Night Before the Midterm Examination

I SMILED WHILE LOOKING AT MY PHONE. I looked at Kiyo, who was cleaning his room. By the way, I'm in his room. Maybe I will tell the chairman that I and Kiyo will share the same room, Kidding. I don't know who the chairman is.

"You seem relaxed, I hope our plan for tomorrow will succeed." Kiyo said to me. I hugged the pillow and popped my head outside the blanket.

"Of course, our plan will work." I said and sat up on the bed. I show my phone on Kiyo. Kiyo looked at it and just nodded.

"Oh is that link wherein Karuizawa is talking about?" I nod and show the Ikemen Ranking.

"You're in 5th Place while me in 2nd place." I facepalm, why am I in 2nd place! I'm not that handsome. Yeah I'm handsome and hot but not that hot and handsome to vote for. Kiyo is patting my head.

"You're popular aren't you?"

"Tsk look who's talking, we both are popular tsk. Anyways, we can use this popularity to widen our connection." I said while smirking, and Kiyo just smacked my head.

"Ittai."

"Stop smirking, you look like a devil."

THE DAY OF MIDTERMS WAS FINALLY HERE. In the morning, Chiyabashira-sensei walked into the classroom with a smile.

"No absences, looks like everyone's here." she said to everyone as she looked around and her gazed stop on me. I smile and smirk.

"This is the first obstacle to being able to stay in school. Does anyone have any questions?"

"We have been studying diligently for the past few weeks. I don't think there will be any dropouts in this class, you know?"

"You have a lot of confidence, Hirata." I smiled slightly, because we spend our time studying together. We had spent days going through all the tough topics, and we had solved the entire question paper the other day. I was sure everyone would pass. Even Sudo looked more confident than before. Looks like Horikita had done a good job in squishing some information into his hard skull.

All the other students also had a look of confidence. Lining up the tests by tapping them against the table, she then passed them out. First period is social studies. I guess you can call it the easiest test among all the subjects.

If anyone trips up here, honestly, all the other tests will be a difficult struggle.

"If no one fails this midterm and the finals in July, everyone will get a summer vacation."

"Vacation?"

"Yea, that's right... You'll be on a dream-like vacation on an island surrounded by the blue sea."

Summer and the beach means... we'll be able to see the girl's swimsuits...

Chiyabashira-sensei took a step back from the pressure she felt from the students (mainly the boys). I'm also excited, I want to relax my mind. I think I used my 0.05% energy for this midterms so I deserve a vacation. Give me that now!

Ike loudly shouted in agreement. I look at Kiyo who also shouts. I chuckle. He looks innocent and cute.

"Pervert." Yeah yeah, boys are sucks except Kiyo.

Horikita glanced at me. No more sound came out of my throat.

Before long, the tests were handed out to everyone. And with the teacher's signal, everyone started at the same time.

Looking through the problems, I quickly scanned over the whole test. Can the trio pass the test? I checked if the questions were similar to the old test questions.

Alright. I smirk, victory. I will try to get a 90's score this time.

AND THEN IT WAS BREAK TIME. I sigh and look around. Some of the study group members, like Ike, Yamauchi, Kushida, and Horikita all gathered.

"This is an easy pass!"

"I feel like I'll get a 120 this time!"

Ike was pretty relaxed. From the smile on his face, Yamauchi also looked pretty relieved. Thank me and Kiyo then. I looked at Horikita who is currently talking to Sudou.

I listen to their conversation.

"I said I did ev-everything in English but I dozed off in the middle." I sigh. Really Sudou? I looked at Kiyo who was also sighing. We did all our best.. Well not totally.

"Arison!" Someone called me, I looked at who it was. It was Maya Sato. I smiled at her. I looked to her back, as was my group in the group study. I smiled at them.

"Thank you Arison, I think I'll score well in this midterm examination. So give me my first prize!" I sigh, Nene Mori just laughs and also the other.

Her Prize? Of course headpats. I just chuckle and give her a headpats. I looked around and I almost choked my saliva. They were giving a death glare and jealous glare to Maya Sato, so I quickly removed my hands on her head.

"Headpats me again when the results come out okay!?"

I just smiled at her. Can someone take me out of here right now! Of course God loves me because someone just grabbed my wrist. It was Horikita. She was glaring at me.

Did I do something wrong!? Please tell me right away so I can run!

"Can you tell me the plan that you did in this Midterm Examination."

"I didn't do– Yes yes I will tell you to be patient." Horikita is really abusing us, especially Kiyo. She keeps hitting him with a compass. Tsk.

I looked at Kiyo, who was sighing. "Kiyo will help me to explain." he nodded and we started explaining what we planned in the midterms so no one would be expelled.

