"Hey, you okay?" Gabriel asked, placing his hand on top of yours and glancing towards you to find a frown on your face. "I'm... fine," You sighed, "I'm just scared I guess. I don't know, I feel stupid for feeling like this but I'm genuinely scared about what they could do to me and how they'd react."

Gabriel rubbed your hand and gave you a soft smile, "I'll protect you, just lile how I've been doing for the past six months." You smiled and bent closer to him, planting a kiss on his cheek. He turned a slight red and you giggled.

The story of your current anxiety starts at the beginning of four years ago. It was the time when you met the Winchesters. Everything was going swell, no flaws and no problems, till your past caught you and they found out about your true identity.

You're actually a demon, one of the highest ranks in the chain. You hated that life and put it behind you, coming up with a new name and a new backstory, learning new ways of presenting yourself and how to.
understand the people around you.

You soon ended up being ninety-percent human, avoiding the fact that you're really a demon inside.

But when the Winchesters found out, they were offended and felt invaded. They couldn't believe that you fooled them, they thought that you were close to them.

But you were. They were your best friends... but they thought otherwise.

They cast you out of their home... Your home, the Bunker, and forbid you to ever return otherwise they'd kill you. You were in tears, unable to accept their words but had to listen to them. You didn't want to end up dead.

But during the whole stay with the Winchesters, one thing good that came out was that you met Gabriel, an Angel of Heaven. He treated you like his little sister, always keeping an eye on you and making sure you don't make dumb choices.

When Sam and Dean told you to leave, Gabriel got so pissed that the way he acted had started to scare you. His inner demon came out and took over the Gabriel you have come to know.

To your happiness, the old Gabe came back soon and now you both are on the way to the Winchester's place to talk things out since they are killing the other demons of the same rank as you. They would probably come after you so you've thought that you'd go and talk it out, and show them that you're not exactly what the stereotypical view of a demon is.

Right now you must be wondering why you're travelling in a car. You and Gabriel both can teleport but using your powers only reminds you of all the despair your true life has brought you. You try to avoid it as much as possible.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"There's no turning back now," You mumbled to yourself, anxiety reaching its possible peak. Gabriel held onto your arm but as soon as the door opened, he let go sharply.

At first, the Winchester had a neutral face but once he saw you, his eyes widened and not particularly with happiness

"We told you to-"

"Dean please, I..." You looked to Gabriel then sighed, "We want to talk. Please, hear what I have to say."

Dean looked at you hesitantly then opened the door wider, letting you and Gabriel in. He kept eyeing Gabriel as if he was some sort of creature they had never seen. He almost looked as if he felt... betrayed.

"Well I guess you guys know about our latest hunting venture. That's why you've probably come here to talk," Dean snickered and you looked at him with disgust. He seemed so different, so detached to actual friendship and life.

It was as if, once again, all he cared about was hunting and not actually saving as many lives.

Sam looked up from his books and watched you guys walk down the stairs with fascination. He still had his sympathetic expressions.

Dean reached one of the tables and opened up a beer bottle standing tall on top. "Okay you wanted to talk so... talk," He took a sip and watched you and Gabriel completely unamused.

You looked to Gabriel then took a deep breath, "We wanted to talk about giving me a second chance. Please I'm not-"

Dean scoffed and you raised an eyebrow. Sam held his head, irritated by his brother's sometimes unnecessary remarks and acts. You clenched your fists, planting your feet firmly on the ground.

"This is a bad idea [y/n]," Gabriel whispered to you and you frowned. "No, wait a minute," You turned to Dean, "Dean you've always been an asshole so now, after literally throwing me out, don't start treating me like a pile of rubbish!"

"Look, I wouldn't have come here if I still didn't have hope in you two, if I didn't have hope in the fact that you may hear me out," You stated firmly, "Gabriel here-"

"Hang on, I'm going to have to pause you there," Dean grinned, "Why and how do you have him on your tail?" You furrowed your eyebrows and were about to answer but Gabriel room it as his turn to speak.

"I'm with her because you two dickheads don't give a damn about maybe using your brains for once rather than blindly following some stupid rules about hunting," Gabriel yelled. You looked at him in awe and slight concern, hoping that he wouldn't end up fighting one of the Winchesters.

" 'Oh she's a demon? Let's kill her! Oh he's an Angel? He has to die! Oh they are werewolves? Die die die!' " Gabriel mocked, smoke literally steaming out of his ears.

Dean raised an eyebrow, completely unphased by Gabriel's behaviour. Sam on the other hand felt slightly guilty.

"Another thing..." Gabriel took his Angel blade put and pointed it right up to Dean's chin, "You don't need to act like the king of dickheads right now!"

"Woah woah woah, this discussion doesn't need any weapons. I thought you just wanted to talk," Dean put his arms out in defence but Gabriel didn't back down. You held onto his arm and pulled him back.

"Gabe let's go," You whispered but all his did was grunt. Dean laughed for some reason and you looked at him with complete hate.

"Yeah, 'Gabe babe!' Why don't you go and let us continue to kill you demonic sons of bitches?!" Dean said and you lost it. You punched him in the nose and pushed him to the wall.

You pushed him up to it with your powers and looked at him with your black eyes. "You know you're the one actually acting like a demon right now! I ought to kill you!" You yelled and squeezed your hand shut, causing Dean to gasp for air.

He tried to move and get out of the hold but you let him stay in that torture for a little more.

"Come on Gabe, we're leaving. Who needs these douche bags?!" You started to storm away, releasing Dean from your powers and making him fall to the floor breathing heavily. He glared at you both while Sam walked up to you and Gabriel

"[y/n] wait!"

Gabriel turned around sharply and stuck his blade out. "Don't even think about touching her, you hear me?" He warned, complete seriousness on his face. You held Gabriel's arm and told him to put his arm down.

"Sam, I can't stay. I know at least you have a somewhat optimistic attitude but with your brother... I can't risk it," You told and he nodded in agreement, even though he wanted to say something further. Sam knows how frustrating and stubborn his brother can be sometimes.

You hugged Sam briefly then rushed ahead towards the Bunker's main door. You ran out, none of the Winchesters stopped you even though Dean wanted to so bad. He was too exhausted anyways.

You shut the door and sat in your car, in the passenger seat. You were still fuming inside, unable to shake off the fact that they didn't give you a second chance.

Gabriel looked at you with worry then asked if you were okay. "You know what? I'm perfectly okay right now Gabe!" You smiled and nodded, "I'm alive, I've got powers and best of all I've got you."

He smirked slightly. "And you know what? You're going to take us to a bar nd we're going to have drinks and get slightly drunk and then we're going to have a fun night,
just you and me in the darkness of that motel bedroom," You said and Gabriel shrugged.

"I have no objections with that," He looked his lips and smiled, "Who needs the Winchesters anyways? I get to spend my time with you."
