You were part of the Injustice League, a group of Villains who went up against the Justice League and their leader being Lex Luthor.

The thing is... You come from another Earth where you've lost everyone you've ever known.

A war had completely destroyed Earth, turning it into wasteland.

You're only 18, you're just a scavenger who soon became an efficient killer just to survive.

Coming to another Earth, you searched to live in peace, only to be deemed a dangerous target by the Justice League which ended up in you joining the Injustice League and for the last 6 months, you've been working with them.

You mostly stayed quiet, but you always got the job down when you were tasked.

Recently... Lex had been planning something big and you didn't like it... Not one bit.

Which was why you're mission with a few other villains (Sinestro, Giganta, Black Manta and Solomon Grunday) to head into a building, containing electronic devices, so Lex would use them to repair Brainiac.

You had to think of a way to sabotage the entire mission.

But before you did, the Justice League crashed the party.

Everyone had their own fight, you had you're own fight with a beautiful blonde superheroine, fortunately being Supergirl, the cousin of Superman.

Supergirl reminded you of you're Girlfriend, who was literally Supergirl who died when you're Earth collapsed after the war by the hands of her cousin who was evil in your world.

While you were fighting Supergirl, she noticed you were holding back, which confused her, but you pushed her out the way, taking a hit from Sinestro's ring, sending you into a wall which you took a very bad hit. Sinestro was disappointed, you saved the enemy from danger.

The Injustice League retreated, leaving you behind.

You watched as they left, the other Justice League members that were there, got to their feet, Supergirl stood over you're unconscious body, as you saw black all around.

Wonder Woman: Supergirl, are you alright?

Supergirl: yeah... I... He pushed me out the way. Crow saved me.

Diana noticed the unconscious body of you, soon the other League members who were there, walked on over.

Flash: so... Is this the kid who was deemed dangerous? Doesn't seem dangerous to me?

Artemis: Crow saved you?

Supergirl: yeah, he pushed me out the way of Sinestro's attack, anyway, shouldn't we help him? He's unconscious and needs medical attention.

Flash: I'll tell J'onn to get a med bay ready for our guest.

Flash runs into the Javelin while Supergirl picks you up and looks at you're face, noticing a scar that was down across you're cheek.

Supergirl: (he's got a cute looking scar... Wait, why am I thinking this? Focus Kara, he's just a nobody... No... That's mean... He's not a nobody, he's... Just... Someone... From a different Earth according to Batman, wonder how Crow got the scar?).

A few hours go by, you would wake up in a bed, strapped with a magical rope called the Lasso of Truth, Wonder Woman interrogated you but the Lasso of Truth wasn't working, your power was fighting back the Lasso of Truth, then emmited an Electric field around you, a burst of Arc Light erupted within you, pushing back the Amazon and the other Heroes that were present in the room.

You shot up and casted a Golden Gun of fire and aimed the magic weapon at the Heroes, knowing they were ready to fight, a calm soothing voice told the other Heroes to leave the room and let "her" talk you down.

You looked at the female, knowing it was the same girl you rescued from getting injured from Sinestro.

Batman who was present, was about to protest but understood as he was about to open his mouth.

Batman: if he makes a wrong move...

Supergirl: I know... I know, leave the room, please.

The other Heroes left the room but stood by, watching through the window just in case if a fight breaks out.

Supergirl: hey... Remember me? Supergirl?

You: you.... Yes I..... I remember.... But... Those people? They are bad.

Supergirl: no no, they're not bad people... They're good people... Heroes I call friends... Well... Not all of them but they're part of the Justice League.

You: Justice... League?

Supergirl: yes... We are the Justice League... I've been apart of the League for 2 years now. I'm 18 by the way.

Your Golden Gun disappeared, you saw the Maiden of Might as a non-threat.

The heroes stood by and watched through the window, Wonder Woman smiled as she saw Supergirl talk you down.

Wonder Woman: safe to say... Kara shows a heart of kindness.

Batman: not until she gets closer, he'll hurt her.

The Martian Manhunter who was present enters your mind and finds nothing about a second thought of attack.

Martian Manhunter: I just checked his mind... No plan of attack.

Batman: but his power resisted the Lasso of Truth which is a first, we need to be cautious.

Supergirl keeps talking you down, eventually, you start to feel confident and tell the truth.

You: my Supergirl died saving my life... She saw the error of her ways... And you remind me of her... In my world... All of you aren't heroes... You entered my city and burned it to the ground... Superman led the attack, his Regime he called it... Ruled the world with an iron fist... I fled the city after my Father stayed behind to ensure my survival, I would soon find my powers by an unknown artifact and joined the Resistance after finding them, a war broke out, it was... Chaotic... I was only 16 at the time... This was where I met Lex Luthor, a very kind and brave commander of the Resistance, he led the operations while other heroes... Such as Black Manta, Deadshot, Deathstroke, basically this Earth's entire Injustice League were Resistance fighters.

