Lena winced at her mother's sharp words, "I'm sorry" she whispered

Lillian immediately snapped back "Luthor's are never sorry"

The cold woman walked away leaving a young Lena on her knees with a sore cheek. Suddenly a cold hand gently cupped her cheek, she looked up to find her brother.

Lex smiled kindly "Hey Lena, it's ok I promise"

"She hates me" Lena wiped a stray tear

"No she doesn't, she is just being strict. Mother is like that"

"Can we hug" Lena muttered

Lex smiled gently, her wrapped his arms around his younger sister "Never ask"

The siblings stayed in each other's arm for a few minutes "We should go before Mother comes back" Lex gently pulled away

"Can we go build something together?" Lena stood up, her cheek no longer hurting

"Always together"
