You looked over the caption under the photo for the hundreth time then smiled as you clicked 'Post'.

You received a notification saying that:

You grinned but frowned when you clicked on the direct message from Dean. You continued the conversation, no hint of happiness on your face.

You frowned and got up, shrugging off the response you received. You told yourself that Dean is just like that, he has a hard time liking something that someone else does. He's picky... and it annoys you sometimes.

You know it's just a picture and people have their preferences... but he just seems to reject anything you put forward.

You put your phone on charge then walked out of your room and towards the kitchen. You sighed all the way, you thought posting the picture would make you happy. It did the complete opposite.

"Hey [y/n]!" Sam greeted and you nodded. "Hi Sam," You responded, rather sadly. He furrowed his eyebrows then walked a little closer to you as you picked out a small bottle of lemon juice from the fridge.

"Everything okay?" He asked and you sighed. "Uh, I don't know. I posted this picture of Dean on Instagram, an old one, and he likes the post sure, but he starts complaining about how kiddish he looks and crap like that," You told.

"I had a good heart when I posted it and it just... It kind of puts your mood off, you know?" You said and Sam nodded slowly, "He always does this for almost everything and it makes me wonder if he actually likes anything about me or not... or he just find the occasional kiss and nights spent together entertaining."

Sam looked at you with hurt, as if you were talking about him. He seemed to understand your feelings.

You shook off the thought, "Anyways, it's wrong for me to be doing this. I shouldn't be talking about Dean like this." You gave him a small smile before drinking a sip from your juice.

The next day...

Sam researched about ways to eat healthier, something Dean wouldn't ever think about.

He reached a webpage that had some good suggestions, only to be distracted by his phone notifying him of a message.

TING!

His brother had sent him a text message.

~~~
Dean lay on his bed with his legs stretched out, staring at his phone and waiting for his brother to reply to his message.
Dean placed his head back on the bed frame and took a deep breath. He had the ideal thing to make you happy and fix whatever misunderstanding had gotten between your relationship with him.
But he wasn't quite sure if you felt the same way anymore...
It was just a picture. [y/n] doesn't change that easily, he thought while trying to calm his nerves.
He got up and went over to his wardrobe, opening his underwear drawer, a place he knew you'd never go through. Once he opened it, he grinned, excitement replacing all the doubt he had.
*****
Dean walked towards the library slowly, his hand tapping the sides of his legs with anticipation.
"So a demon tries to fool an Angel into thinking it's human but can't because they can see their black eyes?" You said to Sam, trying to see if you understood everything.
"Exactly, and then the other guy just wanders into the bar and looks-"
Sam looked towards the library's entrance, "Hey Dean." He smiled softly and his brother gave him a small wave. You rolled your eyes then looked back. You and Dean hadn't exactly sorted out your conflicts with each other.
"[y/n] can I talk to you for a moment?" Dean asked and you raised an eyebrow. You looked to Sam then back at Dean.
"Uh, no. Whatever you want to say, you can say it here," You told and he sighed, looking to the floor. He looked up and smiled, "Atleast stand up."
You looked to Sam for any signal but all he did was shrug. You hesitantly got up from your seat and took a step towards Dean, who looked far more nervous than one would be for a normal conversation.
"Umm, [y/n]... You've been with us for over three years but you've been with me for the past one and a half. I love every moment I spend with you, the fun we have in the day and the fun at night, that's just... unimaginable," He chuckled and you had a small smile on your face, but it soon turned to neutral.
"I love the way you are and I love how you don't care about other's opinions on you. I like that and I respect that," He continued to say, leaving you suspicious as to where all this is coming from.
He took a deep breath, "I just-I want you to know that I act like a jerk sometimes, you'd obviously know, and a real pain in the ass but, it doesn't mean that you don't mean the world to me."
You tilted your head a bit, looking at him softly. Sam looked to the table, smiling slightly at his brother's words.
"I... I think all I'm really saying is that... I l-love you," Dean said, with a face that told you his words were sincere.
He had never said the phrase this deeply in all the time you've been with him. He really means them, and it made you feel something inside.
"I just need to know if you feel the same way and for that..." Dean said and searched for something in his pocket.
He kneeled on one knee and held out the object he took out from his pocket: a small black box.
You covered your mouth with your hands, unable to stop the smile on your face. You looked to Sam for moment. He was just as surprised as you were.
"[y/n] [y/l/n], my life, my love. Would you continue to be my girl and be part of the Winchester family?" He asked and you ran a hand through your hair.
"Will you marry me?"
"Oh my God Dean!" You said, your voice breaking because you started to tear up, "I... Of course I'd marry you! I say yes!"
He put the ring on the finger where it belongs and stood up. You jumped into his arms and hugged him tight,
squeezing the life out of him. He held you up by your thighs.
You pulled away then placed your hands on the side of his face, bringing him closer for a hard and rough mini make-out session that lasted for about two minutes.
He pulled away, looking at you with a smirk. "I love you Dean," You said breathlessly, "I love you so much."
He put you down then pecked you on the lips, before Sam wished you both congratulations. You hugged onto Dean's arm, smiling crazily.
"Why don't we have one of THOSE nights to celebrate?" You whispered seductively into his ear. He smiled smugly, feeling weak in the knees, "Oh damn please. I need it."
Sam smiled and gave you guys a 'thumbs up'. "Tomorrow we go out for dinner," You told the boys before walking with Dean to your bedroom.
"You know, come to think of it that picture you had posted of me is actually not that bad. Thank you for it," Dean said and you kissed his cheek.
You pushed him into the bedroom and kicked the door close behind you. You were definitely going to enjoy your evening.
