Misha parked the car in the first empty spot he found, cutting the ignition and getting out of the vehicle. You got out as well and wrapped a wooly scarf around your neck. The weather was slightly chilly.

Misha put on his favourite hoodie and took out the gift you both got for the Randalls, a couple you've known for a while now who have an 8 month old son.

You hugged onto Misha's arm then kissed him on the cheek. He smiled softly and you both walked into the coffee shop ahead.

You immediately spotted the small family of three sitting by the window, with a beautiful seaview. You smiled widely and went over, greeting them and hugging both husband and wife.

"Happy birthday Jessica!" You told the wife and handed her the gift you had brought for her. "Oh you guys! You're so sweet," She said and hugged you again, "Thank you [y/n], Misha!"

You both were about to sit down but their son started making cute noises to get your attention. You walked over to him and picked him up from the high chair.

"Hi Xavier! How are you doing?" You kissed his cheek and bounced him a bit. He smiled but constantly looked at Misha with fascination. You gave Xavier to your husband, who seemed a little hesitant at first.

Xavier started to play with the zip on Misha's hoodie then gave him the toy car he had in his hand. "Wow, he likes you Misha! He only gives his special car to people he likes," Jessica explained and Misha smirked.

"Of course he likes me. Who doesn't?"

*****

You watched Misha bond with the baby. It made you happy. He's usually very cautious and concerned around children. The smile started to disappear from your face when remembering previous times with kids.

"Xavier look at those birds! Aren't they pretty?" Misha continued to talk to him while holding him in his arms.

"Misha's found a new friend!" John Randall said and you smiled softly. "I, uh... He isn't usually like this around kids. I'm happy for him," You said, feeling anxious for some reason.

"Speaking of kids, what's your plan? When will we see little Collins running around?" Jessica asked and you swallowed hard. "I -I don't know, we haven't... Talked about it," You said shakily.

"But you guys are intimate right?" She questioned and you felt like crawling into a hole "Y-Yeah... Pretty intimate actually but-"

"Hey stop interrogating her Jess!" John playfully nudged his wife's arm and she gave him a fake frown, "Let them decide when the time it right."

"Alright then," She put her hand out in defence, "But having a child is a blessing. Nothing can match how great it is. I mean, look at how happy Misha is right now."

You continued to look at Misha though now all you did was frown.

"Okay now I think Xavier is getting tired of hanging out with me," Misha alerted for help while the baby cried for his mom.

Misha walked over to Jessica and gave Xavier to her. "And here is our car!" You noticed that you had taken a whole round of the block.

"Thanks for the great time guys! We should meet up again soon," Misha said and shook John's hand. You said your farewells as well and the Randalls made their way to their car.

"Think about our small talk," Jessica whispered to you and winked discreetly. You smiled nervously and waved at them as they walked away.

Misha pecked you on the lips and you wrapped an arm around his waist. "You had fun with the little guy, huh?" You said and Misha smiled smugly, understanding your reference to Xavier.

*****

You fidgeted with your hands.

Should I talk to him? No, it'll be weird all of a sudden, You thought, But isn't it time we have a family?

You were so mentally conflicted that you wanted to cry. You spotted Misha on the couch watching TV and looking extremely relaxed.

"Hey sweetheart," He smiled and gestured for you to sit beside him. You bit your lip and took a seat on the couch.

He started to get up and you asked him what he was doing. He said that he was refilling his cup of coffee. You offered to help him out. The room felt tense and sitting by him didn't help.

You had to walk back extra slowly to avoid spilling the hot liquid, your hands were trembling with anxiety.

You took a deep breath and faced him after sitting down. He didn't suspect anything until you switched the TV off. "I-I wanted to talk to you," You said and he nodded. He continued to remain calm. He wasn't aware of the discussion you were going to have with him.

"Alright," You took a deep breath and wondered how to make you point, "We got married three years ago and it's been a great three years, no question about it, but-"

He put his hand out and you stopped speaking abruptly. Misha put his cup of coffee down then nodded. "But it's been only you and me for too long. I know where you're going with this," He continued and your heart was thumping in your chest.

"It's just that you were so happy today with Xavier and it made me feel over the moon. You're always a bit away from children and seeing you like that was great," You said in a rush then took a breath, "All I'm saying is that maybe we should think about a child. It'll be a good change in our routine."

He continued to stare at you and you felt scared. You sighed, "I'm sorry, I think I should just sleep. Forget this, sorry."

You started to get up but he held your arm. "Why the hell are you sorry?" Misha asked, "I've felt this feeling of emptiness for a while now, as if something's missing from our lives. It's true, we've been '[y/n] and Misha Collins alone' for too long. I thought you weren't comfortable with it so I didn't-"

"What? No way! I've wanted a baby ever since Jessica had hers," You clarified and Misha furrowed his eyebrows, "I thought you weren't for the idea because you always act withdrawn around kids."

"I act like that because I don't want them to go through the tough times j went through while growing up," He stopped and looked it the floor, "The homelessness and money at times."

"We're in a stable position baby," You told then nodded, "It's up to you honey. You'll be the finances part of the family. I'm just here to grow the child and give birth." You chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.

You noticed that his coffee bad gone cold so you got up after picking it up and headed towards the kitchen.

Upon coming back Misha stood up and said, "Okay let's do it." You smiled slightly then hugged him, "We'll sit down one day maybe this week and talk about it in detail considering everything." He smiled and pecked your lips.

All of a sudden the nearest living room wall hit your back. You widened your eyes in surprise. Misha wrapped his arms around your waist.

"Let's do it right here, right now," He stated and you swallowed hard. "I thought you wanted to talk-," You said and he shrugged.

"We already talked," He told, "We'll find our way. As long as we're a happy family we'll be alright."

You weren't completely on board with his attitude right now and he sensed it. "I feel like it's a 'now or never' situation, if you get what I mean," He said and you nodded understandingly.

"If you're happy then I'm happy," You said and pulled him closer, "Let's have a baby then."

*****

He kissed you passionately one last time before climbing off you. You were suddenly hit with a wave of cold wind. You wrapped yourself in the duvet, wishing that Misha was as close to you as he was five minutes ago.

"Shit that was the best sex I've ever had," Misha said breathlessly. You were breathing heavily too and mumbled, "Y-Yeah. I think I'll definitely become pregnant. Yay, we'll have a baby by next year."

He turned to look at you with confusion, "You don't seem excited, I thought you wanted this." You looked at him with unreasonable concern.

You leaned on your arm and sighed, "I don't want to regret this. I mean, I'll never regret having a baby but I hope this is the right time. Are we prepared?"

"Hey what did I say before? We'll find our way through the good, the bad and the ugly. Nothing we can't survive when we're a family," He said, observing your facial features in awe as if he was seeing it for the first time.

He caressed your cheek and took a deep breath, "Look I love you okay? Just think of it, a baby will be in this house very soon! Isn't it great?!"

You laughed and rolled your eyes, "You have to wait nine months for that, and it's not even confirmed if I'm pregnant!"

He held your hand and pulled on it, forcing you to lay down next to him, no gap between you both. His direct body heat felt comforting on your bare skin.

He ran a hand through his hair and breathed out, "Wow this excitement is unhealthy." You giggled.

"Even if I am pregnant, be prepared to encounter months of sickness and moodiness and demands and stress and-"

"Hey, I'll do anything for my girl. You just relax and leave the worrying to me."
