"You know you're not that prepared for stuff like this Kyra, and yet you try?!" Sam yelled and you crossed your arms. "I can take care of myself Sam, I don't need you to be my mom!" You yelled back. Sam rolled his eyes.

"You could have killed yourself, or worse, killed one of us!" He said and you raised your eyebrows. "So if I get killed it's not that bad?!" You said in disbelief.

"Of course it is," Sam said, "You think you're so... 'Professional' and 'experienced'. Well, you're not and you're just... You're just-"

"Say it Sam, SAY IT!" You spat. "You're just a liability!" Sam shouted and you felt slightly hurt. "Yeah, I said it! And its true because you just do whatever you want and Dean and I need to make sure you don't kill yourself," Sam went on and you gripped his shirt.

"I.AM.NOT.A.CHILD.SAM!" You shouted so loud that he felt scared, "I can freaking take care of myself!"

Sam laughed, "Yeah okay, Ms. 'Over-Confident'. One moment you think you're too great and your head gets sliced!"

You let go of his shirt and slapped him as hard as you could. "You know what? Screw you Sam Winchester! Screw your attitude," You said, "You know I thought that you'd be a great boyfriend but oh how wrong I was!" You stormed away from him, unable to remain calm.

That's it. It was over. You couldn't take it anymore.

You empty your wardrobe and drawers, packing everything you owned into as many suitcases and trolleys as you could. All that was left in your room was the furniture. You had literally taken everything, it wasn't that much anyways.

You put on your jacket and walked out of the Bunker door. Sam was nowhere to be seen. You wanted to say goodbye to him really badly but you decided not to.

He doesn't care anyways, You thought, I wonder if he ever did...

*****

You drove on, Dean was on speaker phone. "Do you really have to do this? Come on, Ky, please come back," Dean said and you sighed. "Dean he hates me, I just know it," You responded. "He is killing himself. He loves you with all his life... Though he stopped making the effort of searching for you," Dean said and you felt sad.

"See? He stopped searching, he doesn't care," You said. Dean sighed, "Well he-"

"Dean I'm sorry, I have to cut you off. Making a quick stop at the gas station," You said and picked your phone up. "Okay I'll talk to you later then," He said. "Love you Dean," You said in a friendly way. "I love you too," He said and you smiled, "Drive safe, be careful." You nodded, even though he couldn't see you, "Always."

You ended the call and parked the car at the gas station. You got out and went to the washroom then bought some snacks from the store. You had at least another two hours till you reach the next motel.

*****

You had made a mistake on that hunt. You under-estimated the power of that creature. You would have killed yourself on that hunt, you would have killed Sam and Dean.

That's why you fought with Sam. He always thought of you as an irresponsible person that couldn't do anything right. You were sick and tired of being treated like some inexperienced Hunter. A mistake could be made by anyone. You had left the Bunker that day. It was the last time you saw Sam.

That was a year ago. A long, lonely and tiresome year.

You got under the covers, cuddling into he warm and soft material. You hated the emptiness beside you but you had gotten used to it. A night wouldn't go by without you thinking about the fight that had happened. The dialogues echo through your head, the things you said and the way you acted. You sometimes regretted it, wishing you could go back in time and change everything.

But it wasn't your fault. Sam was an expert at making assumptions, which is his downfall. He never lets you talk and he always makes decisions for you.

You hated that and you were slightly glad you went away. You could do anything you want and no one could stop you.

You shut your eyes, feeling as though sleep is casting it's nightly spell on you. Within minutes you were out cold, dreaming about a better day... A better reality.

*****

Sam paced around the room. It was start in to annoy Dean. "Dude you've been doing that for half an hour," He said and huffed. Sam looked at him, puzzled. "Doing what?" He asked.

"That! That pacing thing!" Dean said, "Stop it before I blow my eyes out!" San sighed and over to the table. Dean rolled his eyes in irritation. "Just pick up the damn phone and give her a call," Dean said and Sam shook his head.

"She won't answer, she's put me on voicemail," Sam said and frowned. Dean raised his eyebrows on surprise, "She wouldn't put you on voicemail, just try."

Sam dialed the number and there was a voice.

"Hi this is Kyra Elizabeth, leave your name and number after the beep and I'll try to call back as soon as I can!"

BEEP!

"Wow, she actually did put you on voicemail," Dean said and went back to his book. Sam continued to stare at his phone.

He didn't regret all the things he had said that day. It was intirely your fault, and you couldn't accept it... Or atleast that's what he felt.

