Wednesday. Hazel's third day at Superhero Academy and they were going to learn some fighting technics. Tiffany and Hazel walked together with the rest of the class and sit down on the yellow, cool gym floor. There were blue mats placed on the ground. Which only one thing that meant. Acrobatics. Then the teacher came in.
"Hello," the teacher says with a bright smile, "I'm Nightwing and I will be your acrobatics teacher. Now acrobatics is every important skill to learn for crime fighting. One of the most skills you will have to learn. Now let me demonstrate." Nightwing gets up on a balance beam and demonstrates some acrobat moves. Hazel hears some of the girls sigh in the room. She glances over at Steph who is looking mortified. Steph then slides over to Tiffany and Hazel.
"Why are they all so, um... mesmerized?" Hazel asks.
"Oh they all think that Nightwing is sooo handsome!" Steph replies in a mocking tone and sticking out her tongue in disgust.
"Basically he's one of my other "brothers". He's also dating the secretary Batgirl." Steph explains.
"The "family" bond that they all have is complicated, it includes one of my brothers, Luke. Also if you need any info, Steph's your girl!" Tiffany says. Hazel nods smiling.
"Alright. Now you try some." Nightwing says. Later after class Hazel and Tiffany are trying to get their house without hurting anymore muscles.
"Ugh! I'm sooooo sore!!!" Hazel say dramatically.
"I know! Being this sore should be a-" A streak of red flashes past them.
"What was-" The streak comes back.
"That." Hazel says finishing her sentence blinking at a man in red with yellow lighting blots and a yellow lighting blot symbol on his chest.
"Which one of you is Hazel Dev?" The man asks.
"I am." Hazel says putting her head up.
"Oh good. Could sign the petition again? They changed the dates for the time so I need everyone to sign again." The man explains. Hazel takes the form and signs again.
"I'm Flash, by the way. Your track and field coach." Hazel smiles and shakes Flash's hand. She hands back the petition.
"Thank you, Hazel. Anyway gotta run. About twenty more people to sign again." The Flash says jokingly before racing off.
"Anyway, let's go home." Tiffany says. The girls arrive home sore and tired. They come in and find Helena and Cassie sitting on the couch.
"Oh hey guys! You two ok?" Helena asks in concern.
"Sore. Tired. Should be illegal. Need...to...rest." Hazel replies out of breath as Cassie and Helena quickly try to get off the couch before they're squashed by Hazel and Tiffany.
"Oh! That reminds I got to get to the gym!" Cassie says looking at clock on the kitchen wall.
"Wait gym? We just got from there."
"Yeah they have wrestling there now and I don't want to be late! Coach Wildcat is a pretty tough guy when it comes to punishing students. Gotta go!!" Cassie says rushing out of the house.
"Sorry about her, she is in many sports in this school."
"Oh so that how she got so muscular!" Hazel says and Helena laughs.
"Oh! That reminds me. I gotta go too. Swimming by Coach Aquaman! Bye!" Helena says quickly as she jumps from her seat and leaves the house.
"Hey, aren't you all superheroes. How can you share your actual names but the teachers can't?" Hazel asks Tiffany as they turn on Superhero Academy News.
"Oh well, we're in training so it's better for us to be more calm and relaxed around each other. The teachers don't because they've got secret identities that could ruin their imagine in their cities." Tiffany explains. Hazel nods and they turn back to Superhero Academy News.
"Once again this is Star Sapphire signing off. Back to you, Power Girl."
"Yes well it's been a great season for all of us." Powergirl begins before the opening and closing of Topo House's door is heard.
"Hey." Cass says coming into the house.
"I'm making dinner. What do you two want?" Cass asks going over to the kitchen.
"Hmm... How about we order some pasta for tonight?" Hazel suggested.
"A salad?" Cass counter offered. The girls agree to the salad and Cass starts making it for lunch.
