Unlawful (Castiel Pt. 2)

1 and a half months later

You were walking back to the Bunker after a relaxing stroll into town. Lately, you've been a bit moody and stressed, and walks have always helped clear your mind.

You turned around a corner to find a man standing there staring at you. He was tall, brown hair and a bit of a stubble. You looked away then looked back but the man still looked at you.

"[y/n] [y/l/n]," He said in a deep voice. You stepped a bit closer, hands in your coat pocket. "Who are you? How do you... How do you know my name?" You felt a bit afraid.

"That... 'Thing' you carry, it's not right," He said as he stepped closer. You looked to your purse with confusion. As he came closer, you started to move back. "I will not let it ruin the peace of this world."

The guy removed an Angel blade from his sleeve. "You're an Angel," You said, fearing your life.

He was at you in seconds. He pinned you to the wall and put the blade to your throat. "It needs to end and I will be the one to finish it," He said as he pushed the blade closer to your neck.

"I don't know what you're talking about, please!" You begged. You always carried a gun with you but you had forgotten to take it from your bedside drawer today.

"Acting innocent huh? That's not going to-"

"Hey!" A man shouted as he gripped the attacker's shoulder and turned him around. It was Castiel.

The attacker grinned, "Oh look what we have here. The wayward Angel Castiel. I never thought I'd get the privilege to see you." Castiel glared at him, "Aladriel."

"I have to do this Castiel. It is for the good of everyone," He started to turn around but Castiel punched him in the face.

The fighting began. Aladriel swung his blade, barely missing Castiel's face. Cas took his blade out and swung it, cutting the other Angel's arm. This angered him and he rushed to Cas.

Castiel is experienced and Aladriel is a minor Angel, rarely out of Heaven.

Cas tackled him to the ground, linking his arms and legs down. "What you're doing, it's wrong! No one will forgive you," Aladriel said, trying to reason. Castiel raised his blade, "I'm sorry brother."

There was a flash of light along with screams of agony. Moments later, Aladriel was dead and Castiel rushed towards you. You were terrified.

"[y/n] are you okay? Are you hurt?" Cas asked as he held your hands and scanned your body. You melted into his arms and he hugged you.

"What was that?" You said softly but then pulled away, becoming furious, "What the hell was that?!"

"Why did he attack me? He said I was carrying something... I'm not carrying anything! I don't even have my gun with me!" You yelled a bit. Cas had no words to say.

Thankfully the Bunker was just two minutes away. He tried, but you refused to talk to Castiel.

You opened the door and marched down the stairs towards your room. "[y/n]... At least hear what I have to say," Cas attempted to earn your attention. Sam and Dean were in the library looking puzzled. Cas looked at them then went after you.

You slammed your bedroom door shut. You wanted to punch something, scream your heart out. You were angry and scared at the same time.

Cas entered slowly. "I'm just asking a simple question Castiel. Why are they after me? I've been going on walks and there are always people looking at me as if I'm some ghost but today, this guy nearly severed my head!"

Cas hesitantly walked up to you as you talked. His face was occupied by concern. "You have nothing to say about that?" You questioned, irritated by how he was just staring at your body.

He looked up to you and held your shirt. "Can I...?" He said as he lifted it a bit. You furrowed your eyebrows and nodded, not knowing what he was doing.

He placed his hand on your stomach. There was a light and a tickling sort of feeling. He took his hand away quickly, looking at you with worry then walked away.

You tilted your head a bit with confusion then all emotion was drained from your face.

"Oh no," You mumbled and ran to your washroom. You scavenged the cupboards and drawers for 'that' test.

You couldn't feel your legs as you stared at it. You did the test and left it on the sink, staring at it anxiously. You turned to look into your bedroom. Cas stood there, with some sort of guilt expression. You looked at him, yearning for answers or some sort of response but none came.

You looked at the test and it was positive. You felt faint, dropping a bit. Castiel held you in his arms, rubbing your back.

"A Nephilim?" Dean said. You bit your nails. It was an old habit that only came when you were anxious. "Yes Dean. They are half Angel half human. They are very powerful," Castiel explained.

