Prison Break

"Wait. So you're telling me it wasn't Moody?" Sam asked Dean the next day as they walk along the yard. "Not unless he liked going around dressed like a nurse. Poor Tiny, man. Poor giant Tiny." Dean said. "Wait, so this is – this is, like the ghost of some nurse who worked here or something?" Sam asked.

"I don't know, man. I guess." Dean said, shrugging. "You know what, Dean, at this point, I don't know isn't working for me. See, uh, I thought we were done. I called Deacon and he got ahold of (y/n). It's happening. We're getting out tonight." Sam said. "I guess we got to do some quick research, then." Dean said. "How? I mean, maybe you haven't noticed...we're in jail." Sam exclaims.

"So you want to know about some nurse?" Randall asked Sam, few minutes later. Sam nods. "Why you want to know?" He asked the boys. "Well, we got our reasons. But, uh...we'll make it worth your while." Dean said as he shows Randall a pack of cigarettes, which he takes.

"So, this nurse, she would have had white hair, one screwed up eye – is that ringing a bell?" Dean asked and Randall nods. "Yeah. Yeah, I remember her." He said. "You remember her name?" Dean asked. "No, that's still kind of fuzzy." Randall said.
Sam exhales, slightly amused, and the brothers look at each other. "Give it to him." Sam said. "I earned these." Dean said and Sam gives a slight shrug at this. "Dean." He said, annoyed and Dean hands Randall another pack of cigarettes.

"Glockner. Nurse Glockner. Nasty old bitch worked here in the '70s." Randall replied. "You knew her?" Sam asked. "I met her once. Had to get a tetanus shot. She damn near jabbed the needle through the other side of my arm. At least I got out of there alive." Randall said.

"What do you mean?" asked Sam. "I've heard these stories. I don't know if they were true. Cons love to talk, but we're all liars." Randall replied. "What kind of stories?" Dean asked. "Guys would go up to the infirmary with a cold. Next thing you know, they're in a body bag. A whole rash of heart attacks – young guys, old guys." Randall replied.

"Heart attacks?" Sam asked.  Yeah. Story was Glockner had it out for cons and she did this, uh, Charles Bronson thing with a hypodermic. Anyway, that was the rumor. Nobody ever proved anything." Randall said.

"Whatever happened to Glockner?" Dean asked him. "I don't know. I finished my bit and left. Next time I landed back in here, she was gone." Randall said.

Later, the boys were sitting at a small table in the dining area. "Okay, so let's say those stories on Glockner were true." Sam said. "It's a thought. You know, in life, she's a vigilante. In death, same thing." Dean said. "Right. But then how's she tied in with the old cellblock? And if she's going after cons, why kill that one guard?" Sam asked.

"I did hear in the yard that that guard wasn't exactly squeaky clean, so, maybe she's going after anybody that breaks a law. Like me." Dean said. "You 'heard in the yard'?" Sam asked and Dean nods. "Yeah."

"Dean, does it...bother you at all, how easily you seem to fit in here?" Sam asked him. "No, not really." Dean said. "All right. Well, listen, either way, we need more info on Glockner. If -- if she's buried. If so, where? And, we got five hours to get it." Sam said and Dean gives him a look.

"No, no. Don't give me that look. Don't give me that we got to see this thing through look. We are leaving tonight, no matter what." Sam said. "I just don't want to let Deacon down, that's all. We do owe him." Dean said. "Yeah, but we don't owe him our lives, Dean." Sam said and Dean gets up.

"Where you going?" Sam asked him.

"I'm gonna go talk with an old friend." Dean said and Sam sighs.

Dean and a woman, who was wearing a long jacket over her clothes, a hat and sunglasses and she was wearing make-up to look older, were talking on phone handsets while sitting on opposite sides of a glass window.

"You know it's very dangerous for me to be here." The woman said. "I know, (nickname). But I need your help. I need you to look up something for me." Dean said and the woman, (y/n), smiles. "Whatcha need, Winchester?" She asked.

"Her name was Glockner. She worked here as a nurse in the '70s. Now, I need you to find out everything you can about her, but, most importantly how she died and where she's buried." Dean said. "Okay, sure. I'll see what I can find." She said and Dean smiles. "Thanks, (nickname). Knew I could count on you." He said and she nods and smiles back at him.

Sam is walking across the yard when he sees Dean enter the yard and holds up a hand to catch his attention. "Hey, is she going to...?" Sam started to ask but Dean nods. "Of course she is. See? No problem!" Dean said.

"Well, we can't wait around." Sam said, firmly. "We could give it another day." Dean said. "No, no, no. We're leaving tonight, and that's it." Sam said. "So we're not gonna finish the job, we're just gonna let these people die?" Dean asked him. "Don't give me that, all right? This was your stupid plan. I went along with it, but we're sticking to the plan, Dean. And so did (y/n)." Sam said. "Okay. Uh, you leave. I'm gonna stay." Dean said and he starts to walk away.

"Hey, don't turn away. Don't turn away from me!" Sam yells. "Screw you." Dean growls at him. "What?! Screw you!" Sam yells back and he grabs Dean’s shoulder and spins him around. Dean pushes Sam back but then a guard grabs Sam and the Warden grabs Dean as another guard rushes in.

"All right, hard case. I see the usual methods ain't gonna work with you." He said then he turns to Sam. "You too, sweetheart." He said and a guard takes hold of Dean’s arms from behind and the Warden grabs the back of Sam’s jacket. The guard and Warden take Dean and Sam inside.

