"Fuck.." Maggie bit her lip, leaning forward in her seat.
"Damn.." Kara muttered under her breath, her cheeks heating up.
"Okay, can you guys not drool over Lena at every game?" Alex complained, seated in the middle of them.
"Is this the only reason you guys come to these games?" Alex huffed out, slapping Maggie on the knee as neither of them had responded.
"Babe, your hot and all.. but it's Lena" Kara nodded in agreement, stuffing a handful of fries in her mouth.
"Then why don't you just jerk off to some recording of Lena fucking Luthor" Alex snapped, crossing her arms.
"Babe, are you jealous?" Maggie smirked, raising an eyebrow.
"No.. I'm just.. you really think Lena is hotter than me?" Alex looked over at Maggie with a hurt expression.
"Of course not, you're much hotter" Maggie assured her, Alex sat a bit more with confidence at the statement. "Especially..when your under me..and just moaning for me to-" Maggie smirked, her hand moving to Alex's inner thigh.
"Not, in front of my sister" Alex hissed, slapping her hand away. Maggie rolled her eyes, retreating.
"Yeah, not in front of me" Kara spoke with a mouthful of fries.
"I'll get you later, Danvers" Maggie growled into her ear, smirking as Alex stood up stuttering and stumbling.
"I-I'll get more fucks-fries.. more fries" she turned around, speeding off to get more fries.
Kara suddenly stood up, pulling Maggie up as the whole stadium stood to their feet. Lena ran down the field, covering ground faster than her opponents, her dark hair whipping behind her.
She abruptly stopped as a defender ran up to her at full speed and let the girl trip over her outstretched foot before she continued running at the same pace. The crowd roared in support. Kara and Maggie the loudest, of course, being her biggest fans even though the two knew nothing of and had no care for lacrosse.
The crowd then simmered down as all held their breaths for the awaiting moment. The only thing between Lena and the point that will name her team as the winners of the championship and keeping up the school streak,is that goalie. Lena had no intention of losing, Luthors don't lose. A motto she might as well wear as a pin of how often she's used it in her life. For both the worst and best.
Lena slowed down to a trot, shifting the stick in her hand. Then just as suddenly she began to run at full speed, one quip of her arm and the ball was heading towards the net. 3 seconds passed. The crowd trying to figure out if it made it in or not.
The victory cry from Lena proving the answer, shortly the whole stadium joined in on her battle cry. Stomping their feet and hooting as she pumped her stick in the air along with her teammates.
Soon, the stadium was beginning to empty, people taking their exits and heading to back. Some hovering, hoping to catch a glimpse of Lena before she headed to her after party. Though, she didn't leave the main exit and they soon figured that out and left.
"Where's Alex?" Maggie looked around for a very lesbian redhead haircut.
"Riiiiight.. there" Kara pointed Alex out, who came running with an envelope in hand.
"I got in!" Alex cheered. Maggie and Kara stared at her with blank confusion.
"What?" Maggie asked, eyeing the envelope. "In what? A sorority or some sh-"
"Oh my god!" Kara squealed, hugging her sister whilst congratulating her.
"Am I missing something here? What did you get in to?" Maggie questioned, losing her patience. Kara pulled away, giving Alex a look.
"You didn't tell her?"
"Tell me what?" Maggie looked desperately at Alex.
"I.. Maggie I got into Stanford"
"That's great! That's.." Maggie's face fell at the sudden hit of realization,
"That's a different college, that's far away from here- Alex your leaving me?" The hurt was evident in Maggie's face and voice. Kara silently slipped off, whispering to Alex that she'll start packing for her.
"I'm not.. it's not exactly leaving" Alex tried to reason.
"You're leaving me off to some fancy college, and you didn't think to give me a heads up?"
"I forgot.." Alex winced at how lame it sounded when it came out of her mouth.
"You forgot to tell your girlfriend-"
"Keep your voice down" Alex hissed, paranoid as she looked around. Maggie pursed her lips.
