Piper's POV

I tugged uncertainly at my dress. Why didn't  the boys have to come again?

The team found evidence of a possible threat at the Wayne fundraiser. The event was open to the public, so no one batted an eye at the presence of three girls. The boys were all somewhere else, probably  to avoid getting groomed.

Leo and Percy were in the black minivan that they owned, Leo to operate the computers and Percy to give orders and keep an eye on the event. Frank and Jason were patrolling the area, Jason flying and Frank on the ground as a stray dog.

Annabeth caught Piper's hand on one side, and Hazel's on the other. "We'll be fine." She told them. "Its public, and even if it wasn't, it's a masquerade. No one will recognize us."

It was indeed a masquerade, and the theme was medieval times. Annabeth was dressed as Belle, Piper as a dark witch, and Hazel as a Roman princess. They all had masks on, so no one should recognize then, like Annabeth said.

Piper hoped she was right.
