Y/n pov

You wake up to an unfamiliar face. "Hello?" You asked in a shaky voice, your voice horse from lack of water. The handsome man holding your hand whilst on his knees beside you looked up. He had tears in his eyes and you could tell he needed to tell you something. "Hello y/n my name is Derek and this isn't gonna make any sense to you but you're my mate. I don't know if you know what that is and you probably think I'm crazy but please here me out." The pleading in his voice made you want to know more on mates and why he was so nervous. You could feel his hands shaking on yours. "It's OK Derek you can tell me more. I will listen and I'm obviously staying put." You said with a slight chuckle to try to lighten the mood up. He looks up at you in awe, like you were his treasure. It made you heart flutter and butterflies appear in your stomach. "OK I'm going do something that may shock and scare you ok." He looks at you waiting for your approval, you nod your head. He looks down groaning in pain when he does, you can see what appears to be fur forming. His ears have grown bigger and they look almost like elves ears. He looks up at you his teeth like a dog's and his eyes glowing a blue color. You were shocked to say the least but something inside of you had an instinct to reach out and touch him. To let him know that you accept him for who and all that he is. He looked up at you and started to cry. He held onto him like your life depended on it. You started crying to. You kept crying until you noticed a pack of people standing put in the hallway. And they were staring into your room directly at you guys. Like that's not creepy at all. "Uhh....Derek not to ruin the moment but there are a lot of guys staring into our room." He turned around only to see Scott, Stiles, Liam, Aidan, Ethan, Allison, Lydia, Malila, Kiara, and Issac. "That's sort of my pack. I'm sorry in advance." You didn't know what that meant but oh well you were about to find out. He got up off the floor kissed your hand and unlocked the door. People all running in at once. You could sit up but not actually move because of the machines. You started to get a little frightened so the heart monitor started beeping heavier. Derek noticed as he could smell your anxiety and quickly ran over to you to calm you down. "Hey
Y/n don't be nervous it'll be ok." He said to you in a soothing voice. It was then your heart rate went back to its normal pace. "Y/n this is my pack, pack this is y/n my mate." He said stunning everyone. They don't make a sound after that until they all came up to you. Asking you questions but one at a time so you didn't feel overwhelmed. Someone touched your hand and you picked it up not thinking about the scars on your wrist you were showing off. Derek looked like he was gonna cry again. "Derek it's OK it's in the past now." You said he came over to you  and you hugged him.

You have now been realized after a week in the hospital. None of the pack left because of Derek. At least you thought it was just because of him. He helped you up and you were able to walk out into the hallway before falling on the floor. "Mother fu*ker!!" You yelled really feeling your sprained ankle. "I forgot I had to use crutches. Can you please grab them for me?" "Yeah hold on I'll be right back." "So you're gonna leave me here on the floor?" He was already in the room while you said that. "Awesome," you said sarcasm dripping off your tongue. Stiles snorted "you sound exactly like him." You had learned all the packs names on the second day. It took you awhile to comprehend all of their names. You had accidentally called Stiles Miguel. (I hope whoever watches the show laughes at that.) "I'm back, do you need help getting up." "Nope I just planned on sitting here all day." Derek leans the crutches against the wall and picks you up by your arm pits. You started laughing and thrashing around. He looked down at you like you were a crazy person. "Sorry it's not my fault I'm ticklish there." He laughs at you while you get the other crutch beneath your right arm. You walk with him to the car people following behind. You guys sit in the front seat since Derek had to drive. He wasn't gonna let anyone in the car with you guys. ⚠👉👌 You guys pull over halfway there and he just kisses you passionately.  You start to mean really loud when he starts kissing your neck.
