So this imagine is going to be about how the reader and, Gabriel first met like a flash back and, then to their present life.... Btw I hope the picture is good no idea what it looks like.... So you were on your way to your favorite candy store, it was now a lot closer to you and, you just had to turn a corner to get some yummy chocolate. It was called Heavenly candy ( idk if that's an actual place or not i just made it the title up now.) You had been going there since you were only 8 years old. Your mom had introduced it to you. she said to you one day "this is my heavenly place," she would say with a sigh. You knew for her it was a place to get away from your drunken and, cheating father. You would stay there for hours on and, you were a regular costumer. The man at the register wore a white chiefs hat and, a black and, white apron normally stained with fresh chocolate or Carmel. He looked at you if he had almost knew the situation going on at home. Some days your mom wouldn't have enough money and, he would take pity and, give you a freshly made cherry chocolate. your mom would cry at the kind gesture the man made. you kept thinking about that just as you turned the corner. Your mom had passed away a year ago and, you would visit the place everyday posthumously. The man at the registers name was Charles you later found out. You really do miss your mom some days worse then others. "Hey Charles," you greeted as you walked into the candy shop. The bitter weather still nipping at your nose. Your cheeks were a red rosy color and, your nose was pink. "Hey y/n how are you doing this fine morning?" he says with a big grin on his face. "To be honest I'm a little cold but, nothing some warm chocolate wont fix." You say reaching into your purse to grab a twenty dollar bill out. He puts on plastic gloves and, reaches onto the pan filled with chocolates. "Y/n you better put, that money away! You know you don't have to pay no more girl." He says I know but, still I want to." You finally drop the twenty into the tip jar after his refusal to take your money. You heard the bell ring, signaling a new costumer had arrived. Charles grin faded from his face momentarily. Then he had realized that he had a costume and, his smile had returned. " Hello welcome to Heavenly candy, holler if you need anything." He said with a big grin before turning back to his chocolates. You turned around to meet the face of the guy who had just walked in. He has dirty blonde hair, whiskey in the sun colored eyes, and, a big grin. He went to reach for the newest brand of chocolates you hadn't tried them yet and, it was the last bag. They were peppermint, cherry, and, vanilla sugar chocolates. " excuse me sir umm my names y/n and, I was wondering if i could pay you for those chocolates you have there?" You asked with a hopeful and, sheepish look on your face. "No miss I am sorry but, I haven't tried them yet but, I will be wiling to share for free. If you are interested?" You shook your head yes and, shared the chocolates with him. Charles smiled because he knew the relationship that was blossoming.

present day

"Can you believe that day was 5 years ago already?" you asked your husband Gabriel. He smiles down at you "No I can't but, I am so grateful to have gotten to know such a beautiful women. I love you and, more and, more everyday." You start to well up "aww baby girl don't cry" he says with a sad smile. "I know I'm just so happy" you start crying and, he cradles you in his arms. "Daddy why is mommy crying?" Your 6 year old son asks. "Because Mommy is very happy and, loves you very much" you say to him. " Ok Xavier its time for bed now so why don't you go up to your room and, me and, mommy will be up in a second to read you a bedtime story ok?" Gabriel says with a smile. He gets up and, runs up the stairs with a smile on his chubby cheeks. You feel a pang and, rub your swollen belly. "She's kicking" you say with the biggest smile ever. "I wish we could name her Charles we have to do something for him." You said to him you still visit Charles everyday even at his old age, he still works his butt, off to make candy. He now has hard candy filled with actual cherries. That's Xavier's favorite thing. "I know just what to do" he says whispering a plan into your ear.
