It was a normal Saturday for Hazel Dev. Just a normal fourteen year old girl. Well, aside from her parents being divorced, being a werewolf and her half sister, Debbie always hanging out at Hazel's house. Hazel walked out of her mom's apartment to get the mail. She wiped her eyes and said hello to Mr. Newhart passing by with his Dalmatian, Pedro. She finally got to mailbox 222. All mailboxes were tiny, cute and red. Hazel opened her mailbox and read the mail. Some bills, a letter from dad and... an invitation to a school called Superhero Academy? She pondered at the invite as she placed the mail over on the kitchen counter.
"Hey. What's that?" Debbie asks her half-sister.
"Hey," Hazel says still looking at the invite, "I got invited a school called Superhero Academy." Hazel explains handing the invite to her half-sibling. Debbie looks at it very seriously.
"Well, according to this, the trip is paid for, pets are allowed, you get to learn training and skill to become a superhero and it's for all ages." Debbie says.
"Hello girls, what are reading?" Vicky Dev, Hazel's mother asked coming into the room.
"Hi Vicky, Hazel got an invitation to a school." Debbie said handing the invitation to Hazel's mom. Debbie always insisted on two things. 1) To hang out here and 2) to call Hazel's mom by her first name because she wasn't her at actual mom. Vicky looks at the invitation.
"Well do you want to go?" Vicky asks glancing at Hazel. Hazel blinks a bit then nods profusely. All three of them start to pack up for the trip. At the airport, Hazel says goodbye to Debbie and Vicky. She was off. To Superhero Academy. Vicky and Debbie went back to the apartment and Vicky looked at the mail from her ex-husband and she opened it and read. He said something about how he missed her. She threw it in the trash in anger and left to work at St. James School where she worked as a teacher. Debbie was much older than Hazel because Debbie was from her mother's first marriage. Making the total three. The last being to Hazel's father, Dail. She was now 19 and had dropped out of college. Meanwhile while Hazel was on the plane she wondered if everything was going to be ok. She had no superpowers. She only agreed to going to that school to get superpowers. But she also thought of another thing, what will happen if everyone discovers that she is a werewolf?
