Halloween Costume Chat
"Are we dressing up this year?" You asked somewhat sarcastically, as you and Dean strolled through the local supermarket behind Sam. He did most of the grocery shopping, while you and Dean just got to leisurely stroll and hold hands.
"Maybe we should," he laughed.
"Did you ever get a chance to dress up as a kid?" You ask.
"Yeah two or three times. I went as Batman,"
"Of course you did," you giggle.
"What bout' you? Princess every year til' you were 12?" He joked.
"Well no," you admitted "I've been a lot of things but don't think Princess has made the list yet,"
"What have you been?" The genuine curiosity in his voice urged me to keep talking.
"I was a jaguar for the first 3 years of my life, ya know with my mum. I still have that costume actually, it's a bit of an heirloom,"
"Aw, your mom wanted you to pass it on?"
"Well, it would have gone to my younger siblings, but well that's me now..."
"New topic, no sad stuff today," he said hastily, Dean didn't mind talking about this as nigh anymore, but never in public this way.
"Well, I was two things from wonderland. I was Alice when I was 14 and the Mad Hattress when I was 16,"
"That was just before we met, yeah?" You thought for a moment.
"Yeah, that's right. Christmas. We were 16 and 17 years old at good ole Uncle Bobby's house,"
Dean laughed, "Those were good times,"
"Mhm,"
Sam poked his head out from around the corner
"Come on love birds,"
