Overprotective Castiel X Reader

Requested by DeanWinchester11283 Thank you! Plus my sprucing up lol.

One part of this reminds me of when Appa was Bison-napped and Aang was pissed at the sand benders for doing it and when into the Avatar State and Katara calmed him down. You'll be able to figure it out hopefully.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Most hunter couples you met were never officially married, most of them just called it good enough considering the life span of them and their relationships. But then again, most hunters weren't in a 4 year, stable relationship with an angel. Nor were they five months pregnant with said angel's baby.
But you were so sick of it. What is this "it"? The fact that Castiel would not let you leave the bunker what so ever. His blue eyes were glued on you the moment he found out the news, watching you eat, sleep, an you had to force him out of the bathroom on more than one occasion. It was insane, the amount of pain in the ass he was causing. You loved your angel, but enough was enough.
"Cas, just let me leave, just for a little bit. You can stay with me, I just want to go outside." You pleaded.
"(Y/N), I love you, but I must also protect you. No."Cas replied with his usual statement.
"It's not good for me, to be cooped up like this. I want to leave. To get some fresh air." You once again told him.
"The other angels will track you. They know when a Nephilim is being made, and when it is being born. They don't know where we are because of the safety of this bunker. I refuse to let you go." He reinstated.
"Cas please! I can't stand it in here!" You were down to your last straw.
"Dammit (Y/N) I said no!" Castiel roared, sending objects flying throughout the room. But his face softened when he met your eyes. "I can't lose you.." He whispered, barely audible.
"Come here." You demanded.
Cas looked like a defeated puppy, shoulders slumped, eyes droopy. He walk over to you until your belly touch his abdomen. He looked down into your (E/C) irises. You placed both hands on his cheeks.
"I'm not mad at you, but I am very frustrated and antsy. My hormones aren't helping with that either. But you have to let me get out some! If I can't be healthy neither can the baby." You placed his hand on your stomach.
Cas took a deep breath and leaned his forehead against yours, closing his eyes. "We will talk about it more tomorrow, you need to get some rest. I have a hunt with the Winchesters, I don't know when I will be back. But I love you." Cas gently pushed you towards him until you stood on your tippy toes to kiss him.
And just like that, he was gone, leaving but a single black feather in his place. You picked up your feather and smirked devilishly.
Your plan had just got in motion.
You gotten out your phone and called the person who would make it all happen.
"Hey Ellen, Cas just left. Now would be the perfect time to drop by." You spoke into the phone.
"I'm already there." She hung up.
You dashed up the stairs and grabbed your pre-packed duffle bag. Slipping on a jacket and some boots, you walked on of the bunker, first time in weeks. So you took your time getting to Ellen's vehicle, enjoying the wonder of the night sky.
"Hey honey, it's good to see you." Ellen leaned over to give you a hug when you got into the car.
"You too, Ellen. It's been too long, hasn't it?" You smiled.
"Yeah, you used to swing by everyday. It's been lonely. But I'm glad that you found Cas, even if he did get you knocked up." She teased.
"Ellen!" You gasped, but knew she was only kidding. "Well, we better find out before said angel finds us out."
"Good plan." Ellen sped off onto the road, pushing it past the speed limit to get you back to The Roadhouse quicker.
You had called Ellen a few days ago, telling her about your overprotective boyfriend and how you just needed to leave. She told you it was no problem smuggling you from the bunker. And so she drove down and waited in a motel until the coast was clear to grab you and run. You knew there was hell to pay when Cas finds out you were gone, but you thought that it was worth it. You couldn't get through his thick skull no matter how hard you tried.
But you did take all the necessary precautions. Turning off tracking systems in all electronic devices. Cell phone, computer, radio, or otherwise. You left nothing for Sam to hack his way through and find you. Ellen had driven a both non suspicious car that the Winchesters had no clue they owned. Jo and Ash both knew that you were saying and if the boys called, they wouldn't say a word. Angel warding was also put up around the building too, knowing the bar may be one of his first stops.
"I really appreciate you doing this Ellen, I haven't been out in forever." You told her.
"Of course, I did it too when I was pregnant with Jo, my husband never let me out of sight. I know the struggle." Ellen said. "How did Cas handle the news?"
"Well he sat down for about an hour and wouldn't talk, then he threw stuff around, after that he apologized and hasn't let his eyes off me since. So, like any man would?" You laughed.
"You said it. Get some rest (Y/N), I will drive all night if I have to. Okay, hun?" Ellen had always treated you like one of her own, letting you stay at The roadhouse for long periods of time when you needed it. To you, she really was your mother.
"Alright, if you say so." You laid your head on the head rest and dozed off instantly.
***
The drive was only about 5 hours, from the bunker to The Roadhouse, so you slept the entire way through. Ellen had woken you up, you grabbed your duffle bag and sprung out of the car.
"Feels like home." You boasted walking through the doors with that familiar squeak of the hinges. There weren't as many people in the bar at 5 in the morning, but Jo was up managing the drinks and wiping down counters.
"Jo!" You squealed and ran over to hug her. You and Jo were basically sisters, considering you used to spend most of your time at the bunker.
"Damn, it's good to see you." She came out from around the counter and hugged you back, feeling the baby bump. "Cas's?" She grinned.
"Don't you know it, that boy can't get enough of me." You grinned.
"And is that why you are here?" She asked.
"Exactly the reason, he is keeping me prisoner at the bunker, I just needed to get out." You sighed.
"Well you are always welcome here. Well sit, can I get you anything?" She asked, going back around the bar.
"Well I would really like some alcohol, but I'll take some Sprite." You laughed.
"Coming right up."
You noticed a lump on a table begin to move and saw the famous mullet.
"Sup Ash." You greeted the now stumbling man.