"Yeah, I'll keep my voice down. Don't worry, nobody has to know about you and I ever again" With that she walked off before the tears spilled, you never let your opponent see you're weak.
"Maggie" Alex called out.
Maggie didn't listen.
**************
"I'm gonna miss you" Kara gave Alex her fourth hug that day.
"Yeah, me too. But, at least you'll get a new roommate"
"Yeah, finally" Kara teased, but she was actually excited about that aspect.
"Doesn't mean you can slack off your studies" Alex reminded her, Kara rolled her eyes with a smile.
"Yeah, yeah. Now, hurry, your gonna be late. Call me when you get there" The two sisters connected one last time, before sending the other off who held high ambitions. Ambitions to be a doctor for the best at the best in no other Stanford University.
But, Alex wasn't leaving yet. She had one more stop to make.
"Coming" Maggie stood up from her desk, expecting it to be her roommate from her daily workout, but instead found a familiar redhead.
"Alex" Maggie breathed out, though her expression instantly hardened.
"What do you want?" Alex visibly shrinking, she had hurt Maggie. She didn't want to leave Maggie hurt.
"To say goodbye, before I leave. If that's okay with you?" Maggie struggled to keep the tears in her eyes at bay, and she absolutely did not trust her voice at this time. So she used her actions.
Swiftly, she pulled Alex in by the hand and closed the door behind her. Placing her hands on Alex's face she pulled her in for a soft, longing kiss.
"I'm.. Alex I'm gonna miss you so much" Maggie's voice cracked at the end as she hugged Alex, pulling her closer even though there was no space between the two.
"You getting soft on me, Sawyer?" Alex quipped, wiping at her tears as Maggie pulled away.
"Yes, I'm absolutely soft for you and only you Danvers, wanna know why?" Maggie used her signature tilt of the head, a devastated smile on her face.
"Why?" Alex asked, Maggie's usual answer was always a hard 'no' or a scoff. This answer.. this answer scared Alex.
"Because I love you.. you make me soft" she pulled Alex in for another kiss, their salty tears mixing together, pulling one another as they hoped to memorize everything of one another. The taste of their lips, their touch, their words, everything.
But, time was running out and was not on either of their sides.
"I have to go" Alex wiped her eyes, forcing herself to pull away. Maggie nodded, putting on a smile as she stepped out of her way. As Alex had one foot out the door, she turned on her heel facing Maggie.
"Maggie?"
"Yes?" Alex took a deep breath, preparing herself.
"How do you feel about long distance relationships?" She let out in a spur of one quick breath.
"I hate them" she bitterly responded, causing Alex to deflate.
"But, I love long distance relationships with you"
"Really?" Alex brightened up, placing her hands on Maggie's hips.
"Yes, really"
"I.. Okay, I mean are you sure? I don't wanna force you into something you don't want-"
"Alex.." Maggie cut her off with a stern look, but followed by a soft smile "I fully intend on being there to cheer you on when you graduate as valedictorian as a doctor. Nothing is getting between that, okay?" Alex nodded, overwhelmingly happy.
"Call me later?" Alex asked, pecking Maggie on the head.
"Of course"
**************
The past few days, Maggie and Kara kept themselves busy by plastering roommate posters across their floor. The two sat in her room, awaiting a call or text for potential roommates.
Hours passed, they talked to Alex, to each other, challenged each other in handstands.
"Fuck" Maggie muttered as she fell from her handstand, Kara's phone went off and the two jumped onto her bed, opening the text message.
Unknown: Hi, is this the person looking for a roommate?
Kara: Yes, are you interested
Unknown: Yeah, when will I know if I can move in?
Kara looked over hesitantly at Maggie.
"I don't think your getting any more offers, just take this one and hope for the best" Kara shrugged in agreement.
Kara: You can move in today
Unknown: Great, I'll be there at 6:00?
Kara: Okay
"I'm staying" Maggie announced, rolling onto her back.
