You switched the TV channel till you came onto the one you were looking for. It was something you've been watching a lot recently: Team Free Will.

You sat back in your comfy seat, smiling slightly. You could never be able to get rid of the teary eyes you'd get upon seeing the Winchesters and Castiel going about their daily lives.

Right now, they were busy on a case, episode number 286 where they're hunting down... well you don't know actually, they haven't talked much and they haven't made it clear about what's happening.

The show you watch, it's like Heaven looking down on the lives of the Winchesters. Castiel had visited you once, he told you that your Heaven could be anything you want.

You missed the Winchesters and Castiel more than anything. Sure, the pictures around the walls were good memories but you missed interacting with them. All you feel like now is a stalker, watching their every move.

You got up and started walking around, clearing up your table after you increased the volume of the TV.

"Dean are you sure this is the right thing? We are not-"

"Cas understand that he took something from us. We all loved her and she'd want this, wouldn't she?" You heard Dean reply, "It was unfair for [y/n] to-"

He paused and the mention of your name made you turn to look to the screen. You froze as you stared at it, Dean looked heartbroken.

"Come on guys, let's go," He mumbled then walked towards the Bunker's door. You furrowed your eyebrows and sat back onto your seat, your gaze not diverting from the screen.

"Are they avenging my death?" You asked yourself. At first you shrugged it off but the thought always came back to your mind.

You had to continue watching the show.

The Winchesters drove into a small town, cosy houses were on either side of the road. Dean and Sam looked around for a specific house. The guy who killed you, the werewolf, lives in one of these houses.

The one at the end of the road, the surprisingly dusty one was where he lives. Dean pulls the Impala in the drive way and cuts the ignition. He gets out and Sam and Cas follow him into the house.

Dean notices that Cas looks oddly nervous. He was doing to ask him about it but Sam says-

"Seems like no one's here. Are you sure this is the right address?" The younger brother asks and Dean looks at him without expressions.

"I know how to read and I know my lefts and rights Sam," Dean replied and Sam rolled his eyes. The boys walked out, to find the neighbour, a woman watering her plants.

"Excuse me ma'am, Agents Mercury and Bowie," Dean introduced and showed her the FBI badges, "Do you know if a young man named Ryan lives here?"

She thought for a moment then nodded, "Ryan Jefferson? Yes he used to live there." Sam furrowed his eyebrows, "Used to? Where is he now?"

"Oh you don't know? He's staying at the hospital after he got ill all of a sudden. Being FBI agents I thought you would know," She informed and Sam looked at Dean briefly.

"Well we are just cross-checking. Thank you for the details," Dean smiled slightly then walked to the car. To his surprise Castiel was already sitting inside, hands in his lap.

What is up with him? Dean thought.

*****

"Alright agents, here are his records," Ryan's doctor gave Sam his files and the Winchester looked through them. "Can we visit him?" Dean asked and the doctor nodded sadly.

"Of course, but I don't think it would do you any good," He said, "Room 23C." The doctor walked off and Sam found a discovery about the guy they want to torture.

"Okay so get this, Ryan is suffering from unexpected paralysis from the neck down. On top of that, he's sort of comatose as well," Sam explained and Dean huffed.

"Great, now I'm going to feel guilty for killing a guy who's struggling to stay alive," Dean shook his head and Castiel started fidgeting with his hands.

"Why are we even trying? Whatever he's going through is enough," The Angel tried to reason but Dean gave him a questioning look.

"Alright hold your horses Cas, what is up with you today? You look like you've murdered someone and you were determined to avenge [y/n]'s death," Dean furrowed his eyebrows, wanting a proper answer from the Angel.

"I-I don't want blood on my... h-hands," Castiel responded and Dean raised his eyebrows. He had nothing to say.

At least for you... this once. You had to have died with a purpose. They can't just move on and let the person who killed you live.

You continued to watch the show, it had got interesting but you wished that they were really just acting and that they wouldn't hurt that guy.

You had called Gabriel too, to join your afternoon of watching your favourite show. He made some popcorn and brought done fizzy drinks. He's great, he keeps you happy in your lonely heaven. He does more than enough given that he supposedly died. Gabriel surely sticks to his trickster title.