"Are you the reason Ellen took away my gadgets?" He pointed a finger at you, resting his hand on the stool next to the one you were sitting in.
"Sorry, but Sam is a very good digital tracker, though, he has nothing on you."
"Damn straight." He burped and hauled himself up on the stool.
You had caught up with the Harvelle's, talking about nothing and everything. Just trying to get your mind off of the impending doom you were sure to face and some point.
Ellen heard the home phone ring, giving you a concerned glance and picked it up.
"Hello? Ah, Dean I haven't talked to you in forever, boy." She spoke, giving you a thumbs up.
"What? (Y/N) is missing? Since when? And isn't she pregnant? " Ellen questioned, damn, was she good at acting.
"What do you mean Cas has gone crazy?" This was genuine worry written on her face.
"I mean he has trashed the bunker and is searching every city in America for (Y/N)! Sam can't track her, we have no leads. I couldn't get Cas to settle down and he flashed without a second thought. I've never seen anything like this, he is more dangerous than any monster that I know of." Dean replied.
"Damn, I'll call you when I know something." Ellen hung up in a rush.
"I'm assuming it had to do with my disappearance?" You squeaked.
"Dean said he is on a rampage, and this is only the first day. It will probably get worse before long." Ellen sighed.
"Shit..." Your head snapped up to the TV when you heard the news come on.
"We have reports of single man in a trench coat, terrorizing towns. He has caused multiple explosions and many injured. We don't know how he is traveling so quickly, but more details at 5." The news reporter said.
"Castiel." You spoke. "What the hell!" You yelled, which earned you stares.
You had waited out the days, more reports flooded in about this one man army, destroying anything in his sight. Each day you got guiltier and guiltier. You just wanted to get out, but you had gone to far. The angel you loved had gone ballistic, and you were the cause. you were safe here, but he didn't know that. Cas was doing what any parent or significant other would, just on a more powerful level. He even smited a few bars, and the pit in your stomach worsened.
You were half tempted to ask to go home, so you discreetly began to chip away the warding on the building, just enough for it to be ineffective. And when it was all gone, you walked back into the bar, sat down on a stool, feeling  bit better knowing Cas had more of a chance to find you.
"You miss him don't you?" Ellen spoke up.
"...Yeah. I just feel guilty now. But he took away my freedom, so I'm giving him pat back." You pouted, trying to cover up your true feelings.
"But hasn't it been long enough? Is two weeks without him, enough payback?" She asked gently. "Your keeping him from you and from his child, and he is in outrage. The two thing he wants most on this world are gone."
You couldn't help but shed a tear or two. Damn pregnancy hormones. You sipped your water and took a deep breath. "Yeah, your right. I can't stand it anymore without him." You agreed. slamming your hand down on the counter in affirmation. You straightened your back and scooted the stool towards the counter.
You finally relented and answered Cas's 60 calls. He picked up after the first ring.
"(Y/N)." You heard his gruff voice, but you felt the strong emotions behind it. "Where are you?"
"I'm at The Roadhouse in Nebraska." You told him.
You had just begun to get off the stool when your foot slipped and you would have fell of not for a hunter grabbing you at the last moment.
"Thank you sir." You thanked him and stood back up, his hand still on his shoulder.
When you looked at the doorway, you saw an infuriated Castiel, angel blade in hand. His wings unfolding before everyone. His blue eyes wide with the promise of death for the one who touched what was his. The windows shattered and the power swirled around him, everyone ran and ducked for cover.
"You dare touch what is mine. You will pay with your life." Cas roared, the light around him brightening. He planned on killing everyone in this room except for you.
"CAS!" You screamed, running over to him. You threw your arms around his neck and pressed your lips to his skin. "Please stop! Do not kill anyone else!"
You felt the heavy weight of Cas's power being lifted from the air. But it did not calm his stance, he had backed you up against the wall. Shielding you from anyone's gaze. His eyes were still glowing, his wings still visible.
"We are safe, no one has caused us any harm." You whispered, kissing him on the forehead, cheeks, nose, and his lips. "Please talk to me."
"You left without any warning, you put yourself and our baby in danger. It was an extremely selfish move." He growled.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry, Castiel. I just needed to breathe. Please, forgive me. I won't leave again without your consent." You pleaded.
Cas's eyes softened, grabbing your waist and pulling you in. He kissed your hair, and rubbed your back. "Do you know how much I missed you? You are mine to protect, mine to cherish, and mine to love. I can't, I won't, lose you. Never again. But I will think more about your wishes than just shooting them down. I love you."
"I love you too." You leaned up and kissed him, hearing Ellen and Jo sigh in relief.
"Lets go home Cas." You told him, smiling. And without a second glance, he flashed him and his precious cargo back to the bunker.
"Lay down here." Cas pointed down to your bed.
"Why exactly?" You asked, doing so.
"So I can check on the baby." He carefully lifted up your shirt and placed his palm on your protruding belly. You felt a warm sensation as Cas closed his eyes.
"The child is well, no harm, nothing to be concerned about." Cas sighed with relief, but never taking his hand off.
"Thank God." You smiled.
Dean burst through the door of your room, with Sam behind him. "Okay, good. You really are back. Good to see ya." The boys walked in, giving you awkward smiles considering they just interrupted something special.
"Hello boys." You waved.
"Get out." Cas stood up and growled.
"Why? Just wanted to see if she and the kid were okay." Dean defended.
"I don't care, leave." Cas warned.
"Dean, lets just go and leave them be." Sam hissed.
"Fine, Sammy, have it your way. Has he always been this overprotective?" Dean asked, pointing at the angel.
"Yes, now go before I turn him loose on you too." You grinned, a glimmer in your eye.
The boys left in a hurry, Cas shut the door, happy the idiots left.
"I love you Cas."
"I love you too, (Y/N)."