"Why?" Kara asked in confusion.
"In case this person tries to rob you or some shit, I'll just kick their ass. Your sister's orders by the way" Maggie added the last sentence in a hurry, as if Alex might hear.
"Oh, that makes sense. Well, I don't mind." Kara took a look around the room, they had trashed it between the handstands and such.
"Let's clean this place up first"
"Okay"
..............
"Their here" Kara announced, hearing a faint knock at the door.
"Well, get it over with" Maggie called from the chair at her desk, sitting up as Kara opened the door.
Maggie stood up, a squeal escaping her at the sight of the woman at the doorway.
"Lena?" Kara choked out.
"Uh, yeah. Am I at the right place for the-"
"Yes!" Maggie yelled from the back.
"Oh, okay, cool" she grinned, meeting Kara's eyes.
"Nice to meet you...?" Lena held out her hand, fishing for her name.
"Hi, I'm gay" Maggie shook Lena's hand, her dimples on full display. "I mean Maggie.. Maggie and gay" She nodded vigorously, her smile never slipping.
"Lena, nice to meet you gay. Cute dimples" she commented casually, Maggie's face plummeted to a bright red as she sputtered out a "Thank you"
"Anyway, Maggie-" Kara gave Maggie a look that spoke 'you can leave now'. Maggie took the hint, assuring Lena that she'll be back as Kara forced her out the door.
"I saw your game the other day" Kara commented,
"Nice technique"
"You play?" Lena questioned, she talked as if she knew the form Lena used.
"Oh, no, I hate sports" Lena chuckled, assuming the other reason why she came to watch.
"Ah, I see. Not a fan of me-"
"Oh, no! I'm a huge fan, love your.. stuff and.. yeah" Kara tinted to a light pink, bowing her head.
"Thanks, I appreciate it" Lena replied humbly. Kara noticed, having some guilt as she thought that she would've soaked up her win and refused to be humble at such a time. But, here was Lena acting humble as if by nature. And it was, at least for her.
"Can I help you unpack?" Kara offered, as Lena began to open the few boxes she had.
"Trying to catch a glimpse of my panties?" Lena snorted at the reaction she received from the blonde.
"I'm just playing with you"
"I mean.. I wouldn't mind" Kara shrugged, mumbling to herself. But, Lena heard with a smirk, though pretended not to, saving Kara her dignity.

(So I'm skipping like a few months or so now, because I wanna skip to the good part and nobody cares about the parts in between so I won't write it)
(If you do; sorry)
Lena woke up bleary eyed, her hair messed up based on the rough activities she performed last night. Speaking of which, she rolled around her bed, searching for the unnamed girl she took from the party.
"She's gone" Kara sharply spoke from her desk, currently finishing up an essay. She fully intended on not disappointing Alex in any way shape or form, and it paid off, she now stood as one of the top academic students. She was 2nd place. Lena was 1st.
Lena Luthor, the girl she can hardly stand. Always off to parties and with girls, yet she gets an A on a test with ease and brushes it off. While Kara works her ass off for weeks preparing for a test and barely passes.
It wasn't fair. Lena got everything she wanted. Popularity, good grades and a good reputation.
"Oh, better for me" Lena yawned sitting up. The girl didn't leave, Lena knows Kara kicked her out. It's what happens every time Lena brings a girl for the night. And the speech is yet to come.
"Lena" Kara sat on her bed opposite Lena, facing her.
"Yes, Kara?" She groaned sitting up, Kara pursing her lips as she struggled to focus on Lena's face and not the clothes loosely hanging from her beautiful body.
"This is the last time-"
"That I bring a girl home, I got it" Lena finished her sentence, pulling on her jeans and a t-shirt.
"No, you don't" Kara suddenly snapped, standing up and facing Lena.
"You still continue to bring sluts into here, while I'm working my ass off to try and beat you for valedictorian and you can't recognize that!"