Third Person's Point of View

Flashback 2 days ago before the Midterm Exam

A CERTAIN LONG BLACK HAIR AND BROWN HAIR BOY, they're currently eating while looking around. Then they both looked at each other when they already located their target.

The brown hair looked at his partner.

"You can handle this right?"

"Are you underestimating my acting?" the long hair boy said while crossing his arm. Ayanokouji just sigh and with that they both stand up and go to their target or in short senpai.

That student sighed as he sat down staring at his cheap display of food.

"Excuse me.You're an upperclassman, right?" The student perks to see two other students sitting down on the same table as him. Arison just smiled at him and stared at the senpai's food.

"I'm Ayanokoji from Class 1-D. You're in D too, right? '' Kiyotaka asks as he sits beside the student while Arison is sitting beside him.

The student looked down. " Yeah.." Arison smirks at the response.

Arison tilts his head to see a normal meal but he can also see the sourness of the soup and the bitterness of the vegetables sitting on the tray, basically the cultural meal for a farmer.

" That meal is free right?? " Arison asks.

The student looked wary and didn't even answer the question.

"What do you want?"

"We want to consult with you about something." Kiyotaka answered.

"Of course, I'll make it worth your while. "

"Consult? "

"Do you have the questions from your first midterm two years ago?"

Arison just keep listening to their conversation, letting Ayano-kun handle it all, he got some plan of course if the upperclassmen didn't agree.

" Huh? " The student looked taken back.

"I want you to give them to me." Kiyotaka plainly said.

"Why are you speaking to me about this?"

Arison speaks up as he leans forward to the upperclassman with an innocent face that anyone couldn't ignore.

"It's simple. These low points would give us more chances to secure a deal. And seeing you eat that not so good meal. It's a pretty fair deal to me."

The student looked hesitant at the two boys.

"How much will you pay?"

'Victory.' Arison thought as he grinned but he not show this to the upperclassman.

" Ten thousand- "

" Fifteen thousand points. "

Kiyotaka turned to face Arison who leaned his head on his palm looking away. He's catching up on what he's doing. Arison just sighs.

The student shook his head.

" These risks cost me a lot, about two times the 15,000 and make it 30,000 points at the very least. "

'This senpai is a sure pain in ass.' Arison thought.

"I'm afraid that's not possible." Kiyotaka said, Arison also nodded.

"No deal then." The student answered firmly. Arison just sighed to himself. 'I guess I really need to use my skills huh.' He closed his eyes and stared at the upperclassman.

"Wait a minute."

The student jolted and looked at him. Then in a flash, on his vision is a boy who looked determined with him sparkling pleading eyes and his soft and angelic voice.

"A friend of ours might get expelled! Please, we need your help."

Suddenly an arrow shot the guy's heart as his cheeks glow red. Arison smirk and Kiyotaka just shook his head.

"Ten thousand. " Kiyotaka said.

"Twenty-five thousand." The guy said unwilling to give up. Arison just still looked at the upperclassman with admiration.

"Ten thousand."

"Twenty thousand.."

"Ten thousand."

"Hmmm Fifteen thousand, Please we don't have any points right now." The student closed his eyes and blush at the action of the Long hair boy.

"Fine, fifteen thousand! I can't get any lower than that."

Kiyotaka smirks a little. 'That's my Axel.'

Kiyotaka sighed. "Very well. It's a deal. In exchange, please include your quizzes from the first term. "

"Okay.. "

Arison beamed. "Thank you so much." After saying that, he went back to his original self. The upperclassman was still staring at the Long hair boy.

'Who is this boy, he suddenly became cute and now...hot. Fuck I'm not gay!' Upperclassman thought while blushing.

"Hi, we're sending the points now." Axel said then he leaned to the ears of the upperclassman and whispered.

"Don't forget the deal, this conversation is recorded. If you did not send the test paper, you're dead." Axel said while smiling, the upperclassman started shaking and just fastly nodded.

Kiyotaka just sighs and just grabs Axel outside of the Cafeteria.

THE TWO BOYS IS CURRENTLY SEATING ON THE BENCH, Axel just leaning on Kiyotaka's shoulder while yawning. Kiyotaka tilted his head and patted Axel's head.

"You should sleep, I will wake you up when Karuizawa-san is already here." Kiyotaka said, Axel stand up straight and do some stretching.

"Don't worry, I'm just tired." Kiyotaka just nodded.

While waiting, Kiyotaka's phone rings.

RING

Kiyotaka picks up his phone to find a photo of a test score. The two boys are going to check the photos but someone calls Axel.

"Arison!" Axel just smiled and waved his hand when the jolly girl arrived. Kei Karuizawa. Currently has the power to control all the girls inside the class.