But now, he regrets it so much. He misses you immensely and sometimes, Dean doesn't know, he cries softly in his room while imagining that fight and the hurt and anger on your face.

You and him would just quarrel previously but this was your first actual fight. And it turned out bad. It made you go away from him.

Sam regrets falling in love with you. Not that he doesn't like you or that you were a burden. He feels as though he can't love anyone, he doesn't have the capacity for love... He wasn't made for it.

He had ruined your life and now that is ruining his. Instant karma huh?

*****

You reloaded your pistol, muscles tense and forehead and palms sweaty. You were nervous and scared. You were about to face a vampire clan on your own. Going solo may not have been such a great idea.

You heard footsteps. There was another person in this old warehouse.

No wait.

There were two other people.

You were about to turn the corner but stopped and peeked, making sure no one stood ahead. You went back and stood straight, taking a deep breath before turning and taking the turn.

You walked ahead till-

"AHHH!" You screamed, surprised to see two men. You would have shot them if your hand was on the trigger. When everything became clear, you seriously wished you had shot them.

It was Sam and Dean Winchester.

"Kyra?" Dean said and you immediately turned and walked away. Dean reached out and grabbed your hand before you were too far. You huffed and rolled your eyes. "What do you two want?" You said between your teeth.

"It's been a year, where have you been?" Dean asked, a smile of relief on your face. "Nothing, just hunting and moving from town to town," You glanced at Sam, who didn't dare to make eye contact with you. He looked guilty.

"Really? I'm just glad you're alive... I mean, we are glad," The older brother said and nudged Sam, who glared at him. You giggled in your mind then returned back to your unphased self.

"Well seems like you guys can handle this. I'll leave you to it," You said as you turned around once again. "Kyra please, stay and hunt with us," Dean requested and you sighed. "I don't think I should," You said but Dean wouldn't accept it, "Alright fine. But after this I'm going back to my life."

*****

"Only one more to go," You said while looking at your bloodied blade. You started to feel tired after killing the clan of seven vampires.

"Yeah so you guys stay here and I'll find the last one," Dean said and you looked up from your blade. "Why should we-Wait, what are you doing?" You stopped as you watched Dean lock the door of the room you were inside.

He was on the other side of the door while you and Sam were stuck in this small room. "You guys need to talk it out. It's been a long year. Just chill, make out, have fun!" Dean said and chuckled.

"Shut up Dean!" You yelled, "You unlock this door right now otherwise you won't ever get a good night's sleep again."

"Honey I barely sleep properly anyways," He teased and you clenched your jaw. "I'll go find the last guy and you both stay put," Dean instructed and left.

The silence started to eat your ears. It hurt till you had to clear your throat to make some noise. You hated the tension in the room.

"So... Sa-m," You said, feeling weird about saying that name. You haven't said it for months. "Look Kyra, I'm really sorry about that night. You know what, scratch that. I'm really sorry about everything bad I have ever said to you," Sam started, "I always treat you as if you're some rookie that doesn't know squat about hunting. I just... I care about you so much that I don't want you to get hurt."

"I l-love you too much and its killing me inside," Sam said and fidgeted with his hands, "I look at the way you look at me and I feel like I'm not even important to you anymore, that I never was."

Sam looked up with tears streaming down his face. He was literally crying. He wasn't lying about anything.

You hesitated, feeling your emotions taking over. With all your might, you walked over to Sam.

"Sam Winchester is crying?!" You said and smiled softly as you wiped his tears with your thumb, "Not my Sammy, no. He never cries." He gave you a small smile.

"When you left I... I realized that all I did to protect you, all the times I said no to you hunting, was really just making you go away from me. It was the complete opposite," He said and you took his hands.

"Shhh forget about that now. I'm sorry I acted like a child, I'll admit it. I was just so frustrated that I couldn't do anything," You said, "Look, I wanted to make you proud, make you think 'that's my girl' with a proud smile on your face after I finish a badass hunt... But you never gave me the chance."

"But you've proved it now," Sam said and you looked into his eyes, "Look at you, you're amazing." He stroked the strands of your hair, "You survived all this time doing who knows what. I don't have to worry anymore."

You smiled, "So this means we're..."

"Yes," Sam said and you hugged him. Then a thought came in your mind. All the times your had gone to the bar and seen guys who hit on you...

"One question... Did you ever, in all this time, sl-"

"I didn't. Not at all," Sam said, "Because you're mine." You kissed him, feeling in love all over again. You didn't realize how much you had missed him till this moment. "Wait... Did you?" He asked after you pulled away and you shook your head.

"Not once, because you're mine."