Silence filled the air, the only sounds were Kara's heavy breathing as Lena looked at her with wide eyes.
"So, please stop bringing them home"
"I'm.. I'm not a slut" Lena spoke, hoping that her voice came off as firm.
"Lena- I.. I know I just got a bit carried away. I'm sorry"
"It's fine." The two sat down, Lena walking over to sit beside Kara.
"I have an idea" Lena spoke up, glancing at Kara.
"Okay.. what is it?" Kara asked curiously.
"There's a party-" Lena hesitantly began.
"No"
"Kara" Lena groaned in annoyance.
"Lena, I said no."
"You've never been to one, it's college"
"Yes, college. A place to earn a degree, and we have finals tomorrow!" Lena dismissed this with an annoyed eye roll.
"We're going to that party" Lena muttered, Kara sent her a dirty look to which she just smiled innocently.
***********
"I can't believe you got stuck up Danvers to come to a party" One of her friend's grinned, nodding towards Kara who sat in the corner on her phone rather glumly.
"She's not enjoying it" one of her other friends commented.
"I'll make her enjoy it" Lena handed her drink off before striding up to Kara.
"Yes?" Kara looked up, before her eyes even reached Lena, her phone was snatched out of her hand.
"Hey!"
"Studying while at a party, tsk tsk" Lena mocked disappointment, pocketing her phone.
"I have to! My sister-
"Isn't your sister Alex Danvers?" Lena cut her off with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes and?"
"Kara," Lena chuckled "Your sister was the biggest partier I knew, especially before finals. She said it's how she released her stress or something" Lena shrugged at the gaping Kara.
"Re-"
"Yes, really, now come play a few rounds of beer pong with me"
................
"I don't wanna go!" Kara whined as Lena dragged her out the door.
"Come on, you're gonna kill me in the morning if you get a hangover" Lena said more to herself than anything.
"I don't get hangovers.. I'm smart" Kara retorted, fighting to walk, though failing miserably.
"Yeah, alright" Lena snorted.
"I am" Kara stated firmly, facing Lena.
"I can be smarter than you"
"I'm sure you can" Lena smiled slightly, she wanted Kara to be smarter. She wanted Kara to achieve those goals she worked so hard towards to. Because she sees her. She sees her late at night, studying for tests. She sees her working her ass off to make it. Kara deserves it.
"I used to like you" Kara casually said as she began walking again, Lena beside her, a hand on her back to guide her to walk.
"Used to?" Lena asked with a hint of nervousness in her voice.
"Yeah. I hate you now" Kara used the strong word as if it were nothing, Lena paid no mind to it having grown numb to that word due to growing up with many inflictions from it.
"May I ask why?"
"Because you're perfect" Lena bit her lip to keep from protesting. From ruining her image. This is exactly what you wanted. Don't turn back now Lena scolded herself.
"You're popular, everybody loves you" lies, lies, lies, oh if only she knew the truth.
"You go ahead and get drunk then come the next morning with straight A's" Kara continued to babble, Lena fighting an inner battle to restrain herself from giving away her cover. Her perfect glistening cover that she worked so hard to create, but only wanted to destroy seeing that Kara didn't like it.
"Lena?" Kara suddenly directed at her, as if she just realized Lena was here.
"Yes?"
"I think Imay love you a bit more than I hate you" Lena's heart stopped for almost 3 seconds, her breath hitched in her throat.
"We're here" Lena quietly said as she opened their dorm room, letting Kara flop onto the bed as she set two glasses of water, one for each with Advil in them.
**************
Kara shot straight out of bed, her alarm clock blaring sending sharp thuds in her head. Quickly, she gulped down the Advil and water and pulled on her clothes as she muttered her study notes under her breath.
Lena huddled under the covers, hiding from the interrupting sun and noise.
"No.." she mumbled, curling up further. Kara looked up with a soft smile, rolling her eyes playfully
Lena Luthor is alright. Kara decided in the midst of her muddled thoughts.
