With Or Without Crusts? (Castiel)
You walked into the kitchen and put down all the groceries on the table. You breathed out, finally relaxed and done with all the work for the day.
"Hello [y/n]," Castiel greeted and you smiled. "Hi Cassie!" You said and he walked over to you as you took out some ingredients from all over the kitchen.
Lettuce, salami, bacon, tomatoes, pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, slices of cheddar cheese and most importantly, bread.
You set all these food items on the counter and rubbed your hands together. "What are you doing?" Castiel asked as he looked over your shoulder.
You took out two slices of bread from the loaf and put them on a plate. "I'm making a sandwich for myself. I'm hungry," You told and he raised his eyebrows with curiosity.
You did your thing, making a sandwich was virtually part of your everyday routine. You could do it blind folded.
But Cas watching you intently was starting to make you feel a bit... uneasy. "Uh, Cas... Do you want a sandwich? Should I make you one?" You asked, even though you know he doesn't eat.
"I want to make one, I want to learn how to make this," He said and you shrugged. Well, you couldn't say no to him. He was determined into making a sandwich.
You held his arm and pulled him to your side. "Okay Cas, we're going to learn how to make a sandwich," You said and he smiled.
You asked him to get another plate from the cupboard and he set it down in front of him. You gave him two bread slices and he stared at them. "Just do what I do, okay?" You instructed and he nodded.
First, you took the mayonnaise and spread it on one side of a bread slice with a butter knife. Cas copied you, struggling a bit with the spreading. You showed him the movement of the knife slowly and eventually he got the hang of it. Then you did the same with the ketchup, spreading it on the other slice.
Next, you put lettuce on top of the slice with mayo, Castiel copied you while analysing the veiny pattern on the leaf. "Next we put a tomato on top," You instructed and Cas nodded.
"Is that all?" He questioned and you shook your head. "We need to add the best part: meat," You grinned as you waved two slices of salami in front of him. He took two as well and put it on top of the sandwich.
You put bacon on top of that, then topped it off with pickles. Castiel followed closely, always asking questions about the ingredients, whether he could put other things as well.
After placing a slice of cheese, you put the top slice of bread and the sandwich was complete. "Voila!" You put your hands together, "That's how you make a sandwich!" Castiel smiled, he looked so proud and satisfied.
You analysed Castiel's sandwich and smiled. You took a knife and started to slice it, when Cas freaked out.
"What are you doing?!" Castiel exclaimed and you jumped a bit. He grabbed his plate and stared at it with grief. "Cas I have to cut it so we can eat it easily," You explained, "All sandwiches are cut into triangles."
He relaxed and tilted his head, "Oh." He gave you his plate and you finished cutting the sandwich. He smiled at it, adoring the layers out of being proud.
You cut yours up and took a bite. "Oh yum!" You said with your mouth full, "You should eat Cas. Anyways, I'm going to the library. You coming?"
"I uh... Can I make some more sandwiches?" He asked, with an expression that made him look like an adorable kid asking permission from his parents. You smiled softly, "Sure. Just clean everything up when you're done."
He beamed with happiness and nodded. He turned around and started concocting his next sandwich. You chuckled as you walked to the library.

"Because of that day, he couldn't go out. It's a permanent thing now," You said as you continued to munch on your sandwich.
Dean's mouth salivated. He asked you if he could have the second triangle but you refused and grinned. You were too hungry and the sandwich was too good.
"Well at least he's okay now, we should-"
Just then, Castiel walked into the library with three plates in his hand. "Hello Dean, Sam and [y/n]," He greeted and you raised an eyebrow. Castiel placed a plate each infront of the boys and smiled happily.
"Cas what's this?" Dean asked. Cas looked at you, "[y/n] taught me how to make sandwiches today. I can make one type of meal now! I added all sorts of ingredients, they were already prepared."
"I hope the animals were consoled before slaughtering them..." Castiel drifted off, but shook his head to come back to the main point, "I had to make you both some sandwiches. Enjoy!"
You smiled softly at the Angel. He looked adorable now but you chuckled when you looked at his face clearly. You took a little bread from your sandwich and stood up.
"Cas you've got... ketchup on your cheek," You giggled as you wiped it with the bread, "Open up." He obeyed your order and you put the bread piece in his mouth. He had no emotion as he ate it, pity he can't enjoy food the way humans can.
Sam and Dean raised their eyebrows, taking a bite from the sandwich they had and enjoying the taste. Castiel looked at them, eager to know their reaction.
"Wow this is really good Cas! Great job!" Sam said and Dean nodded. He now has a different way of getting sandwiches without him doing the effort... and he knows Castiel will never say no.