When the war was over... Everyone was dead... I was the only one left... Able to resurrect myself after dying... I've died... Multiple times... But over time... My powers grew weaker but wouid grow stronger if I stay out of action to recharge. I got the last laugh and put a bullet through your cousins skull... After learning he killed my Father and soon... I killed the rest of the Regime... You Supergirl... Died... Saving my life from your own cousin. You died in my arms... I respected you with my heart... You... Well... My Supergirl... Loved me and she's gone, I came here to find piece... To live another life... Until all of you screwed it up... Chasing me down like I'm some sort of HVT who's wanted in every state, this is too much for me.

You looked down... Not saying anymore words... Hurt by the memory of losing someone who loved you with their heart.

Supergirl sat still, shocked to learn where you came from... Seeing how hurt you were. She looked at you and stood up, walking towards the window, seeing the other Heroes still watching and pressing a button to blacken the window, so none of them could see what's going on from the outside.

She walked back to you and sat down, wrapped an arm around your shoulders to comfort you, pulling you into a hug.

Supergirl: I'm so sorry.

You: there's no need... To be sorry... Its not your fault... I understand why I was hunted down... But the pain... It was too much for me... It felt like I was living the same life again... Always on the run, until I found Lex Luthor... Again... But he seemed different to the one I knew... He cared but... His obsession of wanting to (Lex Luthor impression) "make the world in my image and defeat Superman once and for all".

Supergirl starts to laugh.

You: what? What's so funny?

Supergirl: you make a good Lex Luthor impression... It sounds just like him.

You: I've been around my Lex Luthor ever since the war for Earth started, only to end up in us losing, and me losing everyone I knew deeply and called them friends.

Supergirl: yeah... I'm so sorry to hear about that... It must be... Hard to move on... But hey... Don't worry... We'll help you adapt to this world.

You smiled and looked at Supergirl.

You: you would?

Supergirl: yes... We are the Justice League, we help the innocent, protect the innocent and defend Earth.

You: that... Means a lot... Thank you. Any idea when I'll be out of this room? I don't think I'll be trusted to walk among... Wherever I am?

Supergirl: oh... Forgot to mention... Look outside that window.

You looked... You could see stars... Supergirl unwraps her arm around you and you stand up to walk towards the window... Seeing the Earth.

Supergirl: your in a space station where the Justice League operate from, I'll be the first to welcome you to the Watchtower.

You: I never thought... I'd step foot, on a space station above Earth. It was my dream when I was little, now that dream as come true.

Supergirl: anyway, I'll be back... Just stay here the now until I come back.

You looked back at Supergirl and nodded your head, only to look back down towards Earth... Taking in the view while Supergirl left the room and went on to find her cousin to speak with him about you.

She walked down the corridors and eventually found her cousin, testing his strength with a massive weight lifter.

Supergirl: Kal, can we talk?

Superman: sure *turns to a few others while carefully placing down the weight lifter* I'll be a few minutes.

The Man of Steel walked out with his cousin to talk, Superman has been told about you and how you saved his cousin's life, only to be provoked by the Lasso of Truth, triggering your abilities to fight back what is deemed impossible to resist.

Supergirl: I don't know if the other members are ok with him being around... He mistaked our Lex Luthor with his Lex... Thinking our one was good like his one, I don't won't Crow to look like he's not welcome here... He feels uncomfortable.

Superman: hmm, it's still confusing to me, how can there be a good Lex? Are you sure he's telling the truth?

Supergirl: yes... I talked him down since he saved me... And... Apparently... Him and his version of me were very close.

Superman: it needs to be talked about first with the other founding members... I'll call the others to the meeting room so we can discuss if Crow can walk freely around here... And... Have someone to help him adapt to this Earth... Since he's confused.

Supergirl: thank you Kal. I'll go check on him now, I left him in the med bay.

Superman nods his head, and watches his cousin rush off before tapping on his comms to the founding members of the JLA.

You on the other hand, were sitting on the bed after having another Hero come in to keep an eye on you... Just in case... The conversation was... Interesting... You were asked questions... Lots of questions coming from the man himself named The Question, who's always been on your case since you were first targeted.

As he left however, Supergirl came back in, worried you'd ran out. It was rather cute seeing her worry just like your version of her did when she changed sides to help the Resistance.

Supergirl: I'm just glad you didn't run off behind my back.

You: why would I do that?

Supergirl: well... I tell my cat Streaky not to scratch the table and he does it anyway.

You: funny... I used to have a cat... Before she passed away.

Supergirl: t-aww, I'm so sorry you had to bring that up.

You: it's alright... It was a few year back... I wasn't upset or anything... I got used to death... Since my Father died a few times and came back like nothing happened.

Supergirl: what did you call it? A... something?

You: A Risen or "Lightbearer" we call ourselves, its someone with emmence power that can control 3 elements, Solar, Arc and Void. Void is space magic. Everyone knows that Arc is electricity and Solar is fire which burns like the sun and can heal wounds... Even wounds that are severe and we can resurrect ourself with Solar Light.

