Chapter 4
They walk along a stone wall to the house. "Legend has it that the bones of a hundred children are buried within these walls." said Allison. "Oh, great." replied Dani. She grabs a hold of Sam's hand and tightens her grip. "Are you scared, Dani?" asked Sam. "Yeah...a little." nodded Dani. "It's going to be okay, me and my brother will handle it if anything goes wrong." said Sam. "Wow, Sam, you're so brave." Dani said hugging Sam's arm and putting her head on his shoulder. Allison looks over her shoulder at the two. "Aww, that's so cute." said Allison. "Yeah, that's a Winchester for ya, the ladies just can't resist us." Dean said before winking at Allison. The inside of the house is very dark. "I can't see a thing." said Dani. "Well there's a light switch around here somewhere." replied Allison. Max walks over to a display full of lighters and picks one up; he turns around to see that Dean had gotten a lighter from his pocket and helps Allison find the light switch. The room fills up with light and all five of them look around the room in awe.
Allison points a few things out about the house. She walks over to a display case with a book inside. "This is the spell book of Winifred Sanderson. It was given to her by the devil himself. The book is bound in human skin and contains the recipes for her most powerful and evil spells." said Allison. "I get the picture." Dani said with a shaky voice. "What's that?" asked Max pointing to a candle. "Oh, that's the black flame candle." Allison whispers to Max. Max walks over to the candle and reads the sign beside it. "Black Flame Candle. Made from the fat of a hangman. Legend says that on a full moon it will raise the spirits of the dead when lit by a virgin on Halloween night." he read. "So let's light the sucker and meet the old broads." Max said pulling out his lighter. "Dude, did you just openly admit you're a virgin?" Dean laughed. "N-no!" Max replied. He pouts and grumbles as he goes to light the candle. Then, out of nowhere, a black cat attacks Max; he manages to get the cat off of him and stand back up. "Stupid cat!" grumbled Max. "If I were you, I'd take that as a sign to get the h*ll out of here." said Dean. Now the others were beginning to get scared.
Sam walks up to Dean. "Dean, I have a bad feeling about this." said Sam. "Me too. If things get too serious, I'm calling Dad." said Dean. Sam nods in agreement. "Okay, Max, you've had your fun. It's time to go. Come on Allison, Sam, and Dean." said Dani very frightened. "Max, she's right, let's go." Allison agreed. "Oh, come on, it's just a bunch of hocus pocus." said Max. "Max, please, you don't know what the consequences are." said Sam. "Yeah, don't light that candle!" ordered Dean. "Whatever, man, you can't tell me what to do." Max said sourly. Max goes to light the candle. "Max, no!" screamed Dani. The golden flame of the candle turns black. "Uh oh." said Max. Dean rushes over and grabs the collar of Max's shirt. "What. Have. You. Done!" growled Dean. Suddenly strange things begin to happen.
The light bulbs on the chandelier pop, the floor begins to shake, and a green light shines from beneath. "What happened?" asked Max. "A virgin lit the candle." replied Dani. "We have to leave, now!" said Dean. The candles in the house ignite on their own as does the flames beneath the cauldron. "Everybody hide!" shouted Sam. Allison hides by herself, Max and Dean hide in the same place, and Sam and Dani hide behind the counter. The front door opens and the Sanderson Sisters enter. "We're home. Oh, sweet revenge. Do you see, sisters, my curse worked perfectly." said the eldest sister, Winifred. "Oh, that's because thou art perfect, Winnie. Oh, I knew I left this cauldron on, didn't I tell you? Oh, I knew it." said the next sister, Mary. The youngest sister, Sarah, reaches up for something and brings it down. "My lucky rat tail! Right where I left it!" she cheered. "But who lit the black flame candle?" asked Winifred. She spots her spell book in its glass case.
The witch strides over to the case. "Wake up! Wake up sleepy head. Oh, I've missed you. Did you miss me too? Come on now, we've got work to do." Winifred said tapping the glass. The single eye on the cover of the book opens. Mary goes up to Winifred and taps her on the shoulder. "Winnie?" she said. "Yes?" replied Winifred. "I smell children." Mary said in a sing-song voice. All the kids' faces grew anxious. "Sick 'em." Winifred said with a wicked grin. The three witches search the place. "It's a little girl. Seven, maybe eight and a half. Ooh, there's also a little boy, he's ten." said Mary. "Oh, let's play with them." said Sarah. She begins to sing her song, but Winifred puts her hand over her mouth. "Come out, my dearies. We will not harm thee." said Winifred. "We love children!" Mary said slamming her hand on the counter. Sam and Dani pop up from behind the counter.
