It was around 9:30 in the evening, and you were lying on the couch in the bunkers main living room. Already in PJ's, and resting on top of Dean. But it wasn't just you and your boyfriend. Oh no, the new baby was with you. A very cute and bubbly puppy that you couldn't help but fawn over.

A very tiny fuffly German Shepherd puppy. You already owned a fully grown male German Shepherd, and he sat by you looking at the puppy, his head on your hip bone. Probably remembering his own days of being an itty bitty puppy that Mommy could pick up and cuddle.

Dean scratched Kodi's (the older dog) head.

"Don't worry tough guy, we still love ya,"

(Y/n) looked over at Kodi. "Aw yes, baby. Mommy still loves you," she scratched behind Kodi's pointed ears.

The puppy scampered over (Y/n)'s bell, making her laugh as it tickled. It sniffed Kodi, and gave a cute little bark. And wagged it's little tail enthusiastically.

"Kodi I think the baby likes you," (y/n) said, scratching Kodi some more. Kodi just looked at (y/n) and Dean with eyes that said, "do we have to keep it?"

"Come on big guy, Teddi isn't that bad. You can train em up to be big and strong like you and me. We can all protect Mommy,"

At the words protect Mommy, Kodi perked up. He would not be put off from his number one job by some silly puppy. However Teddi saw his motions of sitting up straight and being alert, and imitated them shortly before getting up to jump up and down again.

"Good boy Teddi! Good Boy!" (Y/n) swooned as the puppy excitedly bounced around, clearly proud of his accomplishment. Kodi, looked fondly at the little puppy. Dean watched it all unfold and was finally, truly happy with his life.

A wonderful girlfriend, that he planned to marry one day. A big guy and little guy to take care of. Everything was perfect.
