coaxed, running his slender fingertips through your hair.
''S'mmy. H-hurt's," you cried, coughing and choking as blood spilled out of your mouth. Sam shared a panicked look with Dean before he wiped away the blood and nodded.
''I know, sweetie. You're going to be okay, though. Alright''Sam whispered, looking up as tears streamed down his cheeks.
''Darling, we ain't going to let anything happen to you. We're not losing you''Dean nodded sternly though you could pick out the broken pieces.
''D-Dean''You whimpered, coughing more. ''Are you proud of me?''You whispered, trying to look up at him, but Sam eased you back down.
''What?'' He gaped slightly, his brows furrowing. ''Baby, of course, I'm proud of you. You're the best damn hunter I know. Better than Sammy and I, you're better than anyone I've ever met. You are better than dad. I've never been so proud of anyone, kiddo''Dean nodded, his eyes catching Sam, who was still crying.
Dean finally let a few tears slip as he looked away and tried to compose himself for his younger siblings.
"(Y/n), keep your eyes open''Sam, pleaded, shuffling so your head was sitting on his lap.
"Where the hell is that damn ambulance!''Dean yelled, his emotions overwhelming him. You started to spit, crying out when Sam had to lift you so you didn't choke on your blood.
You began to bawl hysterically, going to hold your stomach, but Dean brushed your hands away with a guilty expression.
''Shh, I know, buddy. I know." Sam soothed, closing his eyes as he tried to compose himself, but it was just too hard.
''Dean''You grunted, sniffling loudly as you turned your head to see him. Dean swallowed thickly, taking a few seconds before finally building up the courage to look at your broken face.
''Yeah, kiddo?''He whispered, not caring anymore that he was crying freely in front of the both of you.
''I-I'm scared''You whimpered, coughing and hacking again.
''Don't be scared. Don't you dare think anything's going to happen to you? You've got nothing to be afraid of; you hear me''Dean grunted, his fingers reaching out and rubbing your shoulder.
You nodded, but they both could tell it hadn't worked. Sam sighed, leaning forward and kissing your forehead. He used the back of his hand to gently stroke delicate patterns on your cheek as his other hand ran through your hair.
"(N/n). You remember when you were seven years old, and you climbed that tree outside of Bobby's. You remember how we couldn't find you, so we ran in circles, trying to find you, and Dean- Dean started to sweat. I had never seen him so panicked before. We had looked everywhere for you but then what happened?"Sam hummed, swallowing back his fresh round of tears as he looked down at you.
''Y-you found me," you whispered, voice hoarse and tired. You were no longer crying or screaming, no longer squirming and cringing, and that was a horrible sign.
''That's right. We found you because we're always going to find you. Then do you remember how after you had given Dean a heart attack when he saw how high up you went, you went to the top because you weren't scared? You were the most fearless, brave little kid I had met. Do you remember what happened when you tripped and started to fall?''Sam asked again.
''You c-caught me." you smiled softly, your face no longer scrunched up in pain as memories started to flicker through your mind.
''Because we'll always catch you when you fall." dean whispered, finishing Sam's sentence.