"Oho Arison, Are you planning to confe–" Axel shut up by grabbing her mouth and closing it using his hand. She crosses her arms.

"I'm just kidding, I have Hirata already hehe. So what's up?" She said while smiling. Axel just sighs and picks the phone of Kiyotaka and shows it to her.

"What is this? Sugoi!"

"This is the midterms examination." Kiyotaka said, making Karuizawa clapper her hand and grabbed the both hands of Axel, making Axel taken back quite a bit.

"Easy Karuizawa."

"Look at this." Kiyotaka said as he showed our test paper and the upperman test paper when he was in first year.

"It's the same. Exactly like ours." The two boys nod their heads.

"Let's show it to everyone!" Karuizawa cheered. Axel shook his head, making Karuizawa confused by his decision.

Kiyotaka shook his head. " No, we won't show it to them yet. "

" Why not? "

" Say we reveal the questions the day before the test. What will our classmates do then? " Kiyotaka asked.

Karuizawa started to think and smiled. "They'll work desperately to memorize the questions!" Then Axel claps his hand.

"You're also a smart Ayanokouji-kun! Of course Arison is smart from the start." She said, making Axel chuckle.

"Then what am I going to do?" she said while tilting her head.

"You're going to show that paper a day before the Exam." Kiyotaka said. Karuizawa was going to nod but she got cut off by Kiyotaka.

"But Could you tell them you're the one who got them the questions?" Karuizawa forze and stared at the two boys.

"I don't want to." Axel smiled and smirked. 'That's why I like Karuizawa more than other girls in our class.' On his thoughts.

"I'm not taking your credit for this."

"Then tell them we two got those past questions? How about that." Axel said, Kiyotaka looked at him and seemed to understand the situation.

"Yeah, Axel is the one who suggested and planned this. I just helped him so... yeah." Kiyotaka said, making Karuizawa satisfied.

"Noted, I'll carry this miss–." she got cut off again by Arison.

"Yeah yeah." Then after that Karuizawa left the place. The two boys just sighed.

"Are you sure about that? You will become more popular, you know." Kiyotaka said. Axel looked at him and patted his head.

"If this is the only way to protect you and our freedom, I don't mind doing anything."

Axel smiled, making Kiyotaka's heart beat faster.

"By the way, I have another person in me that can also deliver this mission perfectly." Kiyotaka said.

"Who?"

"Kikyo Kushida." by that Axel coughs and starts waving his hand while shaking his head.

"Definitely not! I don't like her. Besides, I don't want to have a conversation with a snake."

Day before the Midterm Examination

IT WAS A BUSY DAY IN SCHOOL. The students in class 1-D still converted to each other cheerfully but inside their heart skipped a beat. It all stopped when the door opened revealing two people, a Blonder hair girl and Long hair boy.

"Hai Hai Everyone, Can I have your attention please." Karuizawa said while smiling.

"There's something Me and Arison want to give you before you go. "

Axel came in with papers on his hand with a smile and started to give to the student inside the class.

As the students got their hands on the papers they instantly got amazed.

The blonde-haired girl, Kushida stares at the test sheet.

"Did you two make this? "

"Actually, they're questions from an earlier test."

"Past questions? " Ike asks as he looks up from the sheet he's holding.

"A third-year student gave them to us last night. He said pretty much the same questions have appeared on the test the last two years." Axel smiled proudly at Kei when she definitely memorized her line.

Arison then walked beside her with a raised hand, he added. "Anyways this paper we bet they'll be useful on our test tomorrow, so use it to get a perfect score." After that he smiled.

'He's an angel!' Class D's thought while the girls have heart shapes on their eyes while the boys are blushing.

"Are you kidding me?!" Ike stands up with a relieved look as he hugged the paper.

"Heck, I didn't have to run myself ragged studying all this time." Yamauchi said.

"This is great!" Sudo even smiled and blushed while looking at Axel..

Of course the all mighty Kenji I mean Koenji declined the paper and said 'I don't need that, I can score well without that.'

"Now all of us already have the paper? I hope everyone has a good score tomorrow." Axel said. Karuizawa also gave them an encouraging speech before they went back to their respective seats.

Kiyotaka greeted Axel with a wave, Horikita glanced at Axel and Axel avoided her glance. Axel just sighs and looks at the predator. He smirks.

'She looks pissed.' Then he chuckled a bit.

Back to Present

"HMMM I GUESS THAT GREAT PLAN.. Good work." Horikita said to me, I just shrugged. We're done explaining our plans, I sigh I just use 0.01% of my energy. She goes back to her seats. Most of the students start talking to each other about the midterm examination.

I looked at Kiyo who was currently closing his eyes while some winds were blowing his hair. I put my head on my palm and stared at him.

'Really? How can you be so perfect?' I said to myself and smiled.
