Andrea was certain that the boy has a disc, this was not what concerned her, the thing that concerned her was what if the boy used that disc he couldd posses danger to the people around.

There were still a few people around the beach, hanging and having fun.

"Are you all okay, everything alright?" Kane asked them thoroughly concerned.

"You think by asking that we will leave you, don't you try to act smart," Ren said scathingly.

"What do mean to say," Kane asked again and Andrea saw the confusion.

"Hold it Ren," she said, then turning to Kane she continued "Kane, do you have by any chance in your possession a disc"

"How do you know that, actually I do have a disc and that is where my power comes from," he accepted.

"What powers Kane?" Andrea said acting dumb, shocked that he knew that the disc gave him power. Most people possessing the disc didn't knew that the disc was the reason for their power.

"Well you know how I made your drink cold, that kind of power," he said oblivious to their shock and surprise.

"Oh, I see," Andrea said.

"Who gave you that disc Kane?" Jade asked.

"It was given to me by a boy, he said that this will give me power"

"The boy said that it will give you power and you believed him," Ren questioned.

"Er- actually, nope. He demonstrated the power of the disc and asked me if I wanted such power"

"Then what," Andrea asked getting interested the way this was going.

"Naturally I wanted the power so I said yes, then he showed me a disc box and said that I can choose any one of them"

"So you choose the ice disc," Jade said.

"Well, yeah," Kane said sitting down on the chair.

"So after getting that power you came on this beach and are using your superpowers to cool drinks and mocktails," Jade asked puzzled.

"Yup," Kane said as if using superpower for cooling drinks was something great.

"Doesn't it crossed your mind that with such powers you could easily have made a good fortune," Ren said.

"And how can that be?" Kane asked curiously.

"You could break into a bank and no one will be able to stop you, you can attack anywhere and ask ransom for the safety of the people there," Ren said.

"No I won't do those things," Kane said horrified.

"why?" Andrea asked him.

"Because I am a cop, and a cop would never do such kind of thing," Kane said.

This shocked them all, "What do you mean?" Jade asked.

"What," Kane said.

"She means, what is it about you being a cop," Andrea hastily cleared.

"What Does it means, well that means that I am a cop, police, what more justification does that need"

"What they mean is, you are a boy how can you be a cop," Ren said sternly clearing all the doubt.

"Well the boy who gave me the disc said that if I choose a disc then I will become a cop, he even gave me a badge"

"What badge, can you show it to me," Andrea asked interested.

Kane nodded and produced the badge, he handed it to Andrea.

Andrea took the badge and examined it. The badge was somewhat similar to her batch it was the batch of the captain that the force in her time use. Andrea handed back the badge.
"well, I guess you are telling the truth," Andrea said finally.

"I never lie, so you see I am a cop. Actually, I will tell you a secret, do you know why I opened a stall here" he said mysteriously.

"To find out about the guy who is responsible for the fire" Ren said simply.

"well yes," Kane said lamely as Ren ruined his effect. Jade looked at him sympathetically.

"I wish you luck, for catching the thief," Andrea said to Kane who nodded his thanks.

"We should take our leave now," she said turning to others.

"Wait a minute, before we go I have a question for you Kane," Ren said.

"Fire it up quick then," Kane said.

"You didn't tell us the name of the person who gave you the disc and said that you are a cop," Ren said looking dead into his eyes.

"I don't know his name, he never told me just said me one thing," Kane said again in a mysterious tone.

'not again' Ren said under his breath "What did he say?" Ren asked loudly.

"He said....." Kane paused for the effect, "..... He said that he was called the supercop" Kane completed, happy that this time he was able to create the effect.

"The supercop, huh" Ren repeated "Thanks for the info, we can go now"

As they were ready to go, Kane, stopped them by firing out the last question "Why are you all interested in the disc and the supercop"

"Well because we ourselves are the superhero corps," Andrea said showing him her gear and disc.
