Kara: Hot chocolate and butter croissant for me and one espresso for the beautiful girl in front of me.

Lena: (blushes)

Kara: (eating her croissant) Do you want some?

Lena: (shakes her head) You have crumbs. Here, let me wipe that for you.

Kara: What would I do without you? (giggles) Did you enjoy the film? I can't believe How To Train Your Dragon The Hidden World is the final installment. I miss Toothless already. Such an adorable creature.

Lena: Yeah...

Kara: Why are you unusually quiet tonight? Is something bothering you? Oh it's the film I pick, right? You want to watch Happy Death Day 2U but I insist on watching dragons. (pouts) Maybe we can watch that on Sunday. If you're free. (grins)

Lena: We need to talk.

Kara: We are talking (laughs) By the way, you haven't answered my offer yet.

Lena: Kara, be serious. Tomorrow, I go to Dublin (pause) and I'm not coming back.

Kara: (spits out her drink and starts coughing)

Lena: (hands her a napkin) Are you okay?

Kara: My tongue is burned. Hot cocoa is spilled.There's a big dark stain on my favorite Star Wars t shirts. To add the cherry on top, you are leaving and just drop the bomb now. How do you think I am? Totally not okay.

Lena: We can't be together.

Kara: Bullshit. Who says that?

Lena: My parents.

Kara: You believe them?! Fuck them. They don't own you. Therefore, the Luthors don't dicate your life, don't say what clothes you wear, a career to pursue nor forbid us to have a relationship. It must be their mission to separate us. We live in 21st century and homophobic still exist. (sighs)

Lena: I'm not following anyone's order. This is my decision and it's final (gets up and leaves the café)

Kara: Ugh. Wait for me! (chases after Lena)

Lena walks towards the park nearby, Kara follows her shadow. Next thing, they both sit on a bench, crying.

Kara: Is it me? Did I do something wrong or is it something I said? I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way but you have to know that I do it unintentionally. I promise that I'll try to be a better man. In order to do that, you need to point out my mistakes.

Lena: The problem is not you, it's me.

Kara: (rolls her eyes) I may be still in high school but I'm not dumb. What is the real reason? Why so sudden? How about your master degree? If you're bored with me, just say it to my face.

Lena: I would never get bored whenever I'm with you. You are the best girlfriend I could ever ask for. Honest, kind, loyal, dork, courageous, dork, and optimistic.

Kara: (raises her eyebrows) You mention dork twice.

Lena: That's what I love about you most. Once, I was a broody girl. Then, our world collide and I never be the same. You turns my frown upside down with your dad jokes and bad pick-up lines. You show me that life is worth living by giving me love. For most of my life, that word is nonexistent in my dictionary. At first, I was scared of it. It holds such power to make or break someone's heart. If someone asks what does love mean to me two years ago, I would laugh it off. Now, my answer is Love is You.

Kara: How is that supposed to make me feel better or worse? You're breaking up with me. I expect a lot of shouting, swear words coming out from your mouth. Not praises from you. You're hiding something from me. Let me see all of you. Whatever it is, I'm not gonna leave you now, not ever.

Lena: (opens her gloves and pulls up her winter coat sleeves)

Kara: (gasps) These scars (gently brushes her fingers over the cuts) are recent.

Lena: I am weak. Every insult, I try to brush it off but I'm only human. When my dad sexually abused me, I fall apart. The light you bring into my life get dimmed. The clear sky becomes cloudy. The nightmares are haunting me every time I close my eyes and... and I feel so dirty. I- I hate myself. I want to die and leave this world. No more abusive parents, slurs or punches and kicks they throw at me.

Kara: (massages her forehead) And you go through all of it alone. I failed to protect you. (takes a deep breath) How many?

Lena: Thrice.

Kara: (closes her eyes)

Lena: If it wasn't for your Spongebob meme as your way of greeting me in the morning, you wouldn't watch Toothless acting like a fool to impress his crush. (dry laugh) You save me. Kara Danvers, you are my hero.

Kara: As your hero, I'll stand by you. What your mother and father did to you is a crime and they need to bu punished. You are not weak. Together we fight.

Lena: You think it's easy? The law bows down at the sound of Luthor.

Kara: (defeated look on her face) So, it is hopeless after all.

Lena: ...

Kara: Do you love me?

Lena: You know the answer.

Kara: Then baby, let me in. We are a team. Take me with you. I'll go wherever you will go. I'm always gonna be by your side to guide you through the darkest of your days.

Lena: No. I will not drag you down into my messy life. It's time for me to be my own hero.

Kara: (tears are running down her cheeks like a waterfall)

Lena: I need you to do one thing for me.

Kara: Anything.

Lena cups Kara's face which cause the later flinch by the cold hands but Kara doesn't pull away. She melts into the touch. The raven hair girl edging closer and pressing her soft lips against her lover. The blonde buries her hands in Lena's hair and lose herself in the bittersweet kiss. Lena finally pulls away. Although her eyes are glossy and distant but there's a smile on her face.

"Stop loving me" with those final words, Lena walks away.

Kara is glued to the bench. She barely has the power to stands up. Her feet are wobbly. Helpless and hopeless, that's how she feels inside.

Kara: (screams into the void) Don't walk away. Lena!!! Tell me what I have to do so you'll stay. Come back to me, please. What will I do without you? You are my world.

Lena 10:56 : I leave my iPod in your pocket. Listen to the song when you already home. Thank you for everything.

Kara 10:56 : FUCK YOU!!!

Kara 10:57: Don't leave me. Come back and take these tears away. I need you beside me and your arms to hold me. Whispering to my ears that it's all a joke. You don't even say goodbye. </3

(The next morning)

"Are you going somewhere?" Alex points to the luggage.

"Euston station. I'm going to Dublin," Kara says with such determination. "Lena said to stop loving her not stopping me to come after her."

Alex nods, "Well then you might need this." The older sister throws Kara's passport. "Go get her tiger."

Kara hugs her sister "Bye, Alex. I'll call when I get there."

"Love you. Be safe."

(Train)

"Excuse me, miss. I believe that is my seat," Lena's ears tingle at the voice she knows all too well.

"Kara?" Confusion is all over Lena's face. Her eyes are still red and puffy from last night.

"I want you to know that I love you eternally. I just can't stop loving you. No matter what happens I promise that I wont ever leave. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. We are going to show your parents how strong our love is. A Luthor and a Danvers can be together."

Lena stands up and come face to face with Kara, "It's a long journey."

"I pack a lot of snacks."

"It's gonna be a rocky road."

"I've come prepared."

Lena lifts her pinky finger, "You're with me?"

Kara locks their pinkies, "Always."