The guard marches the boys into a large room, the Warden following. "Take off. I want to handle this alone." The warden said to the guard. The guard nods and leaves while Sam looks wary. The Warden steps menacingly close to Dean, then smiles and puts a hand on the side of his neck.

"Deacon, you are beating the holy hell out of me, man." Dean said and Deavon turns him around so he can take off his handcuffs. "Sorry, Dean. I thought I was going easy on you." He said and Dean laughs. "Just, uh, trying to make it look real."

"Yeah. Well, mission accomplished." Dean said as Deacon takes off Sam’s handcuffs. "Thanks." Sam said. "So, is it over?" Deacon asked. "No. Turns out, it wasn't Moody." Sam said and Deacon's brow furrows.

"What?" He said, shocked. "Yeah." Sam mutters. "Then who?" Deacon asked. "Uh, we think it's some nurse who used to work here, but we're still shy on all the intel we need." Sam said. "Which is why we should stick around until we find it." Dean said to him.

"Oh, hey guys." Deacon said as he takes an envelope out of his jacket pocket but the boys continue to argue. "You want to have this fight for real, Dean? We gotta go." Sam said. "I’m just say–" Dean started to say. "We gotta go now!" Sam growls.

"Guys." Deacon said but they ignore him. "We're leaving, Dean. Otherwise, we'll be leaving in shackles for Milwaukee, with Henriksen as company." Sam yells. "Oh, come on." Dean grumbles.

"Guys!" Deacon yells. "What?!" Dean and Sam said, simultaneously. "Your friend left this for you." Deacon said as he holds up the envelope and Dean takes it. "Heh heh. Would you look at that!" Dean said as he opens the envelope. That's my girl. he thought as Sam said. "That was fast."
Dean pulls out the paper and reads it over. "Wow." He mutters. "What? You want to share with the class, Dean?"  Sam asked.

"Glockner died in the old cellblock after Moody bit it. Seems they had a little inmate uprising. She got caught in the middle. They dragged her to a solitary cell and gave her a severe cerebral edema." Dean said and Deacon and Sam look at this surprise.

"Someone bashed her head in." Sam said. "Yeah." Dean whispers. "Does it say where she's buried?" Sam asked him. "Yep." Dean said. "All right, then, let's get you the hell out of here." Deacon said to them. "Don't worry, Deacon. We'll get rid of this thing." Dean said as Deacon removes a vent cover on a wall.

"Good, 'cause I want it out of my prison." He said and he walks back over to the boys. "Boys, uh...I can't thank you enough for this. I know it was asking a lot but you still came through. Your daddy...raised you right. And give my thanks to (y/n) as well." Deacon said and the boys nodded. "Well, we owed you." Sam said and Dean looks at Sam. "Yeah." Deacons said.

Then he pulls Sam into a hug, then does the same to Dean. "Hope to see you again, huh? Just...not in here, okay?" Deacon said and the boys nodded. "Yeah, we'll do our best." Sam said just as Dean said. "Right."

The boys head for the vent, then Dean turns back to Deacon. "Oh...Where do you want it?" Dean asked Deacon, who looks confused. "What?" He asked and Dean smiles then Deacon realized what he was meaning. "Yeah, um..." Deacon said then he points to his cheek.

Dean pulls back his arm to swing a punch but Deacon holds up a hand. "Um...Make it look real, son." He said and Dean punches Deacon.

Later, the boys climb over railings outside the prison to the car where (y/n), now looking her normal self and in her regular clothes, was standing nearby. "Oh, man, are you a sight for sore eyes." Dean said as they walk up. "You talking to me or the car?" (Y/n) asked, teasingly, and Dean chuckles.

"Maybe I'm talking to both. I'll let you figure it out." Dean said as he runs his hand along the Impala. She just shakes her head and chuckles before she hugs Sam. The boys then open the driver and passenger doors and take off their prison jackets.

"You know, I almost wish I could see Henriksen's face." Dean said. "Really? 'Cause I'd be happy if I never saw him again. I mean, we're not really out of the woods yet, Dean, you know?" Sam said and they put on their own jackets over their prison jumpsuits. "Yeah." Dean mutters as (y/n) hands him the car keys.

Then an alarm sounds and a red light above one of the prison doors starts to flash. "Time to move it, boys." (Y/n) said and they get into the Impala and drive away.

The trio make their way to the cemetery then they get out of the car and start taking shovels and bags out of the trunk of the Impala. Then they set off across the cemetery. Moments later, Dean was standing over a grave holding a flashlight. The headstone reads Dolores Glockner 1934 – 1976.

Sam and (y/n) were in the grave, digging. Finally, they reach the coffin and the two look up at Dean. "Got her." Sam said and they get the coffin open, revealing her corpse. Sam salts Nurse Glockner’s corpse and (y/n) pours on lighter fluid. After pouring the fluid over the corpse, Dean lights a match and the corpse goes up in flames as the trio watch the corpse burn.

After the corpse goes up in flames, they are hurry back to the Impala. Then they put their equipment in the trunk of the Impala and walk to the driver’s and passenger’s and back doors.

"You thought we were screwed before?" Sam asked him. "Yeah, I know. We got to go deep this time." Dean said. "Deep, Dean? We should go to Yemen." Sam said. "Ooh, I'm – I'm not sure I'm ready to go that deep." Dean said and the trio get in the Impala and drive away.
