Hazel walks up to the building of Superhero Academy and walked in.
"Welcome to Superhero Academy everyone! Remember to sign up for our many activities like track and field! Sign up today at the quad! This is Batgirl signing off!" Someone was saying over an inner com. Hazel looked at a sheet that showed her dorm room and left the main academy to find her house. Three houses down she found it. Topo House. What an odd name... Hazel thought going into the dorm.
"Woah! This place is huge!" Hazel explains.
"Oh yeah!!! New roomie!" A girl says coming into the room.
"Hi! I'm Hazel Dev." Hazel says smiling taking out her hand.
"I'm Tiffany. Tiffany Fox." Tiffany says shaking Hazel's hand.
"This room is huge!" Hazel exclaims with wide eyes.
"Yeah, well. We're living with six other people. Helena Wayne, Cassandra Sandsmark, Stephanie Brown, Cassandra Cain, Megan Morse and Mary Batson." Tiffany explains.
"Woah! That's insane!"
"Well at least we're not insane!" Someone says coming in to the room. Tiffany laughs.
"This is Stephanie Brown." Tiffany explains.
"Hi. I'm Stephanie. But you can call me Steph." Stephanie says smiling at Hazel taking out her hand.
"I'm Hazel Dev. Is anyone else here?" Hazel asks Steph. Steph nods.
"Cassandra, or Cass is here but she doesn't want to be disturbed." Steph explains.
"What is she doing?" Tiffany asks.
"Doing "homework" apparently, although I could have sworn she was talking with Jason." Steph explains looking at Tiffany. Tiffany nods, then Steph turns towards Hazel.
"Jason's like a brother to me, Cass and my other "brothers" and "sisters"." Steph explains.
"So you're all like a family?" Hazel guesses.
"Something like that." Steph says her eyes gleaming a bit.
"Anyway, you don't know your way around this place so I'm going to show you!" Tiffany says as Hazel takes her hand.
"Hey! If you see Mary tell her I have something for her!!!" Steph shouts as they leave. They go out into the quad.
"This is our quad. You can sign up for all sorts of activities! You probably heard before from Batgirl, she is the secretary for the school." Tiffany explains as they walk over to a booth that says "Cheerleader Sign Up".
"Hi Bette, Cassie." Tiffany says. The girls look at Tiffany and smile at her.
"Hey." They both said in unison.
"Hazel, this is Bette Kane and Cassie Sandsmark. Cassie is one of our roommates."
"Oh so you're our new roommate!" Cassie says and Hazel nods.
"Well, would you like to sign up for cheerleading?" Bette asks handing the girls a petition.
"Thanks, but it's not my thing." Hazel says handing the petition to Tiffany and she signs it. Bette smiles taking the petition.
"We'll see you later. Oh, have either of you seen Mary?"
"Batson? Yeah, she was... in the gym I think?" Bette says turning towards Cassie trying to check her facts.
"No. She's in the library actually, last time I saw her." Cassie explains.
"Ok. We'll check the library first. Bye!" Tiffany says as Hazel and her leave the booths. Hazel looks around.
"Wait. Let me sign the petition for the track and field." Hazel says. Tiffany nods and Hazel signs no one there at the booth. Hazel then left with Tiffany to the library.
"Oh good. We got another signing!"
"Who knew you could be so excited over a signature, Wally!" Artemis comments to her boyfriend. Wally shurgs.
"I'm bored but we can't leave or my Uncle Barry is going to kill me!" Wally explains dramatically.
"I doubt that." Artemis says rolling her eyes.
Tiffany and Hazel meanwhile go to the library to find Mary.
"Mary!!!" Tiffany shouts finally spotting her and waving.
"Shhhh!!!!!!" People shout makingTiffany and Hazel jump. They then go over to her.
"Steph wants to return something to you and this is Hazel Dev our new roommate." Tiffany whispers (Mary's picture is up above!!). Mary nods and then stood up to introduce herself.
"Nice to meet you, Hazel. I'm Mary. Mary Batson." Mary says as they shake hands and then she leaves.
"Alright! Let's continue the tour!" Tiffany says leading Hazel around the school. She showed her the gym, computer lab, other houses and pool.
"What's the pool for?" Hazel asks.
"Oh, swimming and water based superheroes." Tiffany says as they head back home. They return home to see everyone in the kitchen with some pizza.
"Hey! We ordered pizza!" Steph says and they all introduce one another to Hazel. Yep. This is going to be a great school year! Hazel thought as she chowed down on pizza.
