Spectacular Spectacles (Jared)
You walked towards your trailer and opened the door. You wheeled in your trolley bag, which had your duffel on top. You placed it to the side, next to the couch and took your jacket off. You rubbed the cast on your hand and sighed.
Filming on the Supernatural set had already started but you had come late because you had sprained your hand, due to falling down the stairs. You felt embarrassed when you told everyone what had happened, especially when you told Jared.
But that wasn't the worst part. Turns out the reason you fell was because you had weak eyesight. You went to the doctor and yes... You guessed it. You got glasses.
You'd stare at yourself in the mirror, hating how you looked. You had considered getting contact lenses but you had to be all responsible and clean to use them or you could get an eye infection.
In the end, you were stuck with frames on your face, making the world easier to see but making it harder for everyone to look at you... You thought.
You sighed as you placed your hand bag on the table. It wasn't like you're whole world was blurry but, you had to squint to see words properly and seeing things 20 feet away was tiresome. It gave you a headache.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
You jumped a bit, startled by the sudden noise at the door. You walked cautiously towards it then opened it up. There stood Jared, looking happier than usual.
"Hey [y/n]! I'm so happy to see you," Jared greeted and gave you a hug. You hugged him back, loving his warmth and essence.
"How are you? How's your hand?" Jared asked, running a hand through his hair. You looked at your hand and sighed, "I'm fine and my hand's okay... It's just limiting. I can't do much with it because it's my dominant hand." Jared nodded, looking a bit sad.
"Well, at least it's not that serious," Jared looked to the ground, shyly, "I was really worried about you." You gave him a small smile. He was the sweetest person and you both were best friends. You didn't have that sort of relationship with anyone else on set.
"Good timing though," Jared said, "Lunch time just started." He gestures for you to follow him and you stepped down the stairs. You tripped on the last one and if Jared wasn't there, you would have fallen face first.
"Are you okay?" Jared asked with concern and you nodded, slightly embarrassed.

You sighed when you entered the food tent. There were labels for all the trays.
Great. More reading, You thought.
You walked ahead, giving Jared a forced smile. You took a plate and started to thinks of ways in which you could find out what was being served.
You could ask Jared what food was there but it would be really weird if you were asking him for every single tray. You cut that option.
Next, you thought that you could pick up the labels. That way you could see clearly but again, everyone would probably stare at you.
You could just look at the food but you wanted the labels to make sure you knew what you were eating.
You sighed.
You walked to the first tray and you bent down a bit. You opened it up and looked inside, acting as if you were smelling the aroma but actually looking at the label: 'Beef ribs'.
That went on for the next three trays till Jared sensed something. "[y/n], are you okay?" He questioned, giving you a look.
You smiled as you awkwardly stood up straight, "I'm fine, just... The food smells so good!" You laughed nervously, not bothering to look at the rest of the trays.
You walked towards your table, feeling horrible. You had to figure out a way to wear your glasses... But not wear your glasses.

Jensen was sitting beside you on a chair. You were texting a friend on your phone but didn't realize how close you were holding your phone to your face.
"Uh... [y/n]? You okay?" Jensen asked you and you looked at him with confusion. "Yeah, what makes you ask that?" You asked.
"Oh nothing, just... You're phone," Jensen said and pointed at the device in your hand. You turned to look at it and realized how close it was to your face. You frowned and set it down on your lap. You sighed.
And like your day couldn't get worse, Jared saw the whole thing. He kept looking at you with concern and you started to feel a little annoyed.
"Hey guys, everyone's gathering for a reading of the script," Jared informed and you gave him a thumbs up. You walked ahead, leaving the boys discussing why you were acting so different and odd.
*****
"I, uh... I," You struggled to read the script. You squinted, your head starting to pain. "I wish I could... Umm," You looked up then picked the script up and brought it closer to your face.
"I wish you wouldn't do this, uh... Do this to us Sam," You felt humiliated. You looked up and everyone was silent, Jared especially. "[y/n], are you-"
You stood up immediately. "I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE!" You yelled and stormed out, leaving the rest of the people present extremely confused.
Jared stood up and ran behind you. You could hear him call out your name but you ignored him. All you did was go to your trailer and sit on the stairs.
"[y/n]," Jared turned around the corner and sat next to you. You didn't say anything, just buried your head in your knees.
"You can't... See properly, right?" Jared said. You looked up to him and sighed, "Yeah, my eyesight is weak and I have to wear some stupid glasses that make me look like some dork."
Jared placed a hand on your shoulder, looking at you with sympathy, "Glasses aren't stupid, they help you to see."
"But I look horrible in them!" You nearly yelled. Jared backed away a bit and you sighed. He took a deep breath, "Bring me your glasses, let's see how you look."
You went into your trailer and picked up the hard-framed, square shaped glasses and gave them to Jared. You looked at him as he put them over your eyes.
Instantly, the world became clearer. You could see Jared's face properly and boy did he look good.
"Wow, you look... Beautiful," Jared said with awe. "Yeah sure, thanks for the motivation," You sulked.
"No seriously, you look really nice," Jared said and took his phone out. He opened up the front camera and held it infront of your face.
"See? You look beautiful. You look better in glasses," He smiled, "It... Suits you." You gave him a soft smile, "Thanks Jar, it really means a lot."
But no matter what he said, you still didn't like the whole 'wear-your-glasses' deal.

The next day
You sighed as you walked out of your trailer. You put your glasses on, your motivation being that you could see better and that Jared said you looked good... That's all.
You kept your head down, trying not to draw any unwanted attention to yourself. You kept it so low that you didn't realize that-
THUMP!
You were knocked back a bit when you hit Jensen from behind. "Oh my God, Jensen, I'm so sorry about-"
You looked at him with horror when he turned around. "No... No this can't be... I'm dreaming."
He was wearing glasses, similar to the ones you had on. You backed away with fear. Misha approached you both and he too was wearing glasses.
They kept asking if you were okay, sneaking in a 'you look nice in glasses by the way' from time to time.
You bumped into someone else while backing away. You turned back sharply and saw that it was Jared. You were about to scream.
"Hey [y/n]!" Jared greeted and you could have slapped him if you wanted. He was wearing glasses too and you realized exactly what he was doing.
You stormed off, pushing him aside and leaving him hurt inside. "I can't believe you're making fun of me! Of all the people, I never thought you'd be like this!" You yelled at him. He followed you, attempting to bring you to a stop.
"[y/n] listen, I have no idea what you're talking about," He told and you stopped infront of him and turned around.
"You're wearing glasses, everyone is wearing glasses. I can see what you're doing. Mocking me, you're making fun of how I look!" You spat on his face.
"I would never do that to you..." He said and attempted to hug you but you moved away. You weren't emotional normally but this hurt too much. You secretly loved Jared and for him to make fun of you... It felt horrible.
A tear escaped your eye and you let him hug you. He rubbed your back slowly and you buried your head in his chest.
"I asked everyone to wear glasses just so you wouldn't feel... Out of place," Jared explained and you looked into his eyes, "If everyone wears glasses, you'd be the odd one if you don't wear yours."
"You did this... For me?" You said through sobs. He kissed your head, "Of course! You're one of my closest friends on set, I care about you [y/n]... A lot."
"Thank you," You said softly and he held you closer. Once you had calmed down, you kissed him on the cheek, making him go all red. You giggled.
You had to admit it, he looked really good in glasses.