Supergirl: I've never seen that much power for a normal Human being before... Your more than a Meta Human.

You: I was classed as one... A few times in the early days of the Resistance... But was then called... A Risen or just a Lightbearer, hence fourth, we called ourselves that... And I'm the only one left. Many others are either scattered throughout the galaxy or in another timeline.

Supergirl: hmm... Btw, what did Question ask you?

You: personal questions... Seemed like a guy that needed to know and he already earned my trust... He's a good Detective... Been on my case since I was targeted for the wrong thing... I just let him.

Supergirl: so that's why he told us to go easy on you... Which we already were anyway but... He warned us about your power... Which was why other magic users were always up against you... But... I noticed you held back everytime you fought against me... Like you didn't want to hurt me.

You: because my Supergirl... Was an enemy who then became my friend, then my Girlfriend for a time... Until she died, saving my life.

Supergirl: yeah... I can tell you really liked her... Btw, how'd you get the scar? Just curious, that's all.

You: got it from the wilds after the Regime sent out men to hunt me down after I attacked a convoy. They managed to track me down but I escaped, but got a cut on my face in the process after my face was slashed from a sword I didn't see coming, I was lucky my eye wasn't tooken out.

Supergirl: hmm, not gonna lie but... I dig the scar... It makes you look... Hot.

You chuckled, the both of you looked then made eye contact again after a few more laughs, and got closer, and closer, almost closing the gap until someone entered, it was Superman.

Superman: hello Crow, its good to meet you.

Supergirl: don't worry, he's not gonna hurt you.

You were a bit startled, your Superman has done lots or things that has haunted you for a very long time, your Father dying from him was one of them.

You: sorry... Its just... My Superman killed my Father.

Superman: I'm sorry to hear that Crow, don't worry, in this world, nothing like that will happen, we're a lot different than your version of us. Anyway, I've come to say that we've decided that you can roam around the Watchtower under surveillance of a chosen member.

You: that being?

Superman: my cousin.

Supergirl: w-what? R-really?!

Superman smiled and nodded his head.

Supergirl: yes!!

You: um, why do I need to be under surveillance?

Superman: basically, it means that Kara can help you adapt to this world, also... Welcome to the Justice League.

He brings out his hand for you to shake, and you shaked it.

You: um, thank you.

Superman: no need to thank me... You can thank Kara, she came to me to talk about it.

A few months later

Within the Justice League, are a duo of two heroes... Crow and Supergirl, a Feather and a Maiden of Might, a Spark of Light and a Girl of Steel, the two of been on missions a lot, stopping the Injustice League from doing what they always do.

Half of the time, the Light and Steel duo teamed up with other teams like the Teen Titans and the Outsiders, even a few members of the Justice League for other missions to help the world you have adapted to thanks to your partner Supergirl.

As the team ups went well, you started to grow feelings from the start, after almost kissing a few months back, at the time, you both forgot about it, but it came back up after the... Embarrassing incident in the training room, you fell on top of Supergirl who was on the floor after you tricked her. The two of you were training at the time when it happened.

At the moment, you were walking with Kara through the halls of the Watchtower, talking about some old memories you enjoyed before everything went downhill on your Earth.

You: it was rather a beautiful place, its where I dreamt of having a perfect life... Until that backfired.

Supergirl: well... Look at your life now, you're in a team, started a new life and moved on, you're now part of a hero team that protects the world rather than destroying it. And you're my partner.

You: I guess so... Maybe this life... Isn't so bad after all.

You looked at Kara and smiled since she smiled at you, but her smile turned into a smirk.

Supergirl: Y/N... There's something I wanna let you know about.

You: yeah?

Supergirl: so you like me?

You blushed hearing her ask that question, you didn't know what to say.

You: umm... I... Uh...

Kara giggles, knowing you're embarrassed, but to her... Its cute that you act like that when asked a question involves love.

Supergirl: oh Y/N... You're adorable.

You: *blushes uncontrollably* uhh... *nervously chuckles* you too.

You're eyes widened after what you said, you're cheeks were as red as a tomato, a big red blush that was bright that Kara smiled, looking the other direction and blushing.

She then looked back at you and blinked slowly, making you look her direction and pulling you into a kiss, making the first move, just like what you're Kara did, making the first move with a deep loving kiss.

You immediately melted after realising you were getting kissed by your partner.

You're arms were wrapped around her back, underneath her cape, her arms travelled up your back, until she stopped around the back of your neck, wrapping her arms gently around it.

10 seconds go by and the both of you break the kiss and connect foreheads, giggling and smiling.

You: Kara Zor-El. I love you.

Supergirl: Y/N L/N, I love you too.

You both slowly kissed and closed eyes, deepening the kiss ever more slightly... There maybe happy endings in Fairy Tales but this...

This is your new home.