"Is it possible for me to visit them?" You asked, out of the blue. He sat up in his seat and looked at you with squinted eyes.

"Why would you ask that?"

"Just... wondering."

He paused then relaxed in his seat, "You can go to them but it breaks every rule. Plus, you can't touch the ground. It's a legend hat you'd evaporate because you are really just a soul down on Earth."

You nodded, continuing to nibble on your butter popcorn. You just miss them so bad.

*****

"So if he was paralyzed from home, who brought him to the hospital?" Sam thought aloud, "He has no one with him over here."

Castiel looked tense, his jaw was clenched and he was barely breathing. "What do you think Cas?" Sam questioned, "Who brought him to the-"

"You never guess what the doctor told me huh?!" Dean said, anger laced his words, "Cas you better listen to this. Maybe you can help us figure it out!"

"So the person who admitted Ryan into the ER was a man about six foot tall, with messy black hair and blue eyes," Dean paused, licking his lips with rage, "Oh and what's more, he wore a tan trench coat!"

Dean placed his hand on his hips and looked to the Angel. "Anyone we know who matches that description Cas?!" Dean interrogated and Castiel looked to the floor, ashamed.

Sam was utterly confused. "Cas, you knew about his condition? Why didn't you tell us?!" Sam blurted a bunch of questions, "How did you know that he was paralyzed?"

"Yeah Cas, don't let what happened with Crowley happen again! How could you do this to us man?" Dean looked at him with disbelief. Castiel tightened his hands into fists.

The Winchesters kept arguing, Castiel said nothing.

At a point it had got too much.

"OKAY! I did that to him!" Castiel revealed, "I made him paralyzed because killing him isn't what [y/n] would want us to do! She was such a peaceful person, she hated being a hunter because she hated having blood on her hands... And neither do I."

He crossed him arms, the Winchesters were speechless. "If you think about it, it's better this way. He's suffering in pain and misery for longer. Death would be sudden," Cas said quietly.

Dean ran a hand through his hair. He couldn't believe what the Angel had just said.

He clenched his jaw and looked at Castiel, stepping closer to him. "Well I don't mind blood on my hands, especially if it's for someone I care," Dean stated and walked into Ryan's room.

Cas looked at Sam then hastened after Dean. "No, don't do it!" Castiel exclaimed, watching Dean about to pull the plug on Ryan's life-support.

SCCCREEEEEEECHHHH!

A flashing bright light flooded the hospital room. The boys shielded their eyes, confused and scared at the unexpected light.

As it died down, they uncovered their eyes, unable to comment at what they were seeing in front of them.

"[y/n]?!" Dean and Sam exclaimed in unison. Castiel was close to fainting from the sudden overwhelming appearance.

"Hi boys, what's up?" You said and smiled. They stood up and scanned your body from top to bottom. Dean kept staring at your feet, at the fact that you weren't touching the ground and were levitating.

"W-What are you doing here?" Sam asked, close to tears. You moved closer to them, looking at each of them one by one.

"Just stopping you from killing that guy over there," You gestured to the comatose Ryan and the boys looked ashamed.

"Cas was right, I don't want you to kill him," You explained. "But he kil-"

You interrupted him by saying, "I know Dean but that doesn't mean we go down to his low level and act like him. We're hunters, hell you're a Winchester. You hunt things but you already know what revenge does to you. It's never enough."

A tear rolled down his cheek. "We... m-miss you [y/n]," He said and you smiled sadly. "Well know that I'm always thinking about you guys. Castiel can visit but I wish you could come and see my Heaven. It's got pictures of us and this..." You looked around, "This is my favourite show. Whatever is happening to you guys is shown to me like a TV show. Keeping Up With The Winchesters... And Castiel."

You laughed and they smiled.

"I should go, it was so nice to see you guys in person," You said, "Take care boys and don't... kill anything in my name!"

You started to move away from them but Sam asked, "How did you come here? From what we know, would in Heaven can't go out from there."

You bit your lip. "I had to break a few rules but I managed to get out, for a little bit before they notice that I'm here," You answered but Sam still looked confused.

You sighed and thought for a moment but decided to tell him. "He's probably going to kill me for this, permanently but... Gabriel helped me. He's not dead."