Dean turned to you, "So you're... Pregnant? And you two...?" He pointed to you then Cas. You rolled your eyes, "Yes Dean, we had sex okay. Happy that I said it?!" You were having mood swings. Stress was taking you over.

Dean was a bit startled but that didn't stop him from asking more questions. Typical. Cas and Sam continued to talk to each other while Dean talked to you.

"So how was it?" He raised his eyebrows and had a smug smile. "It was fine," You said, still fidgeting with your hands. In truth, it was the best night of your life.

"You didn't... You didn't have protection?" Dean questioned, softly. You looked at him with a 'what the hell' look.

"I don't know Dean! It wasn't planned..." Your blood boiled a bit, "Why are you so curious? If you want to sleep with Cas then be my guest. You can find out  on your own how it was." You became loud, even Sam and Cas turned to you.

Dean looked hurt. He huffed and sat back in his chair. You felt sad, "I'm... I'm sorry Dean. Right now, I want to laugh, I want to cry and I want to kill someone. Please don't mind me right now." You sighed and held your head.

"Being pregnant sucks huh?" Dean said, giving you a sympathetic smile. "Dean, I didn't even know until two hours ago," You said.

"I uh, I knew from before," Castiel told Sam and your head snapped towards him. You got closer to him, "Wait... What did you say?"

You stood up a bit, "You knew and you didn't tell me?!" Cas went back a bit, "A few days after the night, there was talk on Angel radio of a nephilim coming into existence. I thought it was general talk."

"Then everytime I'd come near you, I'd get these... Vibes or waves. I could feel something from within you," Castiel continued to explain, "I wasn't sure till today when the guy was about to hurt you."

"Wait a guy was going to hurt you?" Sam asked with shock. "Yes and if 'Mr. Secretive' would have told me, I would have been prepared," You spat and Cas rolled his eyes. "I saved you today. If I wasn't there you would have been killed," Castiel argued.

You both started to quarrel till Dean raised his voice. You huffed and crossed your arms.

"As I was saying, I confirmed the whole situation today after coming back to the Bunker," Castiel sat back in his seat and Sam and Dean looked at each other.

You rubbed your forehead when it started to throb. You really wanted a nice hot cup of coffee.

*****

You sat on one of the cozy chairs in the library. You stared at the floor, thinking about every possible thing you could think of. Castiel walked up and sat down next to you. He smiled softly and you smiled back.

"I'm sorry. I-I have no words. I've put you into such a big problem," Castiel was mentally beating himself, "I'm so... Ignorant sometimes."

"Hey, hey... It's okay," You held his hand, "I'm fine with the baby, honestly. All I'm worried about is the Angels coming after you and me. We didn't exactly do something... Acceptable."

Castiel nodded, biting his lip, "As long as you're fine with the baby, I'm fine too." You pulled him closer, bringing his hand closer to your belly.

"You'll be a dad Cas and I'll be a mom. Isn't that exciting?" You said and placed his hand on your belly. He smiled, "I can feel the baby's Angelic power. He or she is very strong."

"Of course! He or she's dad is so strong too," You smiled and he chuckled, "We'll be spending a lot of time together from now on."

You both sat in silence for a couple of minutes.

"Come to think of it, I've put on a few pounds. I thought I was eating too much. I guess it was just the baby," You told. You felt the living being move inside you. You stayed still, with fascination.

"It won't take the normal amount of time for the baby to be born. Nephilims develop more quickly," Castiel explained, "So the baby should be born in around four months time." You looked at him and nodded.

Concern washed over you once again. "Cas, what about the other Angels? They'll want to kill me," You said. Cas stood up, helping you up while holding your hands.

He stepped closer, "This may hurt a bit but it will help. It won't hurt the baby." He placed his first two fingers on your forehead and pressed a bit. You felt a sudden sting throughout your body, making you jerk a bit and squeeze his hand tightly.

"What...What was that?" You held your forehead. "You're warded from the Angels and there's a sort of shield around the baby. They won't be able to feel it's power and find either of you," Castiel explained.

You nodded then hugged him. He was a bit surprised them he hugged back. "I've never said or told you this but... I love you," You said into his ears. He gripped you tightly, "Me too. I'm so happy that it's you who's carrying my child."
